Paint isn't really a point and create a half decent background program. It is very labour intensive if you want to create nice things. Should be in questions anyway.

I don't think that's the attitude to take. Just because you got some negative criticism. Don't take it offensively and personally, everyone here is trying to help you improve. The ones that aren't get alot of stick and get banned. The best thing you can do is take the advice and keep improving.

Well you can get free picture animators- i.e. ones that will animate the pictures you give it into one animation .gif file. Anything more complicated like fading and other effects you will need a more sophisticated program like Adobe Imageready or Flash.

Saving an image as a .jpeg doesn't automatically ruin it... When set to 100% quality it's no different than a .png, and it's very useful as .jpeg is one of the most widely supported file extensions.

Well there's probably no intense light source coming from behind the planet, and the nebula is very bright, so it casts uber high-key lighting upon the planet, causing very deep shadows in the unlit areas.

Well a post-surrealist vector fantasy signature wouldn't be complete without the ol' corporate arches. I reckon they paid him to endorse them. :-$

I would absolutely you if you did a small tutorial on this, by the way. I'd love to learn how to make a vector sig like that, right now I can't use Illustrator for muffins.

Journey* :oops: I like it, good sense of depth. Although I think the foremost planet could have a different shadow. Right now, it's cresent shaped, it shouldn't be as thin towards the top edges, if you understand that.

The tongue piercing is also known as 'the suicide piercing' because if it's done wrong, the pain can be so excrutiating that it actually makes you want to kill yourself, and I'm not making this up there are real news stories about it.

Good lighting. :D Perhaps shave a few pixels off the outside of the thumb? It looks a bit strange right now. Also the nose is pretty big.

Definitely not true. The signature is simple, look into some more complex techniques and designs.

It looks nice, although you sharpened it too much, it looks pixelated and ugly.

I know you're not advised to post something you're not happy with, but I need some help. I know it's flawed and not reaching its potential.
