  1. oh well..thanks for that...will have to drop them by where I die so I can find them easily enough if the situation ever arises.
  2. I wonder about this myself as pouches were lost on death no matter what, even if they were the only 3 things you were carrying ...does anyone know if the new gravestones allow you to keep pouches, or do you still have to drop them before you die in order to save them?
  3. I use a d long just because I haven't done Monkey Madness yet so can't use the scimmy ...people I know with the same lvl as me hit higher with the scimmy though ...plus it's faster than the long ....I also have a dds (p++) and it's great for higher lvl monsters to knock them off quicker
  4. It's just before where you talk to the man for the Rag and Bone quest...so if you can't find it ...check a quest guide for this guys location ...it's closer to Varrock than Canifis
  5. I'm actually a mom ...lol! I would not advise doing anything behind your parents back, because when they find out (you know we always find out) it will make matters worse.
  6. Yes you have to do the barcrawl, although it doesn't take long to run to all the bars and drink...an I believe you need 35 agility to go through the tube to the course. edit...just checked..confirmed lvl 35 for Barbarian course.
  7. How computer literate are your parents, and how much on-line experience do they have? I am a parent of 2 boys, and we all play. My older son and I are members, my younger son is just not into it enough to warrant a membership, but would get it for him if he played more. But anyway, I find a lot of my friends, since we did not grow up with computers and the internet, are not into computers, don't understand the whole attraction, and frankly are afraid of the internet. With all the stories you hear of on-line predators and identity theft, many people just prefer to avoid the whole problem. My advice to you as a parent, is try to have a rational, mature conversation about why they won't let you be a member. Find out what there true concerns are and then try to find information to educate them or support your position. Let them read the Runescape home page so they know what it's all about. Whatever you do, don't cop an attitude with them, remain calm and try to offer counter arguments to their concerns. If they are concerned about grades, make an agreement where if you don't keep your grades up they cancel, offer to make a limit on yourself to only play a certain amoumt each day if time permits. If they see you are trying to be mature, and really want this, maybe they will give it a try. Don't whine, don't beg, DO NOT get an attititude....we parents hate that ....just try to be rational and maintain your cool even if they so no at first. If you have any friends that are members, maybe they could talk to their parents. Now I say this not knowing you at all ...you have to take a look at yourself as well....do you get good grades? do your chores? are you respectful to your parents? stay out of trouble? Do you whine and throw fits when you don't get your way? You don't have to answer here ...answer yourself honestly ...maybe some of the reason lies with you?
  8. You can also go to Brimhaven untill you can get into the Barbarian agility course. I did that at around 22 agility because I was so sick of the Gnome course I wanted to commit gnomicide. At Brimhaven you won't be able to do all the obstacles (check out tip it guide to see which ones you can do), you will fail obstacles so bring some cake, but I found it more fun than the gnome course, and managed to get some tickets for extra agility points. As soon as I got to 35 I went to Barbarian course to get to 40 that I needed, although I don't remember why I needed it, and haven't trained agility since.
  9. I grew an apple tree so I can pick them when I need them.
  10. Yep. it's an emerald ring ...I just logged on to an f2p server and a ring of dueling is a members object, so you can't use them in f2p worlds...might be something to suggest on RSOF , maybe they didn't even think of it
  11. he said revenants can att you and they hit harder than players, ice you tb you etc Revenants don't appear to come below lvl 20 wildy anyways...no need for one click tele anymore that's what I thought about revenants, but was killing green dragons in western wild ...so they are about lvl 14 or 16 wild....definitely below 20 ...and was getting hit by revs ...not sure which as all I saw was the spells hitting me for 20's ...took the hides I had and left
  12. no you don't have to do a quest ...if you want to get one in the GE, it is just called a robe top ...just make sure you get a blue one by the picture.
  13. I have to agree ...until recently I totally avoided the wild because I had no desire to be pk'd. Recently I have been getting a lot of lvl 3 clues with coords in the wild so I finally got up the nerve to venture into the wild to reap the rewards. I learned to avoid pk'ers and mostly do clues at off peak times when not too many people were on-line. With the new reverant beasts there is no off-peak time....they are always there. I realize the wild is supposed to be dangerous, etc., etc. ...but these beasts are a little extreme. When I see videos of high levels, with good armor getting killed, what chance does a treasure hunter have? I usually only bring what I need to do the clue and enough food or usually just a prayer pot to kill the dude who pops up. Now I am re-thinking doing wildy clues again, and for those who venture in the wild on a regular basis to mine rune and kill green dragons I'm sure they are a real nuisance. I would rather take my chances with pk'ers, at least some of them have an honor code to leave rc'ers, treasure hunters, and miners alone. edit...midread title...thought you meant drop , as in get rid of them...duh #-o
  14. thanks for that...you just laid my fears to rest ...lvl 3 clues are the only reason I go to the wildy, and from the vids I've seen of these new creatures I was about to give up treasure hunting ...good to know old pk'er avoidance techniques will work.
  15. Last time I checked, chickens were birds Well I have no eggs from nests, so guess I should go train the dreaded woodcutting and see if I can get some.
  16. If you take the fairy ring to Karamja ....code ckr...the same one that is close to the nature altar ...there are about 5 or 6 hobgoblins just north of the ring ...these drop trading sticks quite often when you kill them.
  17. I did it at 65 combat and only in the 20's ...I think 24 farming...you should have no problem at all :D
  18. Don't forget Priest in Peril for access to Canifis, Morton, Port Phatymas...the whole eastern side of the map, as well as Ghosts Ahoy for the Ectophial teleport
  19. :-k hmmm...now trying to remember my last task...could of sworn bloodvelds, but guess not if they don't drop clues ...omg...my brain is fried :ohnoes: edit: the old brain takes a little longer than it used to, but I remember from the rewards...it was pyrefiends because they were lvl 2 clues
  20. 5th out of 27 :D better than I thought it was going to be
  21. Just wondering if anybody has noticed a frequency in clue scroll drops lately. My last slayer task was 126 or so bloodvelds and I received 3 scrolls while doing it, then I was thieving in Ardougne, got a clue on the second guard I killed. My current slayer task is 158 Turoths, I have already received 3 clue drops from these guys and have just over 100 left to kill.7 clues in the last 4 days  I am not complaining at all, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or am I just having a good run of luck?
  22. I must be abit behind...what article? There is a link in the first post of this thread
  23. I have 1 from a nest I got cutting oaks outside of Varrock just to make some oak planks ....had never even heard of a spirit tree when I got it
  24. I go to the fairy ring abyss...and it has never taken longer than 10 minutes to get a pouch, and that is just killing the abyssal leech that is just to the SW of the ring over and over. I don't even bother getting pouches repaired, I usually drop them and get new ones. Oh...and I don't wear ROW ( for some reason it seems to have opposite effect when worn by me)
  25. Pros: great way to buy things without having to waste time. Great for obscure items needed for quests and clue scrolls which sometimes take a while to buy or make otherwise. Cons: the price range is too narrow, and some of the prices are just off. The people at the GE yelling "Selling x of item in GE", it's not like we can choose who we buy from, so who cares what you have in there.
