With the market price guides currently available on fansites, I think they should have been a lot more accurate to begin with. We shouldn't be waiting for the prices of commonly bought and sold items to "stabilize" ..they already were stable before the GE

I have RS dreams all the time ...probably because it's usually the last thing I do before I go to bed (play while I watch tv) ...nothing dramamtic usually ....just normal game play ...alot of rc'ing ...but once I had a dream that I became a slayer master and people had to find me in game to get a new task :lol:

Yes, it does. In fact, that's the only reason things aren't selling -- Jagex has controlled prices. Are you taking the piss? Stop stating things as fact when there is no proof to support said claims, THAT IS CHILDISH. Here are 2 examples of items I have had up since the update GE started Nature talisman ...usually I have no problem selling these for 8-10k a piece ...the lowest price the exchange will allow is 12,445 ea ...It would be great if someone would pay that much, but I'm not holding my breath Bowstrings ...the highest price that the exchange will allow is 184 gp a piece ...I can't remember the last time I sold bs for less than 200 ea, and flax the max is 90 ea.....going rate in seers bank was 100 ea before this update. But, it seems that Jagex is updating these as we speak ...when the GE first started my son checked price on rune boots ....they were a laughable 181,000 gp ...I just rechecked and max price is now 94,500 ...so maybe they are correcting prices ...it just seems to me that all Jagex had to do if they wanted to have a price range was check any fansite with a price guide to figure current market price of these items

Been waiting for this ....I am not one to stand around trying to buy and sell stuff .....so this should make cleaning my bank much easier ...so many potions....so many sets of full black from treasure trails ....hope this is as good as it sounds.

what if you have 2 people in the same house that play? My son and I both play, have 2 separate accounts, but sometimes play at the same time from the same IP address ...hmm ...never thought about it being illegal :ohnoes:

You can buy pineapples from Arhein ( the shop guy) in Catherby and then run them to the allotments and drop them in the compost bin ....rinse and repeat until full ...I think he will sell you 25 a day, although I wouldn't swear to that and they are 2 coins each.

definitely start it ...I started it just for access to rings ..have yet to finish the quest but have never looked back. Just the time it has saved me going to slayer dungeon was worth it.

Yep...same thing happened to me because I tried to range it and was only about 20 range at the time, so it took too long, got bored and disappeared...went back and maged it, and killed it no problem.

My understanding from what we were told so far is that the Grand Exchange will be sort of like a store where you can take an item you want to sell, leave it there or post it there (not sure how that will work) with your asking price, and then you can go on about your merry rs life ....if someone buys the item you will be notified and can go pick up your money at the nearest bank,I don't know if the teller will give you gp or if it will be direct deposited into your account. I would guess the former, since the transaction of the teller giving you gp would serve as a cyber-receipt that the transaction occurred and people can't say it wasn't put in their bank.

I watch tv ..but my tv and computer are in the same room, so no running required.

I am also not a staker, but this to me seems like an excellent solution. I would imagine if rl traders are staking they would be either 1 sided stakes or extremely lopsided stakes, so a 3k difference seems reasonable

I have never staked or dueled in my rs life ( well rl for that matter), but I think 3k is ridiculously low .... my son is a low level dueler and even he stakes more than that per duel ..sometimes nothing more than a rune scimitar or 5 or 10 k .....but under this new system even that is too much ...I don't even want to hear his reaction when he gets home from school today.

Go to furnace with all your supplies, click on gold bar, then click on furnace ...it will bring up a menu and then click on the pic of the sapphire ring

Seems to be a common issue ..what I always check is the last log in time and ip/isp ...as long as that is always consistent with the last time you played...no worries ..

You can farm and fletch in Catherby ...which is how I started both skills ...plant seeds and while they are growing cut trees around allotments and make arrow shafts, just remember to check crops and water once in a while until you can pick them. I now have over 10k iron arrows and about 7k steel just from those arrow shafts ..lol

I would train slayer ...why? well it's fun, when you get a higher level you get good drops, you can raise your other combat skills whilst raising slayer, as well as prayer from burying bones of things you slay and you will get ranked at level 30.

I have been getting tons of them lately, but I thought it was just because I was doing a lot of skilling...fishing, farming, mining, all the repetitive tasks...but for the last 2 days I have been doing some slayer tasks and am still getting them ...mostly drunk dwarves, MOM, and Cap'n Hand, but it is quite annoying in combat when a random shows up ....I didn't realize what a problem slayer bots were :-s

It's great to see I'm not alone ...I too am a mom ...I have 2 boys who play, and started playing because an older friend of ours suggested this game for them, I tried it to see if it was ok for them and have been playing ever since. I am not one of those parents who think anything on-line is evil ...it is the world kids are growing up in, and as long as they learn to set limits for themselves and not spend their whole life in front of the computer, I don't see a problem with it.
