  1. A desert region of California that has its fair share of snakes :???:.
  2. Folks I had quite the experience this morning ! It was 6 am or so and I could hear some audible commotion outside in my garden. I wearily looked out the window and see my mom huddled over this little Blue Jay chick. She was hurriedly instructing my dad to grab this or that and I had to ask what in the world was going on ! She pointed to its left wing and indicated how he had hurt it a bit. He was bumping against the side of our wall and the poor thing was starting to get exhausted. I swear I think my mom's a bird whisperer...she told us to grab some hand towels to cover its eyes first and place it somewhere safe. We gave her the towels, she delicately draped it over his eyes and he didn't so much as move. Now to those of you saying you should have staid away, your heart would have broken for this thing. We live in snake country and we have discovered at least 10 snakes every year in our yard. In the current location it was in, it was pretty exposed to all those nasty sort of reptiles. Though we knew it might not reunite with its mother, we felt the least we could do is put it somewhere safer. So my mom grabbed a basket, hung it on one of our trees, lined it with another towel, and set it there. The poor thing was panting and you could see his chest moving up and down quickly. It was obviously thirsty. I remember hearing that those birds particularly enjoy berries for nutrition and hydration. So I mashed up some strawberries and we grabbed a small turkey baster. We carefully motioned the turkey baster to its mouth and wouldn't you know it, it actually opened its mouth and let us feed it <333. Finally, we stepped back inside to give it some space and left the strawberries next to him. We periodically checked the window from time to time...and then...we were shocked by what we saw! We saw a large shadow passing by the little thing several times. At first we thought it was a bird of prey or something...but no...it was its mom <3:. She tore a bit of the strawberry we left and fed him a bit more. It was the most endearing thing I ever saw. So at the end of the day, this story had a happy ending. All I can think of now, is that little guy, my god...it was quite an experience.
  3. Lady Shahdie: P2P Just realized I wasn't on that version of the hi-scores :). Add me please, thanks!
  4. Glad you're doing better draggle :).
  5. Tripsis your art is so imaginative and has such an impressionistic quality to it. While your combat pieces are incredibly impressive, I'm a fan of some of the more sentimental ones you've done. I recall one with a boy and a girl on a grass field and footsteps shaped like hearts leading to him. That one always touched me...call me sentimental, but I completely fell for it <3:.
  6. Guess I'll be the first to break in this new forum ! Quite a passionate machinima maker myself and possess a love for it almost as deep as mining . So without further adieu, here's a featured vid of mine! Featured Video: [hide=Awesometasticness] Jagex Feature! Mod French Likes :-o [/hide] You can watch more of my machinima shenanigans at my channel on YouTube.com. Critiques and commentary are always welcome!
  7. v Don't forget to click! ^ Don't forget to click! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thats right folks! What seemed like a snail of a level up is finally done and in the history books. I now possess level 95 smithing! My journey is literally winding down to its final stages. It makes me feel a bit teary-eyed to be honest. Ever since I began RuneScape I envisioned myself with 99 mining and 99 smithing. It doesn't seem like I'm really getting there but I actually am O.O. Of course I have some other plans once this is finished but still...this is quite a milestone for me. A new 99 shall soon be mine... [hide=Level 95 screenshot][/hide] In other news, I catapulted to 21 million mining xp and have amassed over 90k GOLD BARS. CAN YOU SAY BLING-BLING?
  8. Yeah "A White Phat" has left the banner at the w84 Living Rock Caverns for over an hour.
  9. Seems the redemption codes are already being sent out.
  10. For those curious about pronunciations, this postbag from the hedge tackled some of them, including the infamous Ardougne :o! Oh and to SirHemen, I loved the Heavenly Sword game. This narrator isn't bad but I thought Nariko's voice actor had beautiful emotion in her voice. Don't think any of them come cheap though :P! I think the guy who played Golem in LOTR even voice acted for that game... [hide=Postbag 35] [/hide]
  11. Voice Overs - Look Who's Talking Step in the right direction if you ask me ...more immersiveness ftw!
  12. Yes you are allowed to enter both the drawing and the mining contest :).
  13. I miss you too <3

    *sends a mega huggle*

  14. Goodness, you're right :P! It was waaaaaaaaay off-kilter on this one. Ah well, they can't always be so easy peasy I suppose...but how in the world would anybody guess this one?!
  15. *begins singing: Oh Happy Day* Set aside some budget on the pie chart for Tripsis's skittle fix...ok ;)?
  16. A katagon rapier and 125 blood runes if I feel like fire waving. Though I am sort of debating switching to a katagon spear.
  17. I am not vehemently against it. I just wished they would place more of a spacing between the first and the last. If they host them with too much regularity, users may start demanding it as a consistent thing (bonus weekend every weekend :-?). Personally it does not peeve me to the point of feeling angry, but I kind of feel for the maxed community, who have their achievements slightly cheapened with the easier and easier methods to gain super fast xp. Anyways, guess I better stock up supplies to train smithing if I manage to scrounge any time whatsoever to level :P. Didn't really have much time to invest in the first.

  19. Hey all, in the midst of video making and smithing to 99...RuneScape just had to hit old Lady Shahdie on the head with Dungeoneering :ohnoes:. While I'm mainly leveling the skill for research purposes I have gained a strange liking of it. I find it an intriguing skill but a bit too raw in development of its potential. So I just wanted to post this update to let you know whats stalling my progress so much and why you're seeing my adventure log clog up with dungeon bosses killed and floors breached . What are your thoughts personally? Those titles are right about one thing...I am indeed "beserk" XD! [hide][/hide]
  20. If you're interested in seeing titles on the Tip.It guide feel free to suggest it on this thread and we can think it over :).
