Hmmmm, For you're information I have Vista installed on 2 of my Computers.... Nice try on trying to win me over with argument... And yeah, sorry about the Halo 2 + Direct X10 section on my behalf, However Halo 2 did still have support for it, For those running it they would find greater perfomance, apperantly.... Either way the game does still run better on XP than it ever did on Vista :) Your argument about any device to come out after Vista I find rather baffling... Why should we need to go buy another Wireless card simply because of a new OS?? Windows is Windows, It's not like swapping over to a completely different kernel like Linux or Mac I have also tested Crysis for game play, and it benchmarked better on a XP than it did with Vista... What happened to your "Any game that comes out now will run perfectly fine on Vista" And Vista doesn't even seem 100% finished, It is great at finding problems with the installation, and brilliantly poor at finding solutions for them :S Just because Vista is new doesn't make it a better OS... Microsoft can't deliver solutions to the many problems people face while using applications such as Firefox. I'm sorry but like, Vista should have got a higher compatibility with software out there before releasing it.... The censor does annoy me, I must admit. I find it to strong... I wouldn't mind a toggle, however you know some random noob will come along and abuse it to the best of their ability... So for this reason I say keep the censor as it is, And quite frankly, You will get used to it being there, I admit, I swear in day to day life (not in a crude manor) no, and not exactly what some would say to be the worst words, Either way, Runescape has been a place where I can calm down more because of not being able to swear... If your PC is connected to a router, like mine (because I also distribute my internet to other laptops with a wireless connection from it) Then all you would require is another Ethernet cable, like the one you already have connecting your PC to the router.

False. Vista's drivers are fine now, and if you are buying a new machine the manufacturer has already made sure you are able to have the correct drivers. Vista is fine now, and I'd recommend it personally. What you said there is partially true, because thats drivers for the items already on the laptop (Screen/Sound etc), however Vista is still poor on drivers for other areas, such as Wireless cards and other external devices... Even if Vista had 100% corrected the problem for drivers, then it still wouldn't work well as a gaming laptop, Games will run better on XP hands down. And for the record, Vista can't even keep there new DirectX10 games running well on the OS. Halo 2 for instance, came out to be DirectX10. A group of people cracked it to work with DirectX9, so it would run on Windows XP, and what do you know, the game was running 3 times faster. Vista is a waste of time, Microsoft released it way to early if you ask me...

Secondly do you not feel there is more to love than talking via a game? I mean sure its nice to talk with that person, however you can't really understand someones personality over the web, simply because we can change who we are when on the internet. When people write they have a different personality than they do in true form, simply because we can mask the true self over the internet, Don't you feel that you want to see her? And what do expect to be the outcome of dating her over the game? surely you can't expect it to last forever. Here are my recommendations. Firstly, you my friend do not need to pay $3000 on a laptop. Here in the UK you can get amazing spec laptops for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã600-800, Thats around $1300. And I completely recommend that you scrap the Windows Vista, and just downgrade to XP, why? Well theres many driver issues with Vista, not to mention games will run slower on Vista than they would on XP. Just shop around, Look for a good spec, if it comes with Vista, tell them you want a downgrade and you will get the laptop for a cheaper price. Like another user said in this thread, A laptop isn't really meant for gaming, It can/will heat up, as you are demanding your system to do more. But gaming on a laptop will still work :) (For FPS you will find you need a mouse) Just make sure you shop around, don't buy at first site :D Happy shopping

This is a debate about those fools in Runescape who go around asking every girl in their path if they wish to be their girlfriend..... Only seconds later to then ask them to marry them. What is it that drives people to do this? I actually confronted one of the guys (or boys I should say) who was doing this, Because the female he was asking started to get rather agitated/annoyed by this. here is how the conversation went, Not naming any names here... [Me] And she clearly said that she doesn't want to be your GF [Him] I will force her to be mine then... [Me] Really? Why do you not get a nice girl in real life, someone you can love, and see. Yeah I tested with Camtasia, and you can export it to a .gif from the actual program its self.

I noticed (what I would call a glitch) and that is, if you are, lets say training on flesh crawlers in the SoS, then suddenly bury some bones, then you will get a random. It's happened to me well over 6 times, however I haven't yet timed how long it takes of killing flesh crawlers before having to bury bones and get a random. Using the method above it is in fact possible for people to determine when the random will occur, simply by changing what you are doing after a period of time. I have read elsewhere and from friends as well that the same happens to them while carrying out other tasks.

Care to point out where I am complaining? I was walking around, when I noticed that the underside of a team cape, is a pale brown color. Now I am not sure if it is meant to be like this or not, Either way I think it should be fully colored as the color on the front of it (or just its main color, doesn't have to be exact same pattern) Here is an image of what I am suggesting needs a re-look [hide=Click to see image] See where the is brown on the cape. I am proud of my name, The awcaddet part of it is whats creative, The 2 after it (my RSN) is simply there because it's my second account (I forgot my first). Please here me out, Oh, and I do support, I am just telling you another hackers method of trade Right, well this idea, 10/10, Its great and will add security.... But only for a keylogger. Some if not most Trojans out there allows the hacker to see live (depending on connection speed) what their victim is doing. So they can see where they place the mouse and click on the screen, thus, work out the pin in just the same amount of time it took the victim to enter it. Although the deployment of Trojans isn't normally used, I know of cases where it has, And if this idea does get added to the game, then sooner or later you will see a rise in "Account stolen by Trojan incidences" Please friends, don't think I am bashing you're idea, no, I am all for it, I am simply telling you another method which could/would be used to bypass it, and maybe with your clever thinking you will be able to find a fix for that :D

If you're on an english server, you should know english. If you're on a german server, you should know german. The game is written in these languages on those servers, it'd be hard to play if you didn't know the language. :-s No not really :? I have Chinese friends who cant read/write in English or German for that matter (just the few words, a bit of understanding of something like Hello, Goodbye), yet they can still play, The game itself is rather self explanatory depending what your doing. Its a simple point and click game (yes also theres text, but that isn't a necessity) As long as you know what the object it is your looking at (say logs) then you grasp the concept behind them, and after playing for ages you will understand most of the game without there being text. My friend doesn't do any of the quests, but he is still able to have fun etc... Regardless of language the site/game is in, Never expect that to stop someone who doesn't know the language playing... And never expect that they should know that language... Thats the problem with this concept, Its nicely planed out, but it will leave out/cause problems with the very small majority of players who can't speak the language, You may think that "ohhh, its a small majority, big deal" but the fact is that it is a majority nonetheless.

[off-topic] How can you say GIMP ftw, pssssh, that doesn't have half as many features and tools as Adobe Photoshop CS Series, not to mention the brushes for the program are horrible and don't resize without having to fiddle with extra parts of the program. People these days and their *oh it's free* attitude... [/off-topic] I used your guide (parts of it) to aid me in making a 3D (so far only moving horizontal) graphic to add to my runescape project, Works well, I found both Camtasia and Hypercam did the job well.
