19-May-2010 - Community Game: The Triumvirate [RSOF]
I was a bit of a hypocrite *points to saradomin armor in signature* and joined The Judges :P. I mainly sport the sara for looks not the philosophy. The world needs equal parts chaos and equal parts order. Balance ftw :ugeek:...

Triumvirate: Who Will You Join?
Well it seems Jagex is embracing the roleplaying community events quite a bit lately. Their latest concoction plays off the ancient forces of the gods and has split the realm of RuneScape into factions. There is the evil faction known as The Reavers, a good faction known as The Lords, and a balanced faction known as The Judges. To get a better understanding of what your choice entails, I made a spoof enlistment video (or you can skip my machinima shenanigans and go straight to the official forum thread :P ): Video quality may still be processing so be patient.

Dungeoneering Guide and Skills- Updates and Corrections
Bosses on the guide that are reflected 1 level below what is stated in the RS KB/skill guide have been proven to be unlocked at that level via screenshots. In-game verification is always the most definitive way to find out ;).

Dungeoneering Guide and Skills- Updates and Corrections
Thank you Vhellcat for the great picture and excellent info (you will be credited)! I got some more information on it from a friend in-game and they tell me that keys can be obtained by killing guards too if you do not decide to thieve them.

Don't you think it's kinda lame and arrogant to have Private Chat set to 'Friends'?
- What do you have you're private chat set to and why? I have my private chat set to Friends. It was not my true intention to have it that but it slowly started becoming necessary. There are two reasons behind me doing so. I don't mean to give one of the stereotypical reasons of: "I was getting swamped with 'will you be my gf' requests," but this was truly one of the most motivating ones. For quite awhile I would simply utilise the ignore list but it was starting to become ineffective as I was receiving them non-stop and my list would constantly max out. By setting it to friends, I can clearly see pms coming from people who I have truly enjoyed talking to and are mature enough to hold a conversation that isn't similar to an e-harmony request. The second reason may sort of collide with what you said regarding providing help. As a Tip.It crew member, I have my name pop up here and there on Tip.It guides. Upon joining crew, I started getting messages from people asking for help on a variety of topics, some of which I don't have much experience with. I tried to respond to as many as best I could and when I didn't have the information they needed or enough time to explain in detail, I'd direct them to a guide on the site. When I had to redirect people, some would be courteous enough to understand while others would be beyond rude and even curse at me  ("You're suppose to help me *expletive* thats your job!") It eventually became too unmanageable and I started getting these kind of pms around the clock, so I gave up :(. - When (if ever) you have Private Chat set to 'on' about how often do you get spammed by other players? (e.g. once a day, twice a day once a week, etc...) I would probably receive 10-20 pms at once upon setting private chat to On. - In what ways do you agree/disagree with what I'm saying. Explain. I half agree with what you're saying. Sadly, in today's RS, there is a trend of being less and less helpful as well as an air of elitism. However, as you see in my and several other cases, those two issues are not the biggest factor of keeping your private chat on Friends. Also, some people merely desire their privacy and are not keen on talking with people they do not know very well. In a way, this is a very practical reason especially for younger RS players who need to protect their privacy on the internet. So no, I do not think that setting your private chat to Friends is arrogant due to the infinite reasons that outweigh "arrogant players."

04-May-2010 - Fight Knights Clan Tournament Announcement
Its funny that most of us are getting excited over possible cc changes and not so much the event itself . Sounds interesting, don't get me wrong, but combat isn't really my thing. I'm just getting a little tired of so many combat oriented competitions/content. Still though, its a nice move on Jagex's part to try to cater to clans a bit more often than they use to. So all in all, this competition is a good move...and the CC changes, an even better move  !

Poor Widdle Blue Jay!
Folks I had quite the experience this morning ! It was 6 am or so and I could hear some audible commotion outside in my garden. I wearily looked out the window and see my mom huddled over this little Blue Jay chick. She was hurriedly instructing my dad to grab this or that and I had to ask what in the world was going on ! She pointed to its left wing and indicated how he had hurt it a bit. He was bumping against the side of our wall and the poor thing was starting to get exhausted. I swear I think my mom's a bird whisperer...she told us to grab some hand towels to cover its eyes first and place it somewhere safe. We gave her the towels, she delicately draped it over his eyes and he didn't so much as move. Now to those of you saying you should have staid away, your heart would have broken for this thing. We live in snake country and we have discovered at least 10 snakes every year in our yard. In the current location it was in, it was pretty exposed to all those nasty sort of reptiles. Though we knew it might not reunite with its mother, we felt the least we could do is put it somewhere safer. So my mom grabbed a basket, hung it on one of our trees, lined it with another towel, and set it there. The poor thing was panting and you could see his chest moving up and down quickly. It was obviously thirsty. I remember hearing that those birds particularly enjoy berries for nutrition and hydration. So I mashed up some strawberries and we grabbed a small turkey baster. We carefully motioned the turkey baster to its mouth and wouldn't you know it, it actually opened its mouth and let us feed it <333. Finally, we stepped back inside to give it some space and left the strawberries next to him. We periodically checked the window from time to time...and then...we were shocked by what we saw! We saw a large shadow passing by the little thing several times. At first we thought it was a bird of prey or something...but no...it was its mom <3:. She tore a bit of the strawberry we left and fed him a bit more. It was the most endearing thing I ever saw. So at the end of the day, this story had a happy ending. All I can think of now, is that little guy, my god...it was quite an experience.

RuneScape Fan Art & Crafts - Sneak Peak
Tripsis your art is so imaginative and has such an impressionistic quality to it. While your combat pieces are incredibly impressive, I'm a fan of some of the more sentimental ones you've done. I recall one with a boy and a girl on a grass field and footsteps shaped like hearts leading to him. That one always touched me...call me sentimental, but I completely fell for it <3:.

Level 95 Smithing - Only four more baby :D
v Don't forget to click! ^ Don't forget to click! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thats right folks! What seemed like a snail of a level up is finally done and in the history books. I now possess level 95 smithing! My journey is literally winding down to its final stages. It makes me feel a bit teary-eyed to be honest. Ever since I began RuneScape I envisioned myself with 99 mining and 99 smithing. It doesn't seem like I'm really getting there but I actually am O.O. Of course I have some other plans once this is finished but still...this is quite a milestone for me. A new 99 shall soon be mine... [hide=Level 95 screenshot][/hide] In other news, I catapulted to 21 million mining xp and have amassed over 90k GOLD BARS. CAN YOU SAY BLING-BLING?
