Going to use my sister to explain two types of people I hate. First and mostly, short-sighted people of all kinds, but usually when it comes to spending. Today my sister bought Super Meat Boy on Steam, despite having heard that it doesn't control well on PC. "I know", she said, "but I don't have an Xbox and I really want to play." Fair enough. So she buys it, and complains that she doesn't like the controls. She asks me if I have one of those PC controllers. I had an old one lying around, so we hooked up, and after a few minutes she complains "It's too much like a PS2 controller, I'm used to Xbox!" Now she wants to buy one that's closer to the Xbox. She'll end up paying all of that money for something she'll only use for one game, which she'll undoubtedly find too hard and give up on within a week or two (she has a tendency to die two or three times and declare a game impossible). I told her she should have held off on buying it if she wasn't sure of it, and she responded with some wonderful logic: "Well I don't have an Xbox, so I didn't have a choice!" In general, she's someone who will see a trailer and pre-order, buying things just after seeing an advertisement. After all, the commercial said it was awesome! To end this segment, she is currently convinced that the Kinect is a great product, and is saving up for an Xbox and the Kinect because of two games that she wants. Second, posers. This one doesn't require as much of an explanation. Suffice it to say, despite having never liked it in her life, when it became popular to like Pokemon, my sister decided that it was her entire childhood. /rant
