I was bored after finishing my lego robot (<_<) so I decided to pixel a bit, my main problems were shading so I tried to make a signature that was "only" dithering. I wanted to make that sketchy imperfect look on the letters. Also if someone could make the white transparent here would be a lifesaver. Made another "Pixel hugger" for the same reason, I guess penguins are a pixel tradition on this forum thanks to Jopie :P. Dithering was really random here #-o, wasn't able to see the dark colours because I have a problem with that (My eyes). Any kind of comments, C/c or Tips are welcome.

It's one render!? *rephrases* It's a lot easier with one focal point and your welcome.

The background is very good on the first one =D>, renders are a bit big though (Easier with one render) and doesn't blend very well, text needs to be improved. I suggest playing with colour and layer settings as I can see you played around a bit with the opacity, font could be smaller and less "swirly". About the blending part, smudging is your best friend combined with different layer settings. Second one is very plain, I have to say it looks like text on a single C4D, try making it more interesting by adding many different C4Ds and erase the parts that look bad and brush in lightning on interesting places, the text is the same as above. A big jump to be honest, good job pat :thumbup:!

The smudging is a little too much for my liking (Burns my eyes), most of the flaws are already stated by Yaff. I suggest using a couple of more effects and tone down the smudging a bit on your next signature, overall it's pretty good :thumbup:.

I Loled XD. It's pretty good, I like the colour scheme and the cool background and the render choice with it, the blending on the other hand could be improved, it looks like a render pasted on a background at the moment, the text doesn't really match with the signature itself and the colours on it could be better (Text only), the low opacity head that's right of the render doesn't look too good in my opinion but neither does it look too bad. I suggest getting a smaller text and a different font and use a gradient on the text that goes with the flow, on your future signatures I also suggest making your base of your background by smudging a copy of the render as it makes it a little easier to blend it (Play around with settings as well).

I'm not a fan of it either, the lightning and effects aren't really good together, I think it's better before Rm's edit as the effects seems a bit messy, not trying to be mean or anything like that but the effects doesn't go well with the signature. I can't figure out anything to improve it either :(.

The fun thing is that it wasn't too long ago that you made things like this, your skills went sky high on a couple of weeks which scares me a lot :ohnoes:.

I'm not reading whole tutorials, I just look for "awesume" effects to try out. About the effect I was thinking something from behind in the background like interesting lightning with different colours, a couple of more C4Ds that sprout from behind and a small clipping mask for the left arm. Could look good.

What I mean with spice is that it needs a effect that stands out a lot, the C4Ds and the pentool line is a bit boring by them self there. Thanks a lot, I still need to read some stock tutorials before I do them though :roll:. I wouldn't mind doing a Wallpaper (What is a LP?) with you, haven't done anything similar before though.

I agree with most of Rainys points there, also the green spot isn't very good looking, try some deep red there instead?

Well that's up too you isn't it? :) also I commented on your shouting piece. Also if I had access to photoshop I would have done it with you :(, Can't really book up more collabs as I already have 3 to do when I get back home :P, maybe in 2 months or so when I upped my stock skills.

That's a pretty good signature, the pentool could be a bit better though (flow) and the background is a bit boring, could use some spice. Overall decent but it's not close to be one of your best. *cough*That kind of clipping mask box is horrible*cough*

It's decent, the C4Ds on the right side doesn't seem to flow with the C4D you put behind the render, maybe you could have let the C4D that's behind the render go over her shoulder as it looks a bit pasted on, your blending attempt to fix that looks a bit bad to be honest but I like the idea. It's good for a 15 minutes :thumbup:and the border looks "cool" but it doesn't fit well with this signature.

I read out like 2 sites so far :lol: I'm just bad at knowing exactly what does, I know where they are and how they help but 'what" THEY do. I owe alot to Chazimcgee Ah :P, just use the tutorials with odd effects then ;), also I owe more then "a lot" too Chaz, hes my god :shock: :thumbup:.

I like your second one and your latest one, your getting better :thumbup:, I suggest reading tutorials for more effects etc. You really have to improve your text though. Try messing with colour, opacity and layer settings.

I know that swords can be that big but it's a bit wide in my opinion even for that size.

Looking good ;) :thumbup:, the only thing I'm a bit bothered is the really large sword on the wall, it feels overdimensioned.

Good job there shiny and RM, but I'm "pissed" that I can't use photoshop for another 3 weeks :(.
