Today I was trying to make a list of good world leaders, and found a picture of Mikhail Gorbachev. Then I realized something that just completely ruins him forever.

Finished 1984 last week, now starting Thinner. Haven't read a Stephen King story since The Dark Half a couple of years ago.

Teachers that only use the "method" of giving us note packets that are basically the whole lesson with every 10 or so words cut out, and we spend the class going over a powerpoint of the exact same packet and we fill in the words. So like, if the packet says "All elements in group 18 have 8 ________________." Then the class would watch the powerpoint presentation and wait for it to display "All elements in group 18 have 8 valence electrons" and fill in our blank. In the end, it requires no thought whatsoever, and we end up memorizing a series of words rather than learning how and why something works.

What if enough people are influenced by a group to the point where it could potentially spread? Not agreeing or disagreeing, just playing devil's advocate.

I've been thinking this over for a while now, and still haven't come up with a satisfactory opinion. In a nutshell, should people in a free society have the right to feel and express hate against a group or person, even for seemingly unjustified and/or irrational reasons? This came about from thinking about hate groups like Westboro Baptist Church and the Ku Klux Klan. Should a government body be able to ban such groups, or crack down on them with arrests for such activities? Would it be justifiable for a citizen to bomb or otherwise violently oppose such a group? I frequently watch videos on Westboro, and always end up thinking "I really wish these idiots would just burst into flame already". But regardless, attacking them would be terrorism, and is terrorism ever justified? Not to mention how many of their members are children, and never had a chance to know any better. In cases like this, should the government be allowed to take away these children for re-education?

What kind of cereal do you eat to cut your gums? Kibbles n' Tacks? Ever tried Captain Crunch? Yeah, but I used my teeth. Oh god I lol'd.

That was all they had, I'd heard about the online pass and wanted to make sure, they said it would be fine. And October is recently released? Doesn't matter anyway now, returned it and now I'm probably going to get GTA V when it comes out.

That's the problem. It IS second-hand (or I assume, from the lack of plastic), but they sold at only just below full price, and there was no sticker. I had a giftcard cancelling out most of the cost, so price wasn't a major issue, but I am not in the mood to pay an additional fee to use a game I already bought. It would only total a little more than full price, but I feel like I'm being cheated, so probably I'll just return it and wait for GTAV.

Lift weights instead. This. You'd be surprised how good you'll feel after a day or two.

Gamestop is usually pretty good to buy from, awful to sell to (which hasn't bothered me, I keep all my games). But it's unlikely they're going to give me the pass. After all, they charged $2 under full! What did you expect, oh silly customer? I'll see if I can get it, but if not, I'm just returning it and getting something else. Any recommendations, if that happens?

Last Week: "Yeah man, it really sucked, I was bleeding profoundly." On that note, I hate when someone makes what seems to be a really stupid mistake like that but there's no good way to correct them.

Bull, it's a used game, every single game on the shelf (20+) was open, I have a feeling the result would have been the same no matter which one. They were all about $2 under full, as if to justify it. Months after the game came out. And EA is not innocent either, the very fact that games COST $60 is intended to make up for lost sales. This is them cashing in and trying to discourage people from buying used.

It was on a giftcard (partially), I literally can't get it anywhere else. Probably just going to take it back, and if I can't get a new copy, just get something else. I will never buy an EA product again.

You did buy it new, yes? So the Gamestop employee said when asked, since I was suspicious that the plastic was gone (the entire shelf was that way). Either way, major dick move on the part of EA. I really want to play this game, but out of sheer principle I don't think I can. I will not pay an extra $10 to USE a product I already bought.

I think I'm taking this piece of shit back. It's telling me my code, which came with the game, has already been redeemed (bullshit), but, don't worry, you can pay $10 for a new code! Well [bleep] off, EA, I'm not paying $10 to play a game you already sold me at full price, and made me install 3GB of updates for.

So I got it today on 360, it asked me if I want to download HD content. Should I? It already looks amazing, and I don't want to melt my Xbox.

Secret: Until I was about 8, when school and TV would always recite the "America is a free country" line, I always pictured every other country besides the US as being entirely made up of small villages populated by 18th century peasants that were constantly abused by British redcoats.

Everyone has a right to be treated. After all, a good justice system is about rehabilitation rather than punishment, and that includes physical rehabilitation. Of course, if they repeatedly wind up in the hospital for the same thing, then it's a little more of a tricky situation.

In a similar question, why is this not worth getting for PC? Is it the Origin crap? It's not that it's not worth it, I just don't have the reqs to run it on good settings. And the stupid anti-piracy stuff they made me do with Spore. That too.

Is this worth getting now on 360? PC is not an option for me.

Hmmm, seems to blackscreen MC after the login. How do I install it? I've been putting the file in the minecraft.jar, and META-INF is deleted.
