Slim/straight cut chinos (not necessarily in khaki), and wool flannels are good bets. Not trackpants. Dark indigo jeans also work. Corduroy. Google "pants to go with sportcoat" And take your jacket in to be tailored.

I've just come back to this thread and been floored by the quality of your work. What I appreciated the second time around was your composition: You've found the perfect balance in almost all of these shots.

To be honest, I'm going to disagree with these comments regarding over-exposure. Firstly, your photos are all exposed well, but yes, in many, the sky is over exposed. What navyplaya, and soa brushed over were the fact that your overexposure of the sky is a stylistic feature of the shot, and moreso, an element of personal style developed over years of photography. I personally like over exposed skies by a stop or two, it brings balance to the photo.

Roughen up your hands through physical work. Allow your fingers to get calluses, and you'll be better for it. Tougher hands.
