Player and Jagex Mods
only time i ever saw a jmod was the day new pc came out; i think she was testing out the "if you log out during a game and log back in after you will remain on the island" bug. She asked me to kill the brawler on her so she could log out :)

*UPDATED V.3* Barbarian Assault Tips and Tricks
Pantim, i guess i didn't explain some of my tips well enough. It's true that her magic attacks hit everyone, but like every monster ever invented she only fires at one person at a time--even if the attack HITS everyone, only one person is the TARGET. You can tell who she is "focused" on by seeing which of your teammates she is facing. If the person she is "focused" on runs underneath her, she will cease firing until she can reposition herself to fire at that person again. Of course, she only "focuses" on one person for so long; then she will switch to someone else. Your continued insistence on believing in the unsubstantiated rumor that using the cannon in any way affects the points you earn annoys me greatly. Of course, I've already run tests to disprove this rumor, and the results have been conclusive; I wouldn't have posted that in the guide if i didn't know it to be true. Since you continue to doubt me, I redid my tests, taking pictures this time. The test was simple; i played wave one through once, acting as a defender, and killed both runners with the traps. I then took a picture of the advanced breakdown. Having done that, I then reset my wave and did wave one again. This time i prevented the runners from escaping, but did not kill either of them; instead, i let the cannon take them both. I myself didn't use the cannon. Another player--it could have been any of them, but it was NOT a defender--shot both runners to death. I then took a picture of that advanced breakdown also. This is the picture of the advanced breakdown for when the cannon was NOT used: This is the picture of the advanced breakdown for when the cannon WAS used: As you can see from the photos, if you bother to follow the links to look at them in full, the point value for the runners remains the same. This is what i've been saying all along: the amount of points you get for killing ANY penance monster, in ANY way, is constant. Now, about you, Pantim; apparently, you are an idiot. If you still think I'm wrong, that i've never played Barbarian Assault before, or that I'm even outright LYING, then please post your remarks below. But next time, if you think I'm wrong about something, try getting some PROOF. P.S. one good thing came out of this; I'm posting these images on the first post of my guide, so no more idiots come along telling me how wrong I am.

Playing with the Hiscores
lol ouch. i have a fair distribution. i have cooking, the incredibly common; thieving, the not-quite-so-common, and now agility, the very rare. I'm content with the spread =)

Playing with the Hiscores
i found it pretty funny that every single combat stat is in the top 9, excepting prayer

The Overview This is a thread listing how many players have 99 in all of the individual skills, in order from most common to rarest. The Intro I've posted threads like this twice before, both times on the RSOF. I posted it first on the General forum, where i got a grand total of two posts. Yay me. I posted it on the skills forum next, and it achieved mildly greater success, but was soon ignored by most players. I decided to update and repost it on this forum after reading somewhere that someone thought "cooking, fletching, firemaking and thieving were the most common" because "they were the easiest" (definitely not an exact quote lol). The List 1. Strength: 21,909 (21.9k) 2. Cooking: 20,732 (20.7k) (My first and noobiest 99) 3. Fletching: 19,815 (19.8k) 4. Attack: 19,636 (19.5k) 5. Hitpoints: 13,511 (13.5k) 6. Defense: 11,319 (11.3k) 7. Ranged: 7,427 (7.4k) 8. Woodcutting: 6,742 (6.7k) 9. Magic: 6,418 (6.4k) 10. Firemaking: 3,388 (3.4k) 11. Fishing: 2,797 (2.8k) 12. Prayer: 2,549 (2.5k) 13. Thieving: 1858 (1.9k) (One of which is me :XD: ) 14. Hunting: 865 15. Crafting: 783 16. Smithing: 674 17. Mining: 533 18. Agility: 436 (all i had to do to find this one was look up myself \ ) 19. Slayer: 371 20. Farming: 305 21. Runecrafting: 296 22. Herblore: 229 23. Construction: 189 The Notes I've done this 3 times up to date. the first time, attack and strength had a hefty lead, and under 100 people had 99 construction. additionally, hunting was still among the top 5 rarest. the second time, cooking had overtaken attack but strength was still far in the lead, and fletching was still pretty weak, while hunting was in the 8th position and con still had less than 100. Now... you see how it is. The Miscellania I got all this information from the rs hiscores between 5:30 and 5:50 Tuesday afternoon July 24, 2007. Some of these numbers will not be accurate, even by the time i post them. Some skills, especially strength, cooking, fletching, and attack have very explosive growth, sometimes more than 50 players a day. I got the info by basically using the search for rank option to find the lowest ranked player with 99 in a skill. their rank is the number of people who have 99 in that skill. If you wish to you may look thse numbers up in the hiscore and they should be fairly close to accurate for a couple days If you see ANY errors please post below, thank you :

you know, after pc had been out a couple months w78 wasn't much fuller than any other world; it was just that a higher percentage of players there were at pc point is, we don't know that 99 will be unliveable. im siding with the more conservative tippers and saying we should just sit on it for a week lol but what do i know? i never go to 99 anyway

Runescape Players Racist/Sexist?
lol its true, noone buys willows in hundreds and if this is actually racism/sexism you should have reported their levels, then we could all see it wasn't just levelism i personally have never seen racism or sexism in rs and i feel like you came up with this on insufficient evidence

End of the pc CLAN era.
dunno what yall are talking about with clans surviving; even on world 78 we had a 95% success rate and 2 minute games. clans aren't gonna get very much more successful or faster if they world hop (100+ only, dunno about the lower boats)

The Ultimate Guide to Herblore
great guide, and and if your accepting our tips... if you have a LOT of empty vials to fill with water, and have done the second lunar quest, the fastest way to fill them is with the humidify spell, using a water staff, 1 fire, and 1 astral each it's a one-click spell that will instantly fill every vial in your inventory--that's a max of 26 vials at once, taking only about 3 seconds. its a waste if your only doing 40 vials or so, but if you need 200+ filled or just use lunar a lot anyway, its a life-saver

*UPDATED V.3* Barbarian Assault Tips and Tricks
i hate it when people talk about stuff they don't know. like this fool your wrong about all three points. 1. you always get the same amount of set points, even if you use the cannon to kill some monsters. that is a FACT you idiot, RESEARCH IT BEFORE YOU SAY ITS NOT TRUE!!! 2. the queen only ever focuses on one person, if your that person and she can't get you she WON'T FIRE, that's a FACT you idiot, TRY IT BEFORE YOU POST ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! 3. truth is i've never tried the "Evil Plan", but im going to go out on a limb and say you haven't either go back to the RSOF you jerk having said that, i just want to say; im open to debate on what people say, but if you think i'm wrong, get some evidence before you start posting stupid stuff like this
