The Ancient Warriors Origins
this may be true, cna anyone substantiate this claim? Weeeell, i can't back it up per say..., but i can use logic. For the without runes bit, i remember seeing that (probably in a postbag, or a god letters) "magic runs through their veins" referring to the mahjarrat. As for every mahjarrat using ancients, well, there were only about 100 or so mahjarrat that came to Runescape, so either they were the cream of the crop and could wtfpwn nearly every human which would prove ancients as being powerful (though, if a mere human could master it, i kinda doubt it's that special to a mahjarrat), or every mahjarrat can use ancients in some form which would explain why a human could learn it. Urgh, long run on sentence. Well, "magic running through their veins" could just mean they were very adept at mastering it with more basic runes. Well I don't have the facts to prove it right now, but take it from me, the Mahjarrat can perform Magic without needing runes. I'm sure I read it in various tomes as well as seeing it ingame, and besides that it is also stated on the Runescape Wiki. (Which counts as about 99% proof) As far as I know every Mahjarrat can use Magic without the aid of runes, they used Ancient Magicks (they probably were the first to use it), and they were the only ones to use it in Zaros's armies. It could of course be possible that they teached the Magicks to other, including human, mages, who followed Zaros, but there has been no proof found about that. ROFL: since when has wiki's been counting as "proof"? WIKI's are almost the opposite of "proof": they're only good at giving you hints so you start looking into the right direction. But as it's user inputted you can and should never trust a wiki for being the truth! [/hide] @Joke: You are right, but I was talking about the followers of Zaros in the Third Age. As far as I know there has been no proof of anyone else than Mahjarrat casting Ancient Magicks during the God Wars right? We know humans can learn it, so it's not impossible that some did, but... no proof. @Pulli: I agree with you partially, as wiki's are indeed user imputted and can therefore never be taken for truth blindly. BUT, there are a lot of wonderful people down there who (besides me) never stop checking everything the wiki contains, correcting if false, placing if new, and deleting the childish assaults. That's why I said you could count information derived from the RS Wiki as '99% proof', as there is a next to none chance that it is false. Besides, there are other people in this discussion who said they remembered the same thing, and that it was mentioned in a God Letter or something. Where on the wiki does it say this?

A better way to slay Dagannoths! ~Revamped!~
If you finish a Dagannoth task in Lighthouse and get 15k slayer experience and then you go recover your summoning experience lost at waterfiends...your slayer experience *remains the same!* You are only recovering the summoning experience. At the end of your collecting charms at waterfiends, your 30 minutes are up in which you could have not have bothered with the charms at waterfiends, would not be facing a nice chunk of loss and could have used money to help your slayering better and also your slayer xp from CT will be higher. I am not going by xp/hour, as you have mentioned, to recover you must go to waterfiends and get some charms otherwise Lighthouse dagannoths have no competition at all. Again, your slayer xp will not change when you are recovering your charms. Thanks.. Lord Shalaj Also: waterfiends require bunyip/or lots prayer potions for decent trip. So if your not 68 summon, waterfiends will cost alot. Dustdevils+Dagannoths=Best way for cheap leveling to 68 summon. I broke even every time when I was killing waterfiends before 68 summon, but nice try! =D> Lord, this is not a revolutionary way to kill dags, sorry, it's not. What you have found is a more profitable way of killing them, however, this provides slower slayer xp and slower range xp, as compared to the lighthouse. ~m4~

Tip on brawling gloves....
Yes, no matter what world you use them on I think.I need facts! Want to know if I should get them for costume purposes. They only degrade if you use them to gain Xp :) I need facts too - but I hope to hear from someone who actually owns a pair of the gloves and is using them. (We can't rely on what another fansite says or what someone "heard" from a friend.) Does anyone have gloves, and can you give any info about the deterioration? Also, do the gloves have any stats? We've now received pics of mining, firemaking (thanks to Olly3c) as well as melee, ranged, smithing, and thieving gloves. Still need .PNG pics (highest brightness) of Magic, Agility, Cooking, Fishing, Hunter, Prayer, and Woodcutting. His name is ollyc3 =D> but nice try! And I think that prayer will be the easiest to do, seeing as you pretty much teleport safely to someones gilded altar.

Multi Site Steel War Aftermath - Done - READ FIRST POST!
Even better, everyone + 1/3 of tip.it versus 2/3 of tip.it. That would probably be pretty even. And for the guys who still aren't getting it: When you have large numbers, like over 150, you shouldn't even try to organise them. Unless you are in a very deciplined clan, there will always be those few idiots who choose, for some reason, not to listen to the leaders. The leaders that led you during MSSW4 knew that organisation was impossible. And please, do not insult our experience. We were chosen because of our experience. Ts_stormrage has been to the MSSWs in the past, and has experience running a clan for over 2-3 years. I myself have been to all four MSSWs, so I obviously had the advantage of knowing what to specifically expect, and I predicted right. Bsing is also part of huge wars like this. Just like organising hundreds of troops, controlling the bsing is just an impossible task. Generals can scream all they want "STOP BSING!!!" in their clan chats, but it still goes on. Bsing is a natural thing, there are always those idiots who think its funny to kill their own teammates (like in Halo, there are teamkillers). If you get bsed please don't go into a blind rage. Just suck it up: did you not come to a war and expect to live? Third, and finally, don't expect a challenge. MSSWs aren't 'real' wars, they're all about who can advertise the most. One team decides to recruit hundreds of troops while the other fan sites fall behind because all the troops are taken. Result: A slaughter. RSC slaughtered everyone in the first two MSSWs, tip.it decided to be the recruiter and won the last two MSSWs. Rofl! rsc has about 3x the member base, if they had decided to come it might have been a contest, "recruiting" is insuffiecient in some cases, case and points is tif vs. rv in cws.

Why eat/pray at all? (Honest Question)
Okay, try to kill me when every time you hit me, I use a tuna potato and brew and heal 38 HP. And I never let my HP fall below 100. And I run once I get down to 4 food + 2 brews. Your opponent doesn't want to die either. So if you both do everything possible to avoid death, neither player has a chance to win, the only person that's gaining is the fisherman selling you suckers the sharks that you're wasting, or the cook who is now buying a Godsword with the money he made from selling you chumps the tuna potatoes. What is the point of PK-ing if everyone is near impossible, and you get a kill every 50 attempts when your opponent lags? You overestimate P2P weapons, even though a Godsword has a max hit of ~75 in PvP, it doesn't mean it hits 75 often. I just like how people who don't wanna die don't understand how to pk, last I checked killing someone doesn't work very well if you are dead.

Multi Site Steel War Aftermath - Done - READ FIRST POST!
Glad to see someone from another fansite doesn't hate us. Instead of making allies, we were thinking of creating an anti-Tip.It alliance between the other fansites. It'd be more fun and fair for everyone \ We should just not participate, we are obviously going to win, even with bad leadership and just generally a mass of people running all over the place clicking on white dots we won, we should let skill determine the next mssw, maybe only a select few should represent the fansite.

The Ancient Warriors Origins
dude, first of all I'm gonna correct your grammar, really, that was painful to read :-# I'm still not quite sure what you mean, do you have proof that zamorak didn't have his own troops that rivaled the brothers? You only know that the brothers felt weak going into battle, karil himself was missing shots with his bow, is this proof that the 4 warriors weren't there? No.

Yeah, I think that zuriel might be zamorakian and managed to steal the ability to cst these spells, however this is largely speculation.
