Change rune to barrows. (it's worth it, by far... and void sucks) Rune kite to rune defender. Black cape to obsidian cape. Amulet of power to amulet of glory. Whip = good. Mith boots to dragon boots. Safety gloves to either the best rfd gloves you can get, or FoG gauntlets. (I'm not going to see if you have requirements for Recipe for Disaster because I'm too lazy.) Everything I've listed is far superior to what you have... and that should be a good enough reason. :razz:

Teaks are still the fastest, but people are too lazy/whiny to chop them. 1. Teaks. 2. Sawmill.

I can't really give accurate times or a rundown (because I don't know, and I'm at school), but you should use world 6. Also, before I started playing, I was kind of scared because it looked complicated and hard to learn. Shortly after starting, I ended up dumping a week of my life into it. Now, it's my favorite minigame in all of Runescape. For optimum conditions, find a good team (of friends or TIFers) to play with. I'm sure you can find some people who would happily join you. I, for one, gladly volunteer. (after school) :razz:

This. Woodcutting and runecrafting... <3: I remember dying with about 1k mind and air runes to the dark wizards south of Varrock... I almost quit because of it. I also almost quit because I lost a rune scimmy and kite in the wilderness because a pker decided to mess with me and a few friends when we were fishing at the wildy fishing spots. My friends got away, but I died. :cry:

This could be very much the case. :thumbup: OT: No. You'll never be able to cut maples at the speed you cut oaks. They'll get faster (if I'm not mistaken), but it won't be a huge difference.

SC hammers only take 20 minutes if you play on a themed world. If you get a good clan, you can get one every 10-12 minutes. Even bad clans can finish a game in 15...

I can see that. I cut oaks with my auto-bank ability after downing an evil tree. I generally end up with 4-5 nests in 30 minutes.

It means 'leet' or elite. It's a reference to pro gear. And it's alright to hijack - it was dead, anyway.

Altering your setup = putting on black d'hide and getting leaf bladed sword. (and possibly b2p tabs) Duradel gives muuuuch more annoying tasks.

Is there any effective way to train Magic through combat that doesn't involve breaking open my piggy bank? I'd love a way to break even or profit (without spending more than 2m). If it doesn't exist, let me know; I just need to get my magic up.

That's a reason I'm looking to train it. It's a skill that's dying for an update, and I want to be able to benefit from it when it happens. Also, I want to be able to make class 5 tools in stealing creation. :razz:

What are efficient methods for getting smithing from 70 to 80? I would like to lose as little as possible, while not making cannonballs- and I am willing to get stealing creation hammers. I'd just like some good ideas; it's been a while since I've seriously trained smithing. :smile:

This was exactly one hour of chopping teaks (in the Tai Bwo Wannai tree area) and dropping via mousekeys; clad in lumberjack clothing, flame gloves, and ring; and wielding with the inferno adze: Starting Exp: Woodcutting = 13,086,184 Firemaking = 6,558,618 Ending Exp: Woodcutting = 13,168,319 Firemaking = 6,589,915 Totals (for those with a grudge against calculators): Woodcutting = 82,135 Firemaking = 31,297 I didn't boost my level by any means, including skillcape, familiar, or otherwise. And just for the sake of being thorough, I have 99 woodcutting. If I missed anything, or you have any questions, feel free to let me know. I'll provide more data whenever I have free time. :smile:

So, I'm going to do exactly what you said not to, and say that I believe that I got over 100k exp at teaks when I was grinding for 99. (With D axe, lumberjack, and wicked skills with mousekeys) But, I'll make it up to you. I'll go test it, and report back when I'm done. :thumbup: I might have been hallucinating... I was pretty heavily medicated. But I'll get solid results before I proceed. (I am itching to use my adze... which I just got yesterday.) :grin:
