  1. It's not a vista problem as I had it working on both vista and 7. Unfortunately, I can't give an any other help.
  2. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and now Command and Conquer 4 since the beta is a lot better and a lot more fun than I expected. March 2010 is where it's at.
  3. This is why there is no food allowed in labs children.
  4. I think you are a little misinformed about what goes on in Iraq. There isn't even much fighting anymore and the soldiers are not killing civilians left and right like you seem to think. And while the reasons for starting the war may be questionable, freeing a country from a hated, genocidal dictator is certainly not morally wrong. No they aren't heroes, but they really aren't risking their lives and they certainly aren't risking them for our way of life either. Firefighters and police officers do, and they are. Vietnam wasn't a wrong war either. The South Vietnamese were being invaded by an aggressor and asked for help, which we gave. Then the American people wussed out, the soldiers pulled out, and the people of South Vietnam were chased to the southern coast were as many escaped on helicopter and boats as they could and the country ceased to exist. They lost because we gave up. Look at Korea. The Korean War is still going on. Because we helped, South Korea is still free. We almost lost when China joined the side of the North, but we counter attacked and pushed them back to the 38th until a case fire was signed (which has since been ended, and the war continues to this day). The Korean War and the Vietnam War are almost identical. However, in Korea we didn't back down and we didn't give up and because of that, is looked upon in better light. The US helping their allies isn't wrong. Who knows how long WWI would have raged on if it weren't for the US. Did we have to enter it? No. We were making a fortune selling supplies to both sides, though favoring the Entente. Germany warned Americans about traveling on British ships but they didn't listen and a few hundred were unintentionally killed. Then the American people got pissed (9/11 parallel anyone) and entered the war. WWI was the most pointless war in modern times. A teenager killed an archduke on his own accord, a superpower invades a tiny country in response, and the world is at war due to hidden alliances. No good guys, no moral cause- just a bunch of pissed off leaders who were too stubborn to talk. By the way, I'm not flaming, I'm just saying what I think. You're entitled to your own opinions.
  5. This speaks for itself. Your snappy one-liners, out of context "not always" arguments aren't worth my time and now I really do believe you are a bigot. If you can't accept that not every religious person is some kind of insurgent trying to infuse children's' minds with their beliefs and enslave them in a mindless cult, then fine. Have fun picking this apart and shrugging it off with sarcastic remarks. But really, there is no reason to teach intelligent design in a science class other than to teach religion. It isn't science. So anybody advocating the "teach both" approach is simply trying to get religion into schools. Here's the original quote which I'm referencing: "But don't be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides."- This is what I'm arguing for. Creationism really shouldn't be taught in public schools because of separation of church and state, not to mention different religions. And no it's not science. But completely blocking it out and banning any kind of discussion of it in schools is stupid. Why should teachers be suspended and fired for referencing it? Why should kids be suspended for praying at school activities (personal experience)? They shouldn't. Tolerance is what I was arguing for. And saying anyone who says to present both sides is some kind of radical who is trying to corrupt children is way off base. If that's their belief, let them have it; they are allowed to have have it.

  7. I wasn't going to get into the middle of this pointless argument, but I take offense to that statement. Because a person believes in God, it makes them an extremist who doesn't believe in science? Are you completely block-headed? Why can't a person take a two-sided approach? It's possible to believe in God AND science. Saying "teach both" does not make her a zealot. In fact it makes her just the opposite, a moderate- someone who can see both sides and compromise. In fact, what you said makes YOU a zealot. THINK next time you make statements like that and make yourself look like a bigot.
  8. Broken Steel doesn't really have any separate areas from the Capital Wasteland, it just adds stuff to it with the exception of Adams AFB. But that segment/battle is short enough that you can just play it then fly out of there. I still think you can exit via the way you came, but there really isn't a reason to.
  9. I didn't know about the different attack styles either. Also I tried to train agility by running around a lot. As a free player.
  10. Since when was Thundercat's a good cartoon? I don't know when they played the Super Friends (I think you mean Justice League, which I do think is one of the greatest cartoons ever made). The comedy of these latest cartoons are unstructured, and random, which I guess is why you guys are talking about ADD. I can't stand Chowder, I can't stand Flapjack, I can't stand Total Drama whatever, I can't stand 6teen. It's not funny, and Cartoon Network can rot for all I care. I know they are catering to a new generation, but this new generation has really bad taste... Ok let me rephrase my statement: They were relatively good cartoons; and by that I mean they are entertaining but not necessarily good. You know, like watching a bad movie to laugh at it (Mystery Science Theatre 3000 anyone?). Thundercats took itself way too seriously despite being corny, and it was funny and even if it wasn't it was still entertaining. Besides who doesn't like saying, "thunder, thunder, thunder cats hooooo!" Nobody in reality. It's a good pop culture reference, though. And Super Friends was on every weekday around noon-ish in the early to mid 90's and had been around since the 70's, like Scooby-Doo. Justice League was a remake and I agree, it was very good. I consider them one in the same, even if Super Friends is a bit hammy, while Justice League was more badass
  11. As would banning prostitution, yet people seem to be all for banning that. Keep in mind that in either case nothing would really change. The people in charge of these gold farming operations were never very fine and upstanding businessmen to begin with. The only difference is that now the occasionally person will get caught, however this law is not going to accomplish much. Prostitution is already illegal. Or is that a State law? Well it's illegal in my state. This new law in China won't really change anything because the people who enforce the laws are corrupt beyond all comprehension.
  12. Remember when Cartoon Network had good cartoons like Thunder Cats, Tom and Jerry, Loony Tunes, The Super Friends and such? Now it's just a bunch of dumb durr-durr shows that, like redhaloguy said, tailors to kids with ADD. But, on the plus side for the reality shows, I saw a commercial for Slam Ball. Who here remembers Slam Ball on [bleep]e? Yeah, it was awesome. So there is that I guess, assuming they don't turn it into something gay.
  13. Well I was reading a thread in the RSOF (regrettable) and I saw a thread whose author said "© Copyright 2009. All rights Reserved. This means that if this thread dies, only I can remake it. " For some reason this really pisses me off. Does nobody know that simply putting that stupid "©" doesn't mean a damn thing? Just because you put a symbol and say something is copyrighted, it doesn't mean it is. For something to be copyrighted you have to apply to the Copyright Office, fill out the proper paperwork, and pay a $35.00 fee. Who knows, maybe this person did it, but I'm still willing to bet $1000 that they did not and are just being a "Look at me, I know a phrase I saw on the TV!" know-it-all.
  14. No it's not what sports are there in the summer? I hope you are joking. Mini_me has already stated a few. #-o Mini_me made the list after he posted that comment. How did you miss that? I think he meant that because I already stated a few, he didn't feel the need to post any others.
  15. No it's not what sports are there in the summer? Baseball, swimming, soccer, track/cross country, golf, tennis, biking- just to name some actual sports. Plus there are all the other semi-sport activities like rock climbing, wake-boarding, ect.
  16. Well, they obviously can't win a conventional war with the US, so they will have to use their nuclear weapons. Oh wait, their crappy missiles can't even make it here. How many of their missiles have even been successfully launched (as in not blowing up mid flight)? Like one, or two? The United States has hundreds of ICBMs which work and are at the ready 24/7. All we have to do is change the target from Russia to North Korea (assuming that hasn't already been done), raise the DEFCON to up our missile defense systems, and the war will be over in 15 minutes with no American casualties. That is unless they try something a little more crafty.... Oh and for all the American haters out there saying it wouldn't affect you if we were wiped out: nuclear fallout + jet-stream= cancer for you. Plus without America to trade with, your country's economy is destroyed even more than it already is. Think out that.
  17. Well, if no one else is.... -Borat -American Pie 1 -Ferris Beulars Day Off ....there's my votes.
  18. Pokemon. I can't stand the shows, the cards, or even the games. I was even the right age for it when it was brand new and the latest fad back in 1999-ish. In hindsight it was a good call.
  19. Just 10 minutes ago somebody saw my trimmed fletch cape and said "lol is ur other 99 cooking". Well, the "lol" made me think it was a derogatory comment so I didn't bother to answer. The guy then typed "?" no fewer than 12 times and then said, "I'll take that as yes". Then a nice fellow told him it was firemaking. I told the nice guy thanks and the other said "lol for wat" I said for not being an [wagon] and then he logged off. Why do some people feel the need to make fun of what others do in a game? Is clicking one thing really harder than clicking another? No. It doesn't bother me if people don't respect it, hell I don't respect either of my 99's. Anyone who wants respect in a stupid game is shallow. But why do people go out of their way to mock something they shouldn't even care about? It's just dumb.
  20. My guess would be poison And/or rings of recoil.
  21. There is nothing wrong with the laws/policies, they make sense and are beneficial. The execution of the laws/policies is the problem. Discretion is a very important part, a part which some ignore. As long as the person who is enforcing them has common sense, they work. But when the loonies over-react and over-enforce, that's when the problems occur.
  22. So you were bored of fishing on your main....... so you fished on your skiller? Wha...... I don't get it.
  23. Red Dawn, The Fugitive, Thunderball, Patriot Games, The Ghost and the Darkness, Apollo 13, and.... Gattaca, I guess.
  24. It's good to see that someone is trying to break free from the waggle.
