Remember, you have more monsters and better weapons in p2p ;). You also have slayer, which somewhat helps take out the monotony of training. But probably aim for 75 attack/70 str (75 attack for more accuracy and be able to wield a gs if you get that rich :P). But gl with your new members account :D.

I think you can get around 30 defence and still level up to 40 defence from the quest. This should help a little bit. And also if you have a friend who hasn't done it yet and has high combat, have them fight it until it has around 20 hp, then you finish it off. I did this with one of my pures after the update (except it was like that when I got there, wasn't a friend :P) and it worked great.

Why not finish the quest? O.o And yes you only need the amulet, and remember a rope :P

When I was logging in to check my accounts to see if any of the ge offers updated, I noticed that it said on the account that I tried to buy (send in money for) members for around 1 1/2 weeks ago that it said I bought 60 days of membership and had 1 message in my inbox. I was liek \ so I went to check my inbox. No new messages D<. I also tried logging into a members world. Couldn't do that. So then I tried logging on to my account on a f2p world. Said I had no membership and no new messages. So my question is: Is this supposed to happen before you get members? Or is this Jagex saying: Why hasn't your money come in yet?

So is posting spam. And you can break the rule of training attack-defence-str sometimes. Maybe you want to weild that obby maul, and you can go strength-attack-defence then. Or maybe some dragon armor. Just remember to set it in little goals, or else you might get burned out. Also train it with slayer as much as possible .

Yeah, just make sure you have talked to the people needed beforehand. And also like bro said, make sure to check the quest log.

I think f2p will get fullscreen. *looks at top of screen* I don't see any ads there at the moment... I think the ge database was just a side project. They aren't going to lose potential players/members just to a database. I think they have other things that are more important atm ;) .

I usually just have to wait it out. Just don't switch screens until its over (I can usually tell because it usually comes with lag). You may also want to try to switch over to IE like noble said. Sometimes works for me.

Because there is such a low supply of arrowheads, the loss is great. It is the the fastest way to 99 fletch though (2m xp/hour for dragon arrows). So I'm guessing that 44m figure is about right.

Varrock sewers have more spawns I think, and is closer to a tele location. Just be prepared for the spiders there (it can be a good training spot if you're higher leveled though).

If you're bhing on a budget, I'd recommend 100-500. If cash is not an issue, 1k+.

Firefox has only crashed for me on beta, and only twice after that (this was after I closed it, it was the popular "firefox is still running" scenario). So I still like firefox. I don't use the IE on our computer because that's what the rest of my family uses, and they have a tendency to crap it up.

Uhm... tell us if you're a pure/maybe tell us your stats? I'm assuming you're f2p, so most low lvl monsters are good. Goblins @ goblin village are good. Also the lvl 12 minotaurs in the stronghold of security work well too. The minotaurs drop lots of iron arrows, so that is a nice plus.

Its whatever you want personally. 1 prayer- More hp and you don't have to worry about activating prayers. You loose items, but you have a better chance of tanking it (lack of better term there) because you have more hp. 13 prayer- Only get this if you plan to melee- its the 10% str boost. Adds minimal combat. 25/26 prayer- You can protect your 1 most valuable item (1 iteming :D) and with 26 you have the 10% range boost AND protect item. 26 prayer is really good for range/2hers. 31/34 prayer- This is usually gotten by people who use melee. 31 is 15% strength boost and 34 is 10% attack boost <-- This one helps somewhat for fighting people with defence. Although not too much. 43/44 prayer- I wouldn't recommend getting this, but oh well. Some people like having the 15% range boost and protection prayers. Just a reminder though- protection prayers only take off 50% of what the damage would have done originally. If you have 1 defence, you get hit constantly, so protection prayer would only take off half that. I would prefer having more hp over that, but that is just me. Also remember if you use protection prayers during a fight, people will pretty much automatically run out, because they don't want to waste their supplies on you. I would also think this would be better served in graveyard help and advice.

Really? I just cursed a few mage lvls on my pure 2 days ago... Are you sure you weren't wearing a power ammy or something? But cursing would be the best way probably.

Go back to the guy you bought it at and use it on him. He will ask if you want your shield degraded. You could also just die and get it at your grave ^.^

It is kind of based off of the same principle as when that person was lvl 66 or something in low crater f2p. If you level up over the level cap for that crater, you don't automatically get kicked out. The lvl 55 (at that time) trained on his/her clan mates (on defensive) and got all the way to lvl 40 defence :ohnoes: . So I don't think its bug abuse (except for what that person did... they kind of over did it :x) because you only have like a 1 lvl difference between being a lvl 100. But there are always those wannabe mods, so be careful I guess.

I would say update old content after they get done with this whole graphics update.

I don't think you ever stop burning them. But I think 90 is a good time to cook them, like a 1/10,000 chance (Idk about that chance but...).
