It's a non anti-aliased sprite against a heavily complex background, with no blending.

It depends on the context of the scene. It might work, for example you might resize the planet and it looks fine in the end.

Yea I was thinking you would say that lol. I'm assuming since your planet has water/atmosphere/clouds etc that it is based upon Earth's processes. Land is formed from the hardened magma beneath the crust, which wouldn't spill out and form small sparsly populated landmass. It would have more of a shape to it with denser clusters. Although technically possible, I think unrealistic.

I think the land is a bit scattered, it doesn't look realistic in my opinion. I still like it though, the finished piece should be the sex.

I still need to work on the light shining through the cracks. I think once I've done that, then it will be pretty much perfect without having to totally change the image. Can people help me with this?

Thanks for suggestions, Heartz_Mage, I'll take them into account. @Mico: I think I've seen that before, it is awesome, I agree. The thing is my signature is small and it would be hard to get that level of detail in. It's already quite hectic around the collison, and there's alot of white, which I would prefer to keep.

I think I've got it now. I was reluctant to open the firefox documents at first, since I thought the tut would be an image. Guess not. It looks pretty good so far, thanks for the link.

I'm pretty sure it would be almost impossible to do that. :( Too many frames, it's already like 380kb, down to tip.it requirements won't exactly help it.

Messed around with the meteor belt- V2.2 What do you guys think? I didn't want to make it white as it wouldn't show up, so I went for a muddy type of shockwave, as in the dust and crap from the planets getting blasted out.

Lol, I kept getting fooled by that when I was working on it, I kept hitting CTRL+D (deselect). I still want there to be a meteor ring around the impact, any suggestions on how to improve?

Should be working now. @Nadril: I can't seem to locate the tutorial- the full view isn't it and I downloaded it and there were just some firefox documents. I'd really like to see it.
