The taller, more educated, higher SAT/ACT score, pretty guys get paid more for theirs... I would hate to find out - "Yeah, your real father was some teen punk that jacked in a cup for money." I think this is immoral, especially the part about never knowing who your true father is. Also - there is no love in their conception. Seems that every day we're taking one step closer to becoming a Brave New World.
  2. Rules is rules. And those that blindly follow rules need to learn better judgment, otherwise we'll all be doomed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment
  3. Of course I've only gotten MVP, Survivor, and Battle-mage... ever... you know, never most deaths, or goliath... TBH, I've never paid attention. I might jot down the unique ones I encounter for now on. Last night I saw "Leech" - was a lvl 3 that did nothing.
  4. If you have more than one account, you're not supposed to let them interact (i.e. trading). This may be against the rules, but I'm pretty sure they'll have a hard time distinguishing if its one player on two computers or two players on two computers in the same LAN, like at a library. I'm not going to ask for clarification on this, and I'm not going to let you guys know if I even attempt it. I'll let it sit in the back of my mind for now...
  5. F2Pers above 90 combat automatically get a 50% reduction in XP. However, if you have 1 level 3 on your team for every 90+, you get full XP. I'm thinking about putting my two computers together and using a dummy account every time I want to solo. Oh, I also played with a lvl 3 last night. It didn't bother me that they did nothing (leeched), but it really bothered me when we were ready to end and they were AFKing. Took us a full extra minute to end because they didn't move. If you're not going to help, at least don't slow us down.
  6. I believe they only degrade when wielded. Whether or not they're worth it....
  7. I'd like to see a customizable interface - 12 big buttons that you set - which can allow you to do things with greater accuracy. Some sort of hybrid between prayers/magic spells/attack styles would do wonders for the game. If I had that, I'd probably have these buttons: 1. Teleport to lumbridge 2. Teleport to varrock 3. Telebock 4. Toggle mage prayer 5. Toggle atk/str prayer 6. Toggle def/atk/str prayer 7. Bind 8. Toggle autocast Fire blast 9. Toggle accurate / aggressive attack styles 10. Eat swordfish 11. Eat anchovy pizza 12. Drink Strength potion. Each of the buttons would only work when you have the required materials / prayer level. I think they're getting there (sort spells, set prayers), but they're still a long way off.
  8. All the items and GP would remain in game, it would do nothing to stem inflation. But once again, inflation is not a problem, so there's no need for this solution.
  9. In the long run we're all dead. I'd invest in limpwurt roots before I'd invest in bones.
  10. Although Pvp drops played its part, alching plays a bigger part. Are you sure about that? I don't think people alch as much as they used to. There are way better ways of training magic nowadays. I think PvP plays a bigger part than alching. There's an equation, MV=PQ that could have much more real effects on the price level than inflation. For instance, take the recent EXP weekend. The prices on virtually everything sky-rocketed. How could this happen? M = the money supply, the total number of GP in runescape. This didn't change. V = the number of times a GP is traded in a time period. This did change (dramatically), people started traded more in preparation. P = the average price of all goods. This did change, as prices became higher. Q = the number of goods traded in a time period. Its reasonable to assume that the number of goods traded increased, but not by much. There are limits on how quickly items can enter the game. Anyhow, back on point. A slight change in the rate that a GP is traded can have a huge impact on the inflation in game. If a GP is traded 10% faster, and the number of GP's don't change, there will be 10% inflation.

RAWR!!!1! I HATE BIRTHDAYS!!!1!!!!!! RAWR! In all seriousness - Don't post your details online. Don't post your birthday, your age, your school, or anything else that can identify you. Heck, don't even post your city if the population is less than 10,000. I might have a b-day party... will do a drop party or summat.
  12. Fletching, yes. Ability to equip skillcapes, yes. Increased crafting capability, it depends on what you look at. Coifs, studded armor and snakeskin should be given and craftable (given that they are all under 40 ranged). Craftable green d'hide is a no for me. Balanced combat triangle, again it depends. Magic now has the arcane blast necklace and the tome of frost, ranged already has the longbow sight, and melee has gravite weaponry. Arcane blast necklace changes the max hit of magic from 160 to 176... when magic is already a tick slower than a scimitar. Scimitars can also hit ~260 with 99 strength, or ~310 with a corrupt d scim. That's hardly balanced.
  13. I think this will be epic... wonder if they'll be able to let in more than 100 people at once for clan wars?

@OP - I'ma do my thing, you do yours. If I find that I don't like you or your style of play, I'll quit after we finish, and find someone else. The leader may feel that you're being a leech, but if you're trying to help the best you can, you're not a leech. Next time this happens, and the leader rips through you again and again on how you're a leech, patiently wait until they find a team door - you know, the levers, or follow the leader? Then, waste as much time as you can, get your "add ignore" ready, and quit. They won't be able to complete the dungeon, and they'll know exactly how valuable you are. Or, they won't, but you'll know exactly how valuable you are. One of my friends didn't like the style of play of 4 other people he was with. They got to the boss room, and he instructed them what to do, and how to do it. They didn't listen, and one by one they died. They were playing on a large map, and had cleared out every room. One of the rooms, on the way to the boss, was the tile room. It required 76 runecrafting, and only my friend had that. He went there, forced a tile, and then logged out. They probably spent an hour on that map, to get very little experience. Goes to show you shouldn't mess with other people in your group. TL;DR - 1. Don't piss off members of your group 2. If you're trying to help, you're probably not a leech.
  15. My private is usually set to "Off" or "Friends". I expect that 90% of the RS community is like this. I don't consider myself superior to other players because of my stats, lets face it, they're not. I've had too many PMs asking for my account details to be bothered. Don't you think it's kinda lame to have people you don't know spamming you?
  16. Why can't F2P have the BONECRUSHER Seems worthless to members, seeing that they already have a "altar-x" feature and other ways to quickly train prayer. F2P prayer is unfair. 550 million gp, for something that maxes out at 30k xp / hour, and takes 1 million clicks. The bonecrusher would've made it a little better, and by making it f2p, it would've gotten use.

Its the best money because nobody wants to do it.
  18. Would've meant a lot more to me if we didn't have dung.... oh well.
  19. I was busy this weekend. 1200 total level, 95 strength, 95 combat, all in one level. [hide=picture] [/hide]
  20. Forgotten warriors are very easy if you pray their style and attack with their weakness. Even Tier 10 melee doesn't stand a chance to lowly fire blast. BTW - Anytime you face an opponent that's higher than lvl 80, you should pray. They can hit 160+, and you can't eat fast enough to keep up with them.
  21. I know that... I was talking about the general starts... Usually the first couple monsters you kill drop enough gp's to get the tier 3 hatchet, pickaxe... and the hammer and the tinderbox. I usually skip the fishing rod and feathers because its rarely used (and when it is, I'm pretty ticked off). gotta love the gatestone tele. Its saved my butt several times, as well as speeds this up x2. :D
  22. I doubt this to be the case... my stats: 94 strength 66 attack 51 defense 88 magic 70 range 94 combat When I start out, I usually get a tier 1 bow, with tier 3 (or lower) arrows, a tier 3 or lower weapon (usually daggers). For armour, I rarely get anything other than tier 4 mage equipment (90% of the time its gloves, boots, OR helm, 9% of the time its bottom, 1% of the time its top). For runes, I either get runes for binds or runes for some time of blast (death + air + some other elemental). I also usually get ~40-60 essence. As far as food goes, I usually take everything tier 3 or above (less than 5 pieces). For tools, I'll usually get a tier 1 hatchet or pick. What do you guys get?
  23. Runes are a pretty common drop anyway... given a little time and effort, and a RC level higher than 44, you have unlimited GP in the dungeon (as long as you have 1 rune ess, or 50 gp). Its faster to get 125 ess than it is to get 125 fractite arrows, I bound those. I never get a splinebeam bow starting out, and its impossible to obtain in dungeon, so I bound that. I also bound a fractite battleaxe for its strength training (both slash and crush). I might bind a catalytic staff and destroy my battleaxe, since its impossible to obtain at the start.
  24. Looks like Jagex is encouraging F2Pers to upgrade to members... Gnome-copters did a better job at that than this does. This is just a crap fix to a crap problem.
  25. Why can't F2P have uniform Dungeoneering experience at all combat levels?
