They already have tried cars that take breath analyzer tests, some even used fingerprints on the steering wheel to detect if a persons alcohol level was above 0.02%. I could probably find the link if you'd like.
  2. Eh, take your pick. Single celled organisms, high flying UFO's, or otherwise intelligent life. I'm pretty skeptical about ghosts and zombies, but aliens, yeah. And didn't Steven Hawking say something along those lines, where there are to many galaxies for there not to be aliens?
  3. I'm guessing it's like 55k-65k an hour maybe? Just take: (13,034,431-Exp now)/Exp an hour
  4. I'm pretty sure you get the experience. That's be pretty pwnage xp... But I'm sure the Titan's defence is pretty good, and even then, the experience would be nullified by the randomness of the effect. That and the food wasted. :P
  5. But that method is like 100k+ an hour. If you can make 200k+ an hour, there's no point in making junk. :|
  6. Yeah, like others have said, Yews are probably your best bet at the moment.
  7. I'm pretty sure you get the experience.

Harm reduction - "...A social policy which prioritizes the aim of decreasing the negative effects of drug use..." (Newcombe 1992, p. 1) So basically it refers to strategies, interventions, or policies by which the principles of harm minimization are implemented. An example... When you said the age should be 21+. I should get more up to date books :( Have cars that automatically test for drug use, and won't allow you to drive if under the influence?
  9. I didn't think that Paranormal Experiences covered it all. But woops, never even saw it. Sorry if it's already a topic.
  10. Everything gets old after awhile. But I have seen a decrease in the number or people on certain worlds. Like it's easier to get to W2, 18, etc. And now that you mention it, I'm getting kind of bored myself, which is why I spend less and less time on it each day.
  11. The title really says it all. My little brother still believes in ghosts. It got so extreme, we had to get bottle of holy water, and douse out his room. Guess it worked though!
  12. Aww....Carl, you make me sooo jealous. My dog, has to be locked in a kennel for maybe, two months? :( And I think I have two cats, not really sure at the moment. :?

I was only talking about motor accidents related to alcohol. Pot has been known to cause slowed reaction time, flawed vision, immense giggliying and silliness for no reason, harder to distinguish sounds, the munchies, etc. Now let's picture the thousands of partyers that don't have a designated drivers, and decide to drive home. Not something I'd like on my roads. While maybe, on a lesser scale than alcohol, and millions being possibly exaggerated, it still has the possibility, which is again, not something I'd like on my roads.
  14. Sorry mate, but with your post count, slayer, and runecrafting level, it'll be hard to a spriter to take your offer. Sorry, but good luck!

Of course it doesn't kill millions a day. It's not legalized, nor in wide spread use. Look at alcohol consumption and driving, kills an estimated 1.8 million people each year. It doesn't take a rocket science to figure out that the same, or to some extreme, happen with pot, if made legal. Anything can be dangerous, but not everything can kill upwards of millions a year.
  16. I don't think people are quite used to the idea of 126 not being the ultimate combat. Which is part of the reason Summoning is looked down upon. But yeah, I get the same problems. People laugh when they see my combat stats, then my combat level. None are in the 90's, and I'm a level 118. then I see these level 107's in an attack cape. *sigh*
  17. I hope so, just so I can see the "new update against people with less rl money" thread die.
  18. I have a Temper Pedic, Swedish matress and get 10 hours of sleep at night! I have a towel and get 2 hours of sleep. I feel asleep at BH last night! ZOMG! Jagex is against people sleeping on towels! I seriously don't see the issue here. Buy a better graphics card for like $50, or deal with the fact that you don't have as many squares as the average joe. :?

Why use the fact that it's illegal as a method of showing how "bad" it is? It will only make the conversation go in a circle. I was simply stating that there are other legal alternatives. That makes it the person's fault because they were driving the car under the influence - not the drug. It's like stabbing someone with a pair of scissors. Is it the scissors' fault for being so pointy - or the person's fault for being violent in the first place? Exactly, but it all could have been prevented if the drug came with severe consequences as it does now. I never implied that it was the drugs fault. Sorry if it seemed like that lol. But the fact that video games don't kill millions of people a year makes me wonder...how is that flawed? Nearly everything has consequences. No, make that everything. But what is the point to make some drug legal at the cost of thousands of people dying. Millions lost in money efforts-possibly over the amount that taxation would bring in.

I was using the terms "kid" and "teens" quite loosely. I can change them if you want. :?

You can make it look that way, sure, anyone can. But when you bring other human lives into the picture, millions of dollars towards drug withdrawn victims, thousands more spent going towards police equipment, more officers...I can go on if you want. Is it really worth it for some kids to feel good? When there are other, legal alternatives? Freak accident, sure. But let's pretend we bring this to court. Would the parent of sports victim press charges? Maybe, would she win? Doubtfully. Imagine now, you taking a puff of MJ, and decide to step into the car. Because you have blurred vision, slow reaction time, and such, and killed a person. Who's fault does it become now? Eh? You can prevent that possibility by not smoking. Can you prevent accidents? Well, sure, but you will always have accidents.

But sports is physical activity. Needless to say, this world today needs that. Video games can't harm people unintentionally, so I'm not sure why you're comparing that. When you smoke weed, take other drugs, etc, you can harm other people. While sports can offer physical activity, to build muscle. While you don't need sports, you do need at least some muscle mass. Steroids and such are all illegal, and yet people still take them. Which only furthers my point of the DUI's. In my eyes, there's nothing wrong with marijuana, if all's it did was make you feel good. Unfortunately that's not all it does. There's cons to everything, but when you start taking thousands, if not millions of innocent lives, people choosing not to take the drug, dying, just for the sake of a few teens the freedom to light up a joint. Can you break your arm, leg, or even become paralyzed when smoking? And what is the point you're getting at? You're just saying you don't like my approach rather than countering anything directly. Are you saying you can't? :?

Useless? When did I say it was "useless"? Recreationally, yes, I think it is actually. Hemp was also grown for rope, clothes, and even early forms of paper. What we are talking about now is its recreational purposes.

I've heard of it, but have never heard of THC being prescribed to help people cope with the pain. While it would stimulate the CNS, it could possibly reduce the pain, but there are better and healthy alternatives.
  25. Laura replied to user1991's topic in Off-Topic
Yes, I have heard of it. But you don't get it from eating just a serving of junk food. That's seriously pushing it. -.- Pretty much. Exactly, so most of them already consume alcohol. Ever taken diet coke and mentos? Now try it alcohol and marijuana. They have extremely strict laws sure, but that doesn't stop 1.8 million people dying, in just a year caused by alcoholic related motor accidents. Make marijuana legal, and that number rises exponentially. I couldn't agree more. And this whole "make marijuana legal" thing is so off topic. Sigh... -.-
