My school district lifted all book bans a few years ago. To put it bluntly, they said that they realized it was stupid, unnecessary, and wasn't enforced anyway.

Well, the last Star Wars MMO died a horrific death, so we'll see.

Runescape is stereotypically and factually played by 11-13 year old fat-assed nerds who have no real life friends, so they resort to insulting people in a game with ironically nerdy insults in an attempt to either seem cool to their own "kind" or make themselves feel better about their physical, social, and in-game shortcomings.

I'm picturing millions of kids typing in curse words for 3 hours straight....... :ohnoes:

I had a gun when I was 7. Of course it was actually locked up and what not and I knew the dangers of having one.....but yeah.... it's not that unusual for a kid to have a .22, especially if he lived in the country like the article said.

What would my solution be? Not worry about it and keep playing. It's just a game.

People did ask for it, which means they will buy whatever is being sold. Personally I'm more disgusted that people are buying stuff from it than said stuff being sold.

I played this back when it came out (1995). It was my favorite game for the longest time even though it was really hard. I just recently got it to work on XP (without using emulators of any kind) and played it. It's so freaking hard! I can't even gat back to the rank I was when I was younger because I keep getting shot down and captured.

I prefer the longsword. When I compared the two the longsword was the best, in my opinion. No, I didn't do weeks of testing or use some fancy equation, I just spent a few hours comparing killing ice giants and that's the result I got.

That's where my friend found it, then told me about it. That was nearly 5 years ago. And what difference does it make? Are people who see the game outside of Miniclip or Addicting Games really that mature anyway? No.

1) Why are you posting an opinion on some other persons name. Nobody wants to know what you think about somebody else if its negative. You could kind of call that Runescape prejudice. And on another note if there's a rant forum, go there. 2) I'm using your names as examples that mains names sucks too. 3) Apparently this thread was over, looking by most of the above posts. 4)My name sucks, well look at yours. I've seen numerous people make fun of your name that have been shown this topic and read it but don't have an account here. Not going to mention names, even though nobody would no them. You're taking this a little too personally. I think that the bottom line of this post is that some pure names, like the ones in the first post, are a little redundant. Whether they are good names are not is solely an opinion and by saying that someone else's name sucks so that makes yours good is a shot below the belt. So he doesn't like your name. Big deal. Get over it. But he does have a point that a lot of pure names are ridiculously similar and really repetitive. Don't pull that 5 year old "nuh uh, yours does" crap and next time don't use the words "owned" or "noob" in a sentence. It makes me sick.

I recomend F.E.A.R. You can buy the Platinum Collection for $20 and it includes the original F.E.A.R. and the two expansions: Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. Granted it has aged kinda poorly (still looks really good on high settings) and the expansions aren't that good, but come on, it's 3 games for the price of one and the original is really good.

Bingo. "The Final Solution" was implemented in 1942, which was after the U.S. had already entered the war. However, construction of the death camps did begin in late 1941, and many jews were killed, but it was kept in secrecy. There were rumors of their existence, but the stories were so horrific that not many people believed them and dismissed them as horror stories. For the wireless mouse: I agree. Do not buy one. I had one back when I was a Runescape addict. Several times I nearly died because my mouse's connection started to fail. I later bought a USB mouse and a year and a half later it has never failed me :thumbsup: I use a Logitech v450 wireless mouse and I have never once had a problem with lag, connection problems, or failing batteries. In fact, it's twice as good as my desktop's wired mouse. But my old mouse (Microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 3000) really was awful for games.
