  1. I used to like Dane Cook, not anymore though, I've realised how bad he actually is. Stand up comedy is a passion of mine, I love watching a good stand up comedian like Billy Connolley at work, seeing the crowd hanging on his every word. I posted earlier, but I don't care I'll post it again: Andrew Dice Clay, he's the worst comedian on the planet, without a shadow of a doubt.
  2. Remember obviously that RAM is only good up to a point, it's overkill to load your mobo with 32GB RAM when your pc will only ever need 5-6GB of it maximum.
  3. Link us to your site. As for backgrounds, depending on the forum software, a small bit of code can easily fix that.
  4. Are you seriously that picky? like my god.. Are you actually serious? Wow...
  5. I sort of agree with you, MrShinyredplanet. I truly fantastic signature is something which is just on another level of design and detail. The best pictures I've seen come from a journalist or photographer who was in the right place at the right time, for example, the self-immolation of the Buddhist monk. That picture is incredibly powerful, but it has little to do with the skill of the photographer, most people could have taken that shot, it would still be as emotive. Same goes for the student stood in the way of the tanks, the vulture watching the dying African child, and many others. I know people will disagree with me, but my personal opinion is that art, in the sense of paintings etc, including signatures and digital paintings, takes more skill than photography overall.
  6. I think you need more talent to make a half decent signature than to take a half decent photograph.
  7. Nothing you could really do about it at the time, but the mark on the floor in the foreground and the smudge on the condensation in the glass behind the person are quite distracting. Overall though it's a nice picture, follows the rule of thirds nicely, too.
  8. There's no Toucan there... :uhh:
  9. The '800' part is the data transfers per second. In this case, 800 million. Spending a bit more and purchasing a DDR2-1066 stick (1066 million, I.E. 1 billion+ per second) will also increase your RAM effectiveness.
  10. Incorrect Incorrect Point a camera at something and press a button? Incorrect The last time someone was this wrong, was when Mr. Goldstein in 1939 said, 'Hey there's a Nazi over there, let's go say hello?' Lots of us, and by your tone in that whole post, you sounded like a complete kiss-[wagon], verily.
  11. Making money from art doesn't mean much. People pay millions for Damien Hirst's drivel, he's the smart one for making them believe it's art. Van Gogh and lots of other artists' paintings were worth hardly anything when they were alive trying to sell them, and they certainly aren't bad artists. Really, selling art just means whoever paid for it is stupid enough to buy it, or they realise it's good and want to pay for it. Either way, you've made a profit and they've bought something. Art is judged by others, and don't you dare say that people in the Gallery can't tell you your work sucks because they haven't made any money from theirs, or you deem them too amateurish.
  12. This is where you went wrong.
  13. Actually if you play RuneScape you are worshipping false idols (Guthix, Zamorak, Saradomin etc). I believe that is in the ten commandments (I assume you're Christian.)

  16. This forum is only for RuneScape related rants, not forum ones. Locked, Pryomancer.

Wasted time is when I do something that turns out to be futile.
  18. There's no reason to do this. Forum rants will either be about people, which isn't allowed. Or about the forum itself, in which case it can be turned into an improvement suggestion and posted here.
  19. Since like 2000, a long time now.
  20. I haven't read the last one, but the first few books are nowhere near as dark as the later ones, which I preferred.
  21. Wine is probably too dry for you if you're not used to it. Try a sweet wine made from hips (rose hips) if you can find some. My grandad made some, it's brilliant.
  22. You aren't supposed to trace it, you use the picture as a reference and make the lines yourself, by eye. Cartoon characters are fine to start off with, they're simple lines anyway. Try vectorising a photograph in the future, it's much more challenging.

I just grab the first t-shirt I find in my wardrobe, and a pair of jeans from the floor. I don't really care about my appearance, I have no reason to. If I'm going out/interview etc, then I will.
  24. :P It was all in the error description anyway, just read them and they should tell you how to fix it.
