Work to live, not live to work. There are obviously limits, but if you'd rather emphasize being successful to enjoying yourself (in whatever way you achieve this aim), I'd argue your life priorities are totally wrong. You're making it sound like the two are mutually exclusive.

It grew on me a lot. I never thought it was awful, but I just thought it was pretty "meh" my first handful of listens. Once I looked past tracks like Black Skinhead and On Sight (which I still enjoy), I found the second half of the album to be less abrasive and really well put together musically. Blood on the Leaves and Hold My Liquor are my current favorite tracks. As for the lyrics being bad, well, I couldn't really argue with you that much, if only because I don't really care all that much about lyrics when I'm listening to hip-hop/rap. I dislike listening to most "conscious rap" and similar styles because I think it often times uses political messages and such as an excuse to be incredibly boring to listen to, but that's a whole other discussion. other favorite albums of the year: Old, BetterOffDead, Trap Lord, Long Live A$AP

Most people who go out of their way to whine about Kanye West are usually either racist old people or people who've never listened to his music beyond "Gold Digger" on the radio a couple times. I'm really jealous, Kalphite, I still listen to Yeezus (and MDBTF, on that note) regularly. I wanted to see the Yeezus tour when he came to Seattle in October, but by the time I heard about it all the tickets were pretty much sold out. I saw a setlist online somewhere and it looked amazing, have fun!

Back home for winter break after fall quarter. It's been difficult to adjust at times (my roommate stays up literally all night and sleeps all day, everyday), but so far I've loved my first months of college. Good luck, rocco.

If there's one thing I'm good at, it's test taking. It's not the most useful skill in the world, but hey, I always seem to do pretty well on them. I don't understand the logic of wanting to lie about not getting a good grade when you actually did get one. It's not bragging if they ask, it's just being honest. Or maybe I just lack empathy, I dunno.

I hate bad drivers too, but I don't think creating even more dangerous scenarios as a way of "revenge" is exactly a good idea.

not worth the hassle, just give 'em to me.

On the topic of first years of college, mine's going quite well so far. I really lucked out in terms of who's in my cluster (a cluster being 4 rooms of 2 people each that has its own little lounge and bathroom and stuff), I've become really good friends with a few of them already. Unfortunately, I kind of hate my roommate. He stays up ridiculously late on school nights so he can talk to his friends back home in China on Skype and stuff and then sleeps until the afternoon and skips his morning classes. Also he smells really bad. I try to stay out of my room a lot.

I have a touch screen laptop. I don't really use that feature at all, except for maybe zooming in on google maps or something like that every once in a while. that being said, it doesn't detract from the quality of the laptop as a whole or anything.
