I just don't see why it bothers people that mostly inoffensive pop for young girls is in fact, gasp, very popular among young girls. Naturally they're going to want to spend money on clothes and other merchandise. It's not hurting anyone, I don't see the issue.

Why exactly would that test your faith in humanity? It's just some pre-teen and teenage girls waiting in line to buy some shirts for a band they like. I don't really see what the big deal is. Different strokes for different folks.

Probably related to privacy issues. Some people get really worked up about that stuff.

^ yep, breaking bad is [bleep]ing awesome, especially season 4. I just happened to finish up season 5A yesterday after watching it for a few hours straight. Can't wait for the second half of the season to premier.

Yeah I highly doubt what happened to Distracted was even really related to smoking weed, it's just that I had to correct the idea that hallucinations don't occur at all under the influence of marijuana.

Uhhh hallucinations are definitely a side effect of marijuana. Still relatively mild unless you're taking in a ton on cannabis, but it's not completely untrue. Yeah I still come here pretty much every day and at least skim all the new posts, but my post rate has certainly declined. Last semester of high school for me, been busy with 5 AP classes, National Honor Society, my job, etc. Luckily I somehow got a 4.0 for my last semester, bringing my cumulative above a 3.75 which gets me in the paper and stuff so woo.

That's why. College has no problem teaching world history instead of Euro-centric history. High schools do because it's shorter and easier to teach, and benefits national image. I'll ignore that comment about history being meaningless, though. :wink: Oh I didn't mean the history itself, I just meant the way it's delivered in elementary school and the like. I don't think kids (myself included) really take much out of history classes when we're like 10 years old.
