I'm so excited for the Vyre quest. Its my second favorite series to the WGS series (if they ever make a sequel <_< ).

Good luck mate! :thumbup: I remember attempting many an engine like the one you just described and failing. I kept getting the core somewhat working and then realizing my design was so horrible I would have enourmous problems adding anything too it without it becoming a mess. A tip, design the class hierarchy in your head and write some simple game 'client' code around it to see how you like the feel. If it feels awkward chances are your design is faulty. Also, lua has horrible support (at least I think so, you may find differing oppinons) for collections (list's etc.) so be aware of that. Hopefully you won't fall into the same trap I did...

Woot! A fellow runescaper that also plays Starcraft 2! Pity I'm on the north american servers (Canadian), I liked the SC:BW setup better, I could go get pwned on the korean servers if I wanted to, now I have to buy a whole new game to use a different continent's server. <_< Currently rank 47 platinum zerg, but I also play some protoss and terran. Gratz on starting a bolg and good luck on maintaining it. I tried doing a blogscape one once, it died.

It's nice that you blog so regularly, but using all bold text hurts the eyes... maybe just use regular text?

I agree with Ts_Stormrage on account sharing, I have never done it and never will. My achievements (mediocre though they are <_< ) would all feel cheap if I knew someone else had been accessing my account. Reading about old bugs is cool too, and has got to be the longest running repetitive article yet. No?

Gratz, that quest is the gateway to (imho) one of the best (and still unfinished <_< ) storylines in the game. 10/10 Because any quest achievement is better than another 99 cooking thread.
