Well I guess I'll start with my first conecert, (I've only been to two). My first ever concert was Tool, in the U.S. Cellular Center near where I live. It. Was. AMAZING. The music was awesome, although for some reason Maynard decided not to have a spotlight on him at all, so you either couldn't see him/could see his silhouette against the screens playing the music videos behind him. Was pretty awesome. During Vicarious, a black curtain fell behind them, and revealed their 10,000 days cover, only with actual color. Was EPIC. Went deaf for a few seconds after it. The music videos were sweet, and they had a pretty cool laser show going on. They had a pretty bad (in my opinion) opening band, a Japanese band (I think) called Meltbanana. We couldn't understand them, because they were screaming too much. My second concert was Flyleaf, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace. It was a late Christmas present from my brother, who I went with. That was even more epic than the Tool concert. Flyleaf was pretty cool, although it was hard to understand the singer because the bass was up way too much. But it was a good show. Breaking Benjamin was kick[wagon]. Played a whole bunch of good songs, and a few I've never heard of. When they played... Savior? I don't know the name, it's the one they had in Halo 2? Anyway, when they played that, they had a bunch of Halo vids playing behind them. The trailers from Halo 3 and Halo Wars. It was pretty awesome :grin:. They also played "Dream on" by Aerosmith. That was pretty kick-[wagon] as well :grin: Had pictures of famous singers/guitarists/bass players/etc. going on behind them, thought that was nice of them, and also because it is a good song :thumbup: . And lastly, Three Days Grace. The show-stealer for me. Awesome songs, and lots of crowd interaction and all. Before they played Riot, they asked what they wanted to hear next, and everyone said Riot, and the singer said "I apologize in advance Cedar Rapids, but we won't be playing Riot tonight.................. Nah, I'm just [cabbage]ing you!!!" *goes deaf again*. The drummer also did a pretty cool drum solo. He recorded some tribal-sounding taps, then played them while jamming out. While he was, the platform he was on rotated, thought that was awesome as well. And at the end, 8 geysers of fire erupted :thumbsup: Heat level went from "comfortable" to "Holy crap it's hot in here" and back in about 2 seconds. And I was a good distance away from them. After that, they used the pyrotechnics for most of the songs after. We didn't stay for the very end, because we wanted to beat the crowds, plus it was late and we had work/school after. The last song was Animal I've Become (right? I don't pay attention to names, only the songs :lol:), and it just wouldn't seem to end, so we left before it finished. Was a great night.

Happy birthday Jaerk :razz: Today was pretty fun. Had shortened afternoon classes because of BATTLE OF THE CLASSES!@! (spirit week :thumbsup: ) Dress up days and all of that good stuff this week, except Tuesday, no school ftw. Battle of the Classes was pretty fun, the Juniors won the tug of war (we won last year too, whooped everyone.) It was good fun, especially the blindfolded-chair race. Many cones were hit :thumbup:. Also had something where you throw popcorn at a person with a plate of peanut butter on their face, and get them to stick. That was ok. Also had Bobbing-for-barbies, and Staff-vs-students dodgeball (only with those cheap foam balls, but oh well, was pretty funny). Good way to end the week :thumbup:.

Just googled it... it's really fun :grin: Except the whole limited-forum-visits thing... which is kind of lame I guess, but oh well. It's fun :thumbup: I recently got MAG, and am enjoying it immensely. FINALLY won a game of Domination, but it was against Raven, so no big surprise there <_< S.V.E.R. is IMPOSSIBLE to attack it seems :evil: We got close once, but we got to 1/4 of the way then couldn't capture any of the pumps.... that seems to happen a lot...

40 degrees and enough rain to provide the snow of a million winters for San Antonio. This sucks. The rest of America gets an entire week off except us. Where are you guys? Iowa only got ~6 inches monday night, didn't have school tuesday, and nothing else, nor anything planned for a while.

You're kidding right? A new handheld and home console would've been announced way back in '08. Nobody should be considering a new console until at least 2013. I'll bet Nintendo is just planning on introducing ANOTHER version of the DS, which isn't exactly a bad thing, however. Yes, but of all of those sales, to all of those people, how many actually play their Wii anymore? Especially those that got it on launch day and after. I know I got mine a little while after it came out, and I hardly ever play it. Granted, it is at my dad's house, but whenever I ask them if they play it, they say "no, not for a long time." My 2 cents :)

The heat radiating off of it maybe? People wore capes/cloaks to stay warm way-back-when.

Fire. THERE I SAID IT. Got an F in my metals class because I realized I was scared [cabbage]less of it, even though I didn't think I was before I signed up for the class. Always afraid the sparks were going to catch on my pants. Also because of the oxycetaline (?) exploding, or leaking and killing us all. Worst part is my homeroom is located right next to the shop that my metals class is in. :ohnoes:

Yea.... what is the point of being 10th prestige anyway? You get called a booster/hacker almost all the time, it just doesn't seem worth it compared to just being second prestige, or any other prestige. But oh well I guess, I won't say anymore. My friend's and I won another clan match today :grin: For being a not-so-great player, I got the round/game winning match twice \:D/ My friends were like "OMG HE PULLED A CLUTCH!" :lol: Our clan on Gamebattles, if you want to challenge us, although I probably won't play because my teammates don't want me to because I'm not that great :lol:, but still. P.S. we made the clan after a lot of us prestiged, so don't mind the name :twss:

So do you have to constantly wear the staff in order for the special to work? Or could you switch to a different weapon when you use the special.

Yeah, you can just roll a tank in there and destroy it by blowing it up instead of planting explosives. Can't you also just shoot it with RPGs and claymores and stuff? And still destroy it? Maybe that speeds up the detonation process...

This is a thread discussing things about next gen consoles. Will you buy one? What do you want from the PS4/Wiii/Xbox 720? What kind of games do you think will be invented for them? I personally hope there will be virtual reality, put on goggles and you play as the character, kind of thing. Call of duty in 3d? Sweet. Although I will either be too old/dead by the time they invent anything that cool, I still think they will be pretty awesome. What do you think? Will you buy one? What do you want to see? I'm not great at starting topics, but I think you get it :grin:

Probably should've stayed a bit longer :twss: Nah jk :razz: My school goes Kindergarten - 4th = elementary, 5th - 8th middle, and 9th - 12th high school. I'm kind of freaking out, for my FCS class we have to make a 3 minute video on managing time effectively, and my group are people I don't know very well, and aren't friends with, so I have no way to communicate with them, or anything. Also have an Engineering project that is due thursday, and my partner has the same limitations as ^. Also being 17 and can't drive sucks :oops:

Why is it that whenever I use the UAV, the machinegun doesn't work! It worked the very first time I used it, but doesn't anymore. Did DICE change that or something?
