Because Nascar drivers are in a big metal cage. Skateboarders don't have more than a few pads and a helmet to protect them.

I'm sorry, but the 8200 doesn't exist. :-s

An earlier restore point wouldn't help, since I periodically delete all of my old restore points except for the most recent one. I'll try uninstalling whatever driver I have at the moment in safe mode and then re-installing it. Thanks for that tip. ;)

Ok if I'm going into middel school, What caculater DO I need
bartoron replied to gedboy2112's topic in Off-Topic
Trust me, the TI-30XA is going to be FINE for middle school. I used that calculator for part of middle school and it more than served its purpose. (infact there's one in my desk drawer) It's not until high school that you need to start using a graphing calculator. (I use a Ti-84 Plus) However, if you want people to think you're cool because you have a pimped out calculator, get the TI-30X IIS. It's only $5 more than the Ti-30XA and it has arrows which you can use for scrolling between entered equations. It also has a 2 line display and a solar panel. http://education.ti.com/educationportal ... x_iis.html -
My DVD drive hasn't been able to read disks for about the past year or so, and I haven't been able to fix it. It's a LITE-ON 16X DVD̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâñR DVD Burner (model number SOHW-1693S). Today I downloaded the firmware for the drive from the Lite-On website, but when I try to install it it gets this error message: I'm 100% sure that I have the right drive, but the fireware update [Caution: Executable File] doesn't seem to think so. :| In the device manager the drive shows up as this: There are several odd things about this. First of all, the drive name at the top is nothing like it should be. Second, it says that this is a SCSI drive, but it's actually an IDE drive. o__O So, anyone know what the heck is wrong with this stupid drive? :(

Pardon me for not listening to the same song for an hour. You don't have to make a new post for every single song you listen to. :-s

As better weapons have been released over time, better armor and defensive prayers have been released to keep the balance between offense and defense. At the end of RS1, the best weapon in the game was either a dragon sword or a dragon axe (battleaxe), and the best armor setup was a rune platebody, rune platelegslegs, dragon medium helmet, and dragon square shield. The best weapon in RS2 at the moment is arguably the abyssal whip, and the best armor setup is a Torag's helmet, Torag's/Guthan's/Dharok's platebody, Torag's/Dharok's platelegs, and a fully charged dragonfire shield. The best armor from RS1 wouldn't stand a chance against the best weapon from RS2, and the best weapon from RS1 wouldn't stand a chance against the best armor from RS2. However, the balance has always remained.

It may be young, but if you're mature enough to play Runescape without making others realize how much the community is dead then I suppose it's ok. :-s I started playing Runescape when I was in 5th grade and I'm going into 10th grade in September.

There are no bullies in middle school. It's pretty much exactly the same as elementary school. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. :-s

What old updates do you remember the most?
bartoron replied to Atroxide's topic in General Discussion
Uhh... well obviously when RS2 came out. That was a pretty big update. :-s I also really remember when sleeping bags and different kinds of pickaxes came out. The day the update happened no one knew where to get the pickaxes so they were going on the street for 10 times their normal price. XD -
ROFL. I'm surprised that guy was even smart enough to complete Tutorial Island. XD

LOL. Counter-Strike is so old that it can pretty much be played on any computer. If your computer can't handle it then your resolution is probably set too high. A higher resolution = more resource intense. Just change your in-game resolution to 1024x768 and make sure you have it set to run in full screen.

Good point. The Spurs are probably gonna go out and sign even more unnecessary veterans to make their bench even more packed, and the Suns signed Grant Hill. ;) the only thing i like about the spurs is their scouts... how the hell did they find Tony Parker, manu ginobili, beats me. they even drafted leandro barbosa but traded him on the day he was drafted to the suns. plus they always find decent foreign players for their bench Yes, the Spurs do have good scouts. ;)
-
No because it was never that cheap. :-s Remember when santas were 125k and green masks were only 250-300k? Those were good times.

It's real! O__o Did you get permission from Jagex to use the Runescape logo on your cover?

The West is still going to be better than the East. Get over it. :-s Last season, there were only 2 teams in the Eastern Conference that finished with 50 or more wins (Cleveland with 50 and Detroit with 53). There were 5 teams in the Western Conference that had 50 or more wins (Utah with 51, Houston with 52, San Antonio with 58, Phoenix with 61, and Dallas with 67).

Yes, and the picture that person used to flip and transparify looks very different than the one I've usually seen. Of course it doesn't... it was flipped and overlaid. :wall: NO DUH? My post said that even if the picture in the OP hadn't been flipped and overlaid, it still wouldn't look anything like the version I posted. :-s

Congrats on the anniversary! :D
