I have said previously in this thread that I have gained 100% Ep twice since the new bounty hunter system. I have bad luck, so didn't expect anything good. I didn't get anything good, and I am partially glad of that. I infact lost money overall for having to lose money for friends each time. You pick only what you want out of someone's reply to argue about, why not give it a go to everything else of yours that I replied to? And see how much bs you're typing! :x

And gp will never become that worthless at the rate 26king is bring it..at my level(121ftp) it averages to 750k-1m per hour...and thats items and gp....not gonna kill this game, I should just quit talking because in the end it doesn't matter. You can put your little signatures in, you can riot in world 23, you can knock on Jagex's door...they are going to do what they feel is right for the company.. The majority of people on here can say that in a day, in the amount of 26k'ing they do they probably average more than 3million Gp per hour. I know I have friends that are getting roughly 15-20M per day. Inflation is going to ruin this game, for now, anyway. They're way too high, it's ridiculous. And if you don't want to 26k, you get left back in the dust. Therefore what you currently have is worth half, possibly less than what it was prior to this update. You say that bloods should be most profitable. They may be the highest level rune to craft, doesn't mean there's a high demand for them. Or wasn't, anyway. Nature runes are most profitable because you get double per essence. Nature rune's are currently 224gp. Pure essence: 134gp. Profit per rune, below 91 Runecrafting is 90gp per rune. (314gp profit currently per essence at 91 Runecrafting and above.) Blood rune's price: 308gp and rising. Pure essence: 134gp Profit per rune, 174gp. From the above, it is pretty clear that Runecrafting bloods is more profit per essence. Perhaps more people choose to Runecraft natures because they can use the Graahk. Blood runes on the Grand Exchange weren't sellable at minimum around a month ago if I remember correctly. Blood Rune: 293gp 308gp 323gp (Today: +8gp 30 Day: 33gp [+12%] 90 Day: 33gp [+12%]) 180 Day: 33gp [+12%]) It's clear by the above that the only time they've been rising is this month. Player killing once was something people did purely because of the enjoyment and potential risk. It was never because of the massive profits one could gain. Take it back to the Bounty hunter times (Back in the crater in the wilderness) people did it for the enjoyment and potential profit. Not that they know they're going to make a massive amount per kill. Inflation clearly is having a massive effect on this game, one that hasn't been seen anytime recently with any updates. Jagex know this is a huge problem, hence what Mod Mmg said about it. This isn't right for the company, as it's affecting everyone while these people who are abusing the game are getting rich. :thumbdown:

It really seems that N64jive is trying to twist peoples words around. Whenever someone gives an example, you make it seem okay because the people who collect these raw materials are getting more profit. You yourself said you can get 700kgp worth from killing dragons in an hour. It's to my knowledge (From reading your posts) that you 26k. 3M per hour > 700k per hour. You do it, you know that. When Soulattacker for example said that 99 prayer is now a crazy 140Mgp, at MINIMUM, you said yeah it's great..No it's not. Don't be ridiculous. yuriqiu says that Runecrafting will soon be a skill with little profit. No-one that can afford 99 magic the fast way will do it with High alchemy. We all know there are much faster methods, and now that money's so easily obtained in Runescape people will use these methods. Take a look at the prices of the other runes, Chaos, Death & Blood. They're all rising, and not buyable at max. Chaos are used to 26k, but they've got a price cap on the Grand Exchange because of the price they have rose to. Death runes and blood runes are used for casting ancient magick spells most of the time, I'm pretty sure that's why they're rising because people can afford to blow money on these now luxury's. I do hope there's an update this week (1 day left in this week, I know..)but it'd be nice if it was nerfed so folks won't have 2 days over the weekend knowing they can gain max profits..AGAIN. If Jagex go further and make this against the rules, it'll be even better. Considering forums etc won't be able to be used to arrange such things and neither with Internet relay chat servers. Considering they abide by Jagex's rules too.

A slight decrease in supply beacuse the people that did Gwd before have no stopped because Pvp "26k"'ing is better money. They get money from there, and buy items they were working for. E.g, Bandos armour, Godswords etc.

How can an economy get stronger if nothing new is being put into it under than millions of gp invested into items ultimately raising their price to a new high? People realise that this "26k'ing" is more profitable than things like Gwd, so they're doing it! That means, a slight decrease of the supply of items from there that is also contributing to their sky-rocketing prices. I've friends in a channel commited to Gwd saying "We won't be doing Gwd until Pvp is fixed", basicly translates to "Lets make the most amount before it's nerfed", which everyone knows is coming. It's a sad sad time. Someone alching Magic longbows all day would bring in over 26.5m, which has been around over 5 years, and that takes 55magic is all. Also, when I get a good pvp drop, only about half of it is from statues..the other half is ussually something like dragonstone bolts or onyx bolts+other items. Yet all of sudden you start worrying about? Please! Please trust us who have been here a while, the game is not going to end from inflation. However, 26king does need to be fixed, I just pray that jagex doesn't legit pvp drops. What you're saying is ridiculous. Be it from statues, or other expensive crap that you get it's still going to be sold, and still by most people pumped into a "high level item", thus causing them to rise. That'd be a good idea, considering 100% ep gets you = 4 kills which would be 800k. However, most of the time (For many people, anyway), it's far over 1Mgp from 100% Ep.

Simply looks to me like merchants pushed it to the limit. :roll: (Which, I am 100% sure that they did..) Edit: That going so cheap is of benefit to many people, it's not causing harm. People don't hunt the monsters in Tzhaar purely for the drops, they range them because they may get some profit from it. Not only that, but merchants AND the fact that was a pvp drop is why it has dropped so much.

Inflation like this is ruining RuneScape, I couldn't agree more with Ts Stormrage. People are saying, it is okay considering money is easier to get now so won't bother many people. I personally hate Pvp, I've gained 100% Ep twice, and used it. I admit to that, both times gaining ~300k, I rather socialise in Edgeville than ruin the economy anymore. Folks are also saying now that doing things for raw materials is now more profitable, eh, no it isn't. And really was Never profitable. What good is something if it has rose, yet, everything you wish to achieve in this game that are items have also rose? Sharks etc are down, why? Because people don't need food to gain Ep. All the Pk'ers that would once consume 100's of these per day, are now just "26k'ing", or "Farming brawlers" (Just another way to say you're 26k'ing). It's pathetic. If I wish to get more Gp than I already have, I will have to return to merchanting/manipulation, which I once used to do on a large scale, I don't want to do that. We all know how messed up RuneScape is because of this, I don't wish to contribute to it anymore. I've played my part, and regret it (Somewhat).

Says the lvl 86 who I guess was poor to start with. I've seen a kid in here go from 10mil to 100mil+ since statue release and that makes me rage. As someone who's made triple digits in coins since the update I still say like I did the day drops were changed a major nerf is needed 1-1.5m consistently is not fair. This is the kind of thing that pisses me off, big time. One that's in need of cash can spend 6 months Runecrafting and get rich, and have actually earned every damn last piece of it yet you get idiots now (Not yourself, Britonlongbo, but the ones who brag about this and say they support it) and make that money in a small few weeks. It's a joke, and something HAS to be done. This kind of things makes folks that have spent all their time accumulating the wealth they put time into look poor. Plain and simple. A friend recently said to me, who has 99 Runecrafting, that he would simply love to quit because of this as what he earned now can be got in a week by an idiot who claims it's hard work. It would make my day if Jagex made this against the rules. Only time will tell.

I don't think this is the case. Why should Jagex cater to people that choose to restrict what they can do in the game? It's their own choice, their Risk! If you don't want to get the level up, be more careful. You've chosen to be a pure, then you have to deal with it if you get a defence level accidentaly. Or can't do a quest because it gives exp in defence, that's your own choice.

Ugh.. At last!! I got the last ~215k exp from stunning. 86-89 was ice burst at soul wars, some alching too. (less than 60k exp worth). Tried pot barrage, lasts ~10 seconds. :(
