Does anybody else hate the fact that you can only collect 10 of these at a time...? :angry:

I WAS excited about this update, until I realized that the item is actually kept in the inventory. :???: I thought, at first, that the item (ie. logs) would be put in the urns, and teleported away for exp. A material item for exp trade. You're losing the monetary benefit of the item for extra exp. It would open a whole new world for people like me - powertrainers. This way, it's kind of a pain in the ass. I don't want to have to keep going back to a bank for more urns; I want to fill my inventory up with them, find a secluded spot far from a bank, and powertrain until they're gone... I'm unimpressed with the update, is all. (inb4 skills are easy enough, old days were best because they were hard, yadda yadda)

Does the Salve Amulet work on the Broodoo Victims? I don't know why I haven't wondered this before now, honestly... (Tai Bwo Cleanup = best stress reliever I've ever found) :thumbsup:

I meant MAKING supercompost (via the watermelons I grow). :-P I keep lilies planted because I loathe having diseased watermelons. :cry: (more thanks for the replies) :thumbup:

You can buy Plant cures for 25 gp from the farmers who offer to watch your allotment patches. You don't have to run to the nearest Farming shop. :P You... just blew my mind. I never knew that. :D I'll look into it, I guess. Thanks for the info. :thumbup:

What I'm looking for is advice or recommended changes, etc on my farming setup. Any advice or changes would be welcome, just looking for different opinions. (Please don't recommend getting ardy cape, I'm way too lazy) Growing watermelons and cadantine (farming level 70 as of this post), and I do supercompost with watermelons, and note the rest (which is why there are 15 slots open... laziness again.) Side question - how do I add the Troll Stronghold herb patch to my runs without messing up my setup too much? Please and thank you. :thumbup:

I'm almost certain you missed my point. There's no profanity filter at a mall, nor is there one in public schools. Sure, teachers will punish you if you curse, but most middle/high schoolers know how to curse without a teacher hearing it. Been there, done that. If I'm sitting with a group of my peers in public, profanity will most likely be involved by SOMEONE. How often will an adult care if a kid accidentally heard them say something vulgar to another adult? Rarely. It's no different if I'm in a group of my peers in a video game. I'm going to communicate like I do in real life. If someone hears it and gets offended, it's their fault for not using the filter. The default for the filter is ON. If you cut it off, there's a high chance you know what you're getting yourself into. Your point? There are racists and sexists in the real world, but you don't cry to the government for not putting them in front of a firing squad for having opinions, do you? I'm not saying it's right, but everybody is entitled to an opinion. There is no elephant in this room, just oversensitive people who get gratification from whining. "Gay looking" implies that "gay" is derogatory. Context or no, hate is hate. Read what you type, for the love of my sanity... You are my hero. Back to the point, nothing has changed. You can continue to play with your filter on, not hearing anything anybody says, or still hearing the racist/derogatory comments you heard before. Report what you used to report. What used to be offensive is still offensive. However, if you cut your filter OFF, anything that WOULD have been starred out is not a reason for a report. I'm FAIRLY certain that's what was implied with the update. Impressionable minds are going to run into bad language/racism/whatever. It's part of life. It's also a PARENT's job to make sure their kids aren't exposed to it. Jagex can't be held responsible for a parent's shortcomings. Don't want your kid being exposed to reality, don't let them play Runescape. It's as simple as that. EDIT ...you are digging yourself into a hole.

When I was f2p, fist of guthix saved me.

I think my max is somewhere in the neighborhood of six days. I'd go to school, and come home and play runescape until it was time to go back to school. After three days, I went into zombie mode and started zoning out all the time. It's a good thing I don't do that anymore, though, because after a day of staying awake, mailboxes start to look like deer when I'm driving. :ohnoes:

Fast SC is just annoying. Not intending to bash, but every time I use Fast SC, somebody breaks the rules, and the mods just turn a blind eye. There was a guy who repeatedly pickepocketed my harpoon in the early stages of the game, so I reported him. The mod's response was "just get another." (But they will not hesitate to label you a pker and boot you if you forget to wield a bow...) They're not even fast, with the average game lasting around 16 minutes. <_< [/rant] Back on topic, SC Asap is a good one. Nice people, calm environment, not many rule breakers. Downside is that it's a small group of people, and they're only on at particular times during the day. Well worth it in my opinion.

Using them on every task generally speeds it up considerably, and more often than not the drops negate the cost of the potions. Edit: I seemed to have read it to fast. As D Jay said, def pots aren't needed most of the time. Strength and attack pots, however, should be used for increased efficiency. :thumbup:

Actually its 15%, but yeah, it is always in the same price range. Even if it loses 2m in value, the money you make mining can make it back. I was getting like 35k xp/hr, which translates to 700 ores/hr. Thats without lava titan, but with dragon pickaxe. Niiice. That's what I was looking for.
