  1. That sounds like amazing fun, keep us updated  My cousin runs a server that we play on since February, and it's gotten pretty big. Currently contains our versions of the village of Freeport, New York City, and three private vacation houses. Some pics: We make full use of it, too. It has an actively reproducing population of villagers, wolves are the KKK, and ducks are the Illuminati.

Because Florida is such a terrible shit hole? A) Hate the sun. B) We're driving there. From New York. C) Not a moment to myself for what will end up being three weeks (None this week, won't have any time alone until May 11th).

Going down to Florida for a week. This is going to suck.
  5. Question for my school, both students and teachers: What is so difficult about placing books on a shelf so as not to resemble the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina?
  6. That song is amazing, really want to play that game now.
  7. Teachers that: 1. Explain a topic, but refuse to explain why it works. Happens in science and math classes mostly, though it shows up in ALL of them. 2. History specific, when teachers simplify historical events into freaking cartoon versions, and almost always painting the US in a better light. 4."Tricks" to help you memorize information, even though said tricks don't actually give you an understanding, just a series of words to remember. 3. All of my previous complaints about English and a thousand more. I mostly hate these things because what they say to me is that we're not here to learn, we're here to get test scores.
  8. Video is best, but if you don't want to risk it, you're much less likely to get caught with an audio recorder, though the evidence isn't as good.
  9. I raged just reading that story, but as Randox said, just keep moving up the ladder one by one. Keep us updated, I'm interested to hear how this turns out.

Just chillin', watchin' Night at the Museum 2 when suddenly... Mother of God. This man cannot be in anything besides TWD for the same reason that Mark Hamil can only voice act now.

Discovered something fun you can try on Facebook today. This idea came after seeing an argument go on in a status, and at the end the person who's page it was on deleted all of the posts against her and her responses to them. How to turn into entertainment: Go to their wall and write "We have always been at war with Eastasia."
  12. This guy, I think he's a local (NYC/LI) business, not sure. Though I have to admit I kind of like the cheesiness of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlTzSl-IUow
  13. First successful orbit. Thanks Albel, for posting the guide vid.
  14. The video player on my Walkman. It advertises on the box that it plays video, but only MP4. Good luck finding out which version, and getting a good converter program.
  15. Woot, this update fixed my lag

I'm not really scared of creepy movies/stories, so I'll watch the Marble Hornets series for a few days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bn59FJ4HrmU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BsPPQSwdVw&feature=relmfu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLIpL26ztFo&feature=relmfu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE8aZZx1dTI :ohnoes: Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so...
  17. The Blair Witch Project - I love these minimalist horror films. Think I'll go read into the Slenderman mythos because of it, I've heard Marble Hornets is good.
  18. Insidious - Had a few decent scenes, but although it wasn't as bad as most horror films, relied WAY too much on jump scares. Dead End - I still hold Dead End as an example of what I think a good horror movie should be. It can be streamed on Netflix if you're interested.
  19. The fact that in school, and in public in general, I have to breathe extremely lightly, which gets pretty uncomfortable after a while, because the smell of other people makes me sick. Not to mention how such close proximity makes me really uncomfortable.
  20. Lately I've been having dreams that weren't quite lucid, but that haven't had the "suspense of disbelief" effect that dreams usually have. As in, I was able to interact with and think about things, and could see weird things and go "wtf?", and generally could feel and act as normal, just as I feel right now, but not enough to wonder how I got there.
  21. Teachers that look at their entire class or classes as a single entity. ex. Steve throws a pencil. Teacher tells him that he cannot get a drink for the day. Sarah wants to get a drink, and is denied. The teacher tells her that these are the consequences of throwing a pencil. Happens a LOT with a few of my teachers.
  22. Research papers. The nuke of school projects.
  23. I believe the death penalty is vastly more humane than life imprisonment, and that if we have the right to ruin the remainder of a person's life, then we also have the right to end it.
  24. People that form conversation clusters in the middle of the hall. I've actually started making classification systems for them. Stupidity in individual clusters is measured by the number of people compared to how far from the wall they jut out. For example, if there's 10 people in a cluster, and they stand against the wall and jut 2 feet into the hall, that's somewhat reasonable, as they're at least making an attempt to maximize space. If there's 5 people that jut 8 feet into the hall, it's like they're making an effort to congest the halls as much as possible. Density is measured by stupidity of clusters compared to number in a hive, or hall. Usually in a short-medium hive, there's about 6 or 7 small clusters. The very longest one contains only about 3 or 4 clusters, but they have very high stupidity. While they have far more people than any other cluster, they still make no effort to compress and stick to the sides. In some cases, this even leads to clusters on either side of the hive that meet in the middle, effectively blocking off main routes, and usually require you to put together a team to break through them.
