"We're whalers on the moon. We carry a harpoon. But there ain't no whales so we tell tall tales and sing a whaling toon." Relevance.
  2. Please mods, let this thread live
  3. Someone like to explain how this already got 181 pages?
  4. Most people play on PC. Add me: movnviol
  5. Ran forward and fired off a "beginning of the round" shot on Rundown, and got a headshot through a wall.
  6. Kind of embarassing to make this thread so soon after the last one, but here goes. I just finished making a vid, and in the timeline, it works alright. However, when I publish it, a large amount of the video keeps its audio, but visually, it's just a black screen. Any help? I've tried making it into different file types, different sizes to compress it to, etc, but nothing seems to work. Thanks.
  7. I agree. I'm fine with people following a religion, and I am aware of the possibility that they may even be right, but when you get a little kid who just says what you tell her to say to advertise something she doesn't understand, it's just horrible. If someone is going to tell me about religion, I want it to be someone who has at least examined their beliefs.
  8. Is there ever a cold day in California? :D
  9. I did update. I did a system restore to earlier in the day and it appears to work ok now. Thanks!
  10. Does it give you the buff even if you're not charging? If not, I would think the pyro could just airblast your charge, then light you up.
  11. This could be a good thread, but its brought down by supercannons.
  12. It's quite a bit. The maximum I have to record with is about 70 gigs, and thats with FRAPS, which doesn't compress the files. I had a thread a while back asking why my hardrive was so full, and when I found the FRAPS folder I had used a long time ago I realized it had like 300 GB worth of video on it. Gah, point is, 900GB of free space is alot. To get the topic back on track, does the Targe have any use without the Eyelander?
  13. What? A response to what Nick posted? Not starting another what chain.
  14. Yep. Be warned though, recording is hard on your computer, and can take up alot of space.
  15. Hi. Won't type much, raging too hard. 1. Windows Movie Maker (default version that comes with the comp) has always worked fine, but for some reason, 5 minutes ago it decided to go on strike. If I attempt to do anything other than import files, that is, record sounds, play a clip, etc, it will freeze and crash. Was working fine one second, [bleep]ed up the next. 2. Pinnacle studio is me recording/editing program for console games. At the same time as MM, it got screwed up too. Only loads to 45 percent. Worked fine 20 minutes ago. On top of that, several other programs seem to have taken on the same problem as MM. Thanks in advance for help.

  17. A good pyro can ruin an uber, deflect rockets and pipe/sticky bombs, and push enemies off of control points, very useful on Steel, Badlands, Gravelpit, and Nucleus.
  18. Aw, you're a better spy than I, I can tell you that. My record life is 9 backstabs, one revolver kill, and a sentry, dispenser, and tele that were undefended for some reason.
  19. Me shooting down a harrier, an attack helicopter, another harrier, and a pavelow, as soon as they entered the map, one right after the other resulted in some colorfully worded jeers in the lobby afterward
  20. Yep. With cloak and dagger I usually like to sneak behind enemy lines, make my way to the front, backstab a few guys that are in combat, make my escape, and hide in a nearby corner until either another battle starts and I can move in again, or I can make my way back to enemy spawn to repeat the cycle.
  21. I mainly prefer the cloak and dagger because you can stay out of sight for longer, which allows you to choose where you decloak. Alot of the time with the watch I have to make an emergency decloak RIGHT BEHIND THEM. It's pretty exciting, but I haven't had as much success with it.
  22. Really, the regular watch is vastly superior to the cloak and dagger, even the deadringer is better. Yeah. The watch is a ton better, I get a lot more done with it. Unless you play on a map where the enemy spawn doesn't have any ammo crates, then you're in trouble. The cloak and dagger allows you to take your time. The only advantage I've seen with the regular watch is that it encourages you to move quickly.
  23. Any idea how to get the Cloak and Dagger back? Steam deleted it for some reason and I'm having a hard time playing without it...
  24. New Youtube channel, Gaming for the Gamers. This is a channel dedicated to showcasing not just my gaming experiences, but the collective experiences of all gamers. I'm currently working on a system to allow people to submit their own videos to be posted. So far there are two seperate playlists, Team Fortress 2 and Halo 3. This will grow and expand as new videos are brought in, as any and all games will be shown. http://www.youtube.com/user/GamingForTheGamers
