Solaris. I think it was supposed to be some kind of psychological thriller, except they forgot to add the thrill or even a plot. Basically George Clooney sits in a space station doing nothing for about 2 hours.

I find that very hard to believe. If there was a major outbreak (millions killed) in Asia then there would be some significant news coverage and distribution of the stockpiled antibodies would commence. As far as I know, the virus currently has no way to travel between humans, and can only be contracted through contact with diseased birds. I'm pretty sure that the virus can travel between birds, and wouldn't be surprised if the "millions killed" you are referring to are infact millions of culled chickens. It is also impossible to believe that the flu (had it actually been able to travel between humans, which I shall stress it currently can not) could be contained within the infected countries as you said, unless your government (and many others) decided to quarantine the whole nation (i.e. no travel of humans or birds in or out of your country), in which case I'm sure we would all know about it. Also, if a modified bird flu virus capable of travelling between humans had reached China as you implied, you could be damn sure that more than a few million people would die. OK, this is NOT supposed to be a flame war, but I'm so mad, so I'll explain this in as little words as possible. I live here and experience what happened. You didn't. The epidemic spread to my classmate's parents. Yours didn't. I watched the news everyday on how daily, here where I live and in other areas (espeacially China whcih was the worst hit area) hundreds die. So don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, and China WAS quarntined, and a few other countries (including mine) but it wasn't fast enough to stop the virus from spreading. I am honestly suprised that so few people in America or wherever you guys may be from know about this. I would like to believe you since you're obviously very passionate about this issue, however I still can not. This is primarily because I truely believe that I (and others) would have heard a lot more about this, if what you are saying were true. I don't remember hearing anything about all of China's airports being closed or any such kerfuffle. I'm also pretty sure that top British scientists and doctors wouldn't still be saying "if the bird flu virus is ever able to travel between humans....." - heck, just today one of my lectures said exactly that. People may be dieing in your country, but I cannot believe it is due to the virus which is the subject of this thread. I am sure that many people have died from coming in contact with infected birds, but not due to the virus travelling between humans.

I didn't take many screenshots on rs1, and 90% of the ones I did were lost when I got my new pc (old one broke, big time). All I really have left is a barrel full of pk pics and a few random ones. When I was level 97, Biga was level 3 (his main was banned), and by the time I was level 100, Biga was already well above level 115. That's a lot of time 3 iteming at the hob gobs. Bob played RS1 too. :D I D R used to be an awesome pure, he just got 40 defense then we got this pk together. Anybody remember Rula? He had about 95 strength and was only level 100. He always used to 3 item at the hob goblins but he was also usually skulled. Anyway this time I remember I missed a catch when he was running south on about 5hp, so I teled to edgeville using my drag ammy, then ran back up to the wilderness and finished him with a firewave LMAO. :lol: High level wilderness, pking with my good friend Sthofheaven, another awesome catcher. This level 108 almost killed us both. That was back in the days when high levels could actually kill people lower than them. Anyway I'll stop now since I'm only really posting pk pics now, which I'm sure you have seen enough of. Hope You enjoyed it.

mmm i kinda agree. Maddox used to be VERY funny. There was a steady stream of relevant and topical articles with a lot of wit. Recently they have been very few and far between and pretty much just rants. The recent one with the comic books was funny but the humour was all in the images and not in the text, he could have made that a lot better. He is currently writing a book which is the excuse he gives for not updating very often and i can only hope that the content is more like it was a year or two ago rather than his recent ones. I dont agree with your comments about Ninja Pirate, he is a pure Maddox ripoff and authough he is now starting to develop his own style its still very much based on the attitude "maddox pwnz so imma copy him lol!!!11". Yes he updated but he tries too hard in his huimour and you can tell he spends a lot of time thinking about how he can be funny in his articles rather than just naturally being funny Having never heard of "ninjapirate" before, I searched Google for it after reading this topic, it was a big disappointment. I agree with you, Mercifull, that his "humour" sounds forced and unnatural. When Maddox is talking bollocks, he can at least make it sound realistic and funny, but I got the impression from this ninja guy that he does not have such a gift. Take the "Am I next to be 'discovered'" article for example, which was one of the few that I read before closing the page in disgust. The story was fake and unbelievable, and his attempt at humour just made me feel " :roll: " for many reasons: (1) He would never abuse a telephone interviewer like that. (2) If the interviewer was being abused so badly she would have hung up after about 15 seconds of his BS, and not continued to talk for 5 minutes. This just adds to the fakeness of the story. (3) It wasn't even funny. Abusing somebody who has done nothing wrong is not funny. When maddox takes a stab at somebody, it is usually for a good reason and it leaves the reader feeling somewhat fullfilled. Whereas when I read the article by ninja, I just felt embarassed by what an ass he was making out of himself. So in conclusion, don't read "ninjapirate" if you are a fan of Maddox or if you appreciate comedy in any way, he just doesn't understand what is means to be funny.

Indeed. Until a few days ago, I only saw the frog and other such crap on MTV, but now they have infiltrated "Sky 1", my favorite channel, and also "E4" and I'm pretty sure I saw some on the "UKTV" channels aswell. Ah well, as stupid as the frog is, its not as bad as some of the MTV adverts which I saw in Switzerland. There was one about some kind of singing reindeer with a croaky voice which was played 2/3 times per advert break, it was certainly a pain to the ears and I'm sure it would have been worse if I actually understoof what it was singing. :lol:

Yea I know.... I thought if i gave everybody a pic they could go to they could just wear that stuff and get the frames themselves. I suppose it doesnt really have to be high quality as long as it looks good. Ah well i know nothing about sigs... 8) Post here if your interested in making it. :D

I would like an animation sig, and I'm willing to pay 5 rings of wealth if I like it. What I really want is an animation of a mage wearing this outfit: I would like him to be doing the zamarok strike animation (the same one as in runescape). Every time he does the animation i would like a word to appear opposite him.... with fire under each word. E.g. he does one full strike then the word "chaos730" appears in a blank space with fire underneath it. Then the guy does the animation again and "96 magic" appears in a burst of fire. Also i would "104 combat" to appear in the same fashion. Once these 3 sprases have appeared, it would be good if the whole sig could be engulfed in fire, then the whole animation restarted on a loop. I know it seems hard, but I know these forums have some really good sig-makers in them. Also i would hope that the 500k reward would be a good incentive to make some high quality merchandise.
