Don't worry about text. Almost everyone sucks at it, even some professionals. It's deceptively hard to get right, when you think it's probably one of the easier elements to a picture. I think the text in this one is pretty good though. Perhaps make the left side of the 'A' slightly less transparent, only slightly though.

Nah, there aren't the settings available for transparency in Paint.

If you're using Photoshop, there's a preview of what it looks like before you save. The transparent part will be the white/grey squares, or whatever you set the canvas as.

png and jpg do, look at my signature, the sprite one. My mistake on .png, but .jpg doesn't. I opened your signature in Photoshop and it wasn't rounded at the corners but square like normal. :?

The .gif extension supports transparency, whereas .jgep, .png etc don't.

Edit out the basketball net, it would look just as good without it. Not bad, but can use some improvements.

I think this is a more eloquent representation. The poogs, the ones you made in paint (I think), work on the art more- it's just base colours and simple shading right now.

If you're going for epic, then Stairway to Heaven probably wins. One by Metallica also fits.

Club Foot by Kasabian - It's an ok song, but alot of action sequences, especially in games, use it to overkill. The song used for the opening sequence for the first Austin Powers film, also.

I wouldn't depend on them to keep you alert for long periods. They're fine occasionally, but try changing your diet to provide you with extra vitamins etc, that's more healthy and practical.

So you found a buddy kit and used it to make these characters? That doesn't count as your art, because you didn't design the buddy's, just placed them together.

Nothing you can really do, but the render looks pretty low quality. :( The font suits the image, though, which is good. Nice composition of characters. Stylish border. Perhaps you can edit the image so parts of the 3d render come between the characters, to give a sense of depth. That would look pretty cool.

Six puppies out of ten. Blend the sky and make the sun bigger. I think you've used the spray can tool reasonably well, as opposed to what we usually see.

May I note that the second example at the end, the first original image is 170kb, down to 14. Not bad, eh? Photoshop ftw.

Use the Clone Tool, it's probably better, as it duplicates the selected area, making the cloned area look more natural and with much less effort. Also, this should be in the questions thread.

That's not good syntax. Perhaps use the clone-tool to cover it up, rather than masking it with more pixels. It looks alot more intense, which I like.

Get an eye test then? And maybe a grammar one too? :D I assume the lens flare on the right was put in by you, either way I suggest removing it, as it distracts the eye. I like the pattern on the left, it looks like the rainbow colours you get when petrol oil mixes with water.

It's obviously a .jpg, you can see the quality has been screwed over. A tip for you, don't try to fit everything in the picture. Don't sacrifice proportion for the sake of clarity, usually.

Is that Kerry King from Slayer? Blending the render doesn't nessecarily mean lowering the opacity so it mixes with the background.
