  1. NVM. Things have come up where I won't be able to play :wall:
  2. What will the prizes (if any, just wondering :???: ) be? TET points?
  3. This has happened to my friend while we were playing co-op on a bunch of games. My controller has that battery pack that connects straight to the 360, and his is wireless. He sits about 5 feet from the 360, and still it randomly turns off mid-game. The battery life is always fine, and usually we just switch to another controller, but eventually it happens to that one too. We don't throw controllers or anything (we're generally careful with them). WTF is happening

I grew up with a Sega - Madden 95, Spider-man Carnage - or something like that, and 3 mortal combat games, and a PS1 - Warhawk, !-Jumping Flash-! <-woot!, and a bunch of crash bandicoot games (Crash team racing FTFW!!!). When the PS2 came around - Jak and Daxter (WOOT), Kindgom Hearts (EPIC WOOT), and a few other racing games I can't remember. Good times. Have you played the third one? If not, I bet you will re-gain interest
  5. MY EYES!@!@!!!! wait... that's in my sig... I can't buy this for my computer, so I'm thinking about getting it for the 360. Think I should? I enjoyed the first one quite a bit. Better question: Is it even coming out on the 360? (lol).
  6. I was thinking of posting a funorb section in GenDiscuss a few weeks ago... beat me to it  Great timing too, since I play on Funorb a lot now.
  7. I think if we do Kickabout, we should form teams..... Because I suck at anything but defense  But I voted for Arcanists
  8. Not really human nature, just 13-16 year old nature really. But yes, it makes me lose faith in the world's children. So is this event fun? Worth doing? I might get on just to do it if it is.
  9. Just had a great game of arcanists  Most wands I've ever gotten at once too. The guy in the top right (#1) used oceans fury and killed himself and weakend his ally (#2) and #2's dragon (which he was on), I survived, taking maybe 50 damage total. I use deluge on the dragon and kill it, and by some miracle there was a small hole at the bottom of the map that #2 flew into and died in  My partner died after 2 turns into the game, or sometime close to that. Epic game  (You can see his reaction to flying into the hole in the picture, just under me saying "rofllllll")
  10. I have always wondered why we can't enchant weapons, whether with spells or runes or whatever. Would be cool to set a few fire runes into a weapon to add (maybe) +5 fire damage or something. There would be limits of course, but I still think it would be pretty cool. The name would change if Jagex made them tradeable, say "Dragon Longsword(f)", the f meaning fire enchanted. And why bother rebalancing the weapons? Unless they make a weapon that has like... a 150+ stat bonus, (which people will whine is too overpowered I bet), people will always just use the crush on a zamorakian spear or godsword, stab on the ZS, and slash on the GS and whip. There's no point.
  11. Try doing MEP2 before summoning came out. Was quite a bit harder back then. I enjoyed doing WGS without a guide (did get help from friends who were ahead of me in it though). I like puzzles, (love the professor Layton series :P ), but MEP2 was just a little too much at the time.

If the analog sticks were above the start/select buttons it would probably be pretty nice, otherwise they just look too small to use effectively.
  13. Pretty simple. It's finally here, and frankly, it'll take some getting used to, but I think it looks pretty nice! What do you all think? Post suggestions to make this place feel like home if you want! Etc, etc, blah blah blah. Yea B) Oh wow NEW SMILEYS YESSSS! Although I liked it better with them right next to the topic panel, and not have to push a button to make them pop up, but meh.
  14. OXM did an article on some of the hardest achievements to get... [hide=looong list]#10: Earth Defense Force 2017 - "All stages cleared (inferno)" (300g) - "how long does it take?": 110 hours Nearly impossible until you have over 8000 armor upgrades, which can take over 70 hours. #9: Lego Star Wars - "100%" (100g) - 50+ hours. You need to find 160 gold bricks, 360 mini-kits, and 36 red bricks, beat 20 bounty hunter levels, and every story level atleast three times. #8 Bullet Witch "Hell difficulty mode cleared" (1g) - 8 hours. 1g for beating this crappy game on the hardest difficulty? No thanks. Atleast it didn't take long to get. #7 Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom "Curse of the Developer" (200g) - 200 hours. You need to level all 6 characters up to max. One is hard enough, but all 6? #6 Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War "Book of Engineering" (50g) - 70 hours. This achievement rests solely on your luck. Once you level up every core unit to level 100, there's a CHANCE this mission will appear. If it does, you have to be VERY careful no to fail it or anything. Of course, it might not appear AT ALL. #5 Warriors Orochi 2 "All Difficulties Cleared" (100g) - 300+ hours. This is suicide. You have to beat all 60 missions 5 times each, go through 2200 scenarios, level-up nearly 70 characters to level 99, and earn atleast 2300 Proficiencies. HOLY CRAP. #4Battlefield 2: Modern Combat "Veteran" (50g) - 190 hours. You don't have to actually win 500 matches, you just have to take part in them, but if your connection drops, it doesn't count. #3 Gears of War "Seriously..." (50g) - 170-200 hours. I don't personally see why this is #3... but as many of you know, you need to get 10k kills in multiplayer in order to get this. Since there is no counter to keep track of your progress, it makes it a pain to get. Also, some people say it's glitched, having reported it unlocking at 15k+ kills. #2 Rumble Roses XX "Shop Complete" (250g) - 900-1000 hours. WOW. This game isn't that great, but the fact that alot of the costumes have such horrible criteria for unlocking them make this nearly impossible. (side-note: This made Gamerscore champ STtheKing to quit score-whoring...) #1 Final Fantasy XI "Reach level 75" (30g) - 1000+ hours. The grand-daddy of them all. To level up even just one character to 99 can take up to TWO YEARS, depending on how much no-lifing you do. But for 30g, is it really worth your job, girlfriend, and maybe your legs as well? Only one person, g3n3rik, has a legit 1000 Gamerscore on this game.[/hide] Phew... alot of typing. But one I think they forgot to mention is Halo Wars' achievement "Running the Show" (or something like that). You need to reach General rank, which requires 2.4 million XP. A reader wrote in about this saying he had 313,000 XP. The average game lasts around 25 minutes, which means he has speant 78 hours just to get one-eighth of the way there. That means that this achievement requires atleast 700 hours to get. GF alot of those on the list above. P.S. I couldn't find the article on OXM's official site, but it's in their July issue.
  15. Did they mention something about a Rojas? Why does that sound so familiar... Anyway, THAT LOOKED SICK! I can't WAIT for this game now! The new urban levels with the civilians will add a new layer of difficulty if killing one, or a few, results in an instant-loss. And what a way to interrogate someone... electrical wires... *shivers*
  16. No offense taken :P But how else would I be able to clarify stuff? "Oh hey guys I just heard that WoW is coming to game consoles!@!" There's no proof there, so I use the copypasta plus link because it's just easier to give proof and such :P. Plus I don't generally like starting threads because... I don't know what to say in the OP usually :? but this story and the other one caught my attention.
  17. Link was way too long to post outside of this. This is kind of suprising. Are the world's politics so corrupt that this happens? The second to last paragraph really caught my attention... simply because it's so TRUE.
  18. I found everyone to be pretty funny, especially Gaz. But no, unless Gaz comes back in a coma or something, he's gone for good. You don't get shot point blank in the head and come back to tell the tale in a war-zone. Captain Price still has a chance to come back, since the Russian giving him CPR hit him in the chest a few times, (not the ground), so his heart may have kick-started as you looked away. Griggs could come back I guess. The picture was too blurry for me to see very well, but it didn't look like he got shot in the head, only in the torso/legs a few times. And yea Captain Price gave your squad's orders, but "Baseplate" gave the missions and objectives. Soap will tell you what to do in the field, but he will get his missions from someone else. Please say that in english please
  19. Story was here. So I guess this raises the question, was this really worth it? Would it have been that funny to do this? Plus, why wouldn't they just take the clips out of the gun in the first place? I suppose you all can tell stories of your pranks gone wrong and stuff. But yea.
  20. Heh, yea that's fine. I don't need my name on it (since the symbol is pretty much my name anyway so...). Could I have the highest number there is available? I'd prefer it somewhere near the end.
  21. Your square looks kind of small compared to the standard size... I think Dan's gonna have to stretch yours a bit. Yea that's what I kind of thought when I saw it... Oh well, I can honestly say I suck at any form of drawing that isn't with a pencil :P
  22. Hope this works :? [hide=][/hide] Also, can I reserve the last square?
  23. Wake me up! (or whatever that was :P ): I must say, I agree 110%. Can someone list the major updates this year? Also, I think this has been said before, but has anyone else noticed that since the removal of the BTS, almost all of the updates have had bugs in them? The BTS almost guaranteed a good/great update BECAUSE Jagex had a timeline to get it done. Now, without any real "deadlines", Jagex can just choose to take however long they want on an update, and not have to really work as hard on it to get it done.
  24. I've seen pictures of people using the riot shield and using a pistol. That's what they do in real life anyway, isn't it? Also, I'm betting Captain Price returns, only as a "Baseplate"-ish commander. (The guys who give you your objectives, etc.)
  25. They're making another one of these? How many does that make now, sheesh. I played the first one, it was pretty fun until I broke my PS2 controller getting... err.... stamina? (The little yellow bar that lets you use energy attacks?) I think I played the second one as well, the sorta RPG-ish game? Didn't get far in that because of the major differences from the first.
