The Back Room
I'm going to have to sit this one out, it's exam week in 9 days and I have much studying to do. From now on I am taking every post of mather's and making him say it in the Norwegian Olav voice.

New Pc (Mobo/Case/CPUI)
I'd take the Asrock board over the one you picked, it has all the same features, except it'll allow you to Xfire another 5770 when you want more power in the future. The 5770 will probably come down to about $100 by the end of the year, and buying a second will save money on upgrading your GPUs

Haven & Hearth Thread
There's someone with a Pine tree hat wandering around our village. He asked me if it was my place, said we were neighbors, and resumed going in and out of houses. Any clue who he is? What skill should I work on? I just bought archery, and Im not sure what to do next.

New Pc (Mobo/Case/CPUI)
Get the 2500K over the standard 2500, it's only like $20 more and you will regret not paying the extra. What are you looking for in a motherboard? This one is really nice for the cost, giving you SLI/Xfire support with 3 slot spacing, SATA3 and USB3. It is an ASRock, which has had negative reviews in the past but has turned itself around recently.

Clearing something up about AMD
AMD also gives their chips a higher base clock, which leaves less room for overclocking. The new sandy beach i7 and i5 K processors are beast, and easily OC to 4-5Ghz on a good heatsink. Ivy bridge is going to be [bleep]ing awesome. I personally am an intel person, it just bothers me when people go around saying AMD's are bad quality or AMD is a bad brand.

Clearing something up about AMD
I agree fully with that. Intel's higher end processors, especially the new i7 2600K, are far better than the Hex and Quad core processors from AMD. As for graphics, I have a single GTX 460 and have yet to see it stutter on any game on a 1920x1080 monitor. I run SCII maxed with 4x AA, and can get away with 8x on most modes except 3v3. It probably wouldn't manage crysis on max, but I honestly never found that game much fun anyways.

You can deauthorize all computers from your account, and then just reauthorize the one you are using.

Clearing something up about AMD
AMD processors are NOT of a lower quality. There are some people here who seem to believe this, but it is simply not true. CPUs in general have very low fail rates due to the testing they go through, and I have never seen one article stating AMDs fail more often. As to which processor is better, it really depends on your preferences and needs. I personally find that for sub $150 processors and general non gaming builds, AMD preforms better for the price, but once you hit about $150 for the processor or want a gaming rig, Intel preforms better due to the high clocks on the i3 processors and Turboboost on the i5 processors, which allow games, which tend to be single or dual threaded, to preform better. This is just my opinion and either way, your gaming performance will probably be bottlenecked by your graphics card unless you spend over $300 on graphics cards. Please stop spreading blatant lies about AMD, it just makes you look uninformed and confuses people with less tech knowledge.

New Pc (Mobo/Case/CPUI)
The new core i5 K processor overclocks to 5Ghz on air, so with a decent heatsink you should easily be able to hit a stable 4Ghz no problem. Apple just dropped core2 last year, and still sell computers with Ati 4xxx cards in them. I'd hardly say they stay current with technology. The main reason for 64bit is 4+ GB of RAM, but there is no reason to purchase a 32bit OS unless you need to run one of the few programs that won't run in 64bit.

Going on to level a bit now. Started my house, it's the new log cabin in the southern part of the village. I still need a bone saw, and I'd like a few seed to start a farm.

^ Not what I meant. I don't see why it is necessary to create a separate law for it, as opposed to just lumping it in with porn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrzQcZ73oX0 Does anyone else here listen to rap?
