But a fetus is not conscious. It cannot feel. It cannot think. It cannot regret losing the life it may have had. A woman has all of these things. She is conscious. She can feel the emotions of helplessness. She can think of all the problems it will cause down the road. She can regret sacrificing the rest of her life to care for a child.
  2. Pro tip: Play on Peaceful mode. Peaceful doesn't save you from lava, and besides, then you cant make TNT.
  3. This game is frustrating me. Every time I get ready to leave with a good supply of iron I die somehow. Really puts me off from playing this game.
  4. Sorry, it's been a long time and I never wanted to bump this without something new to add. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much progress in the way of pictures or anything, but I do have more to say, and I felt it was worth it, though this thread will probably die again for a while. Oh well, time to lay out the news. The Amityville Horror We have confirmed that, despite some serious doubt on my part, the pics I posted earlier ARE of the right house. I was sure we'd have to go back and find the real one, but comparing some images in old pics of the branches on trees and the house to the right proves that we got it right the first time. Church House -There are two trees on either side of the driveway. On each we found some torn and faded police tape that we failed to notice before. -We got a name from the trophy in the house, and a search for the name found a high school teacher in a school around here, and another teacher of the same name (presumably the same person), teaching in the town I used to live in! Sweet Hollow Road I felt bad for bumping this without much to say, so I decided to sweeten it with a new location, and one that we could, unlike the asylums, very easily do. What do I even need to say about Sweet Hollow Road? It has Mt. Misery, where supposedly two hospitals or a school, according to legend, burned to the ground, as well as an overpass that served as a ceiling for a double suicide by hanging. Throw in the infamous black dog of death, the ghost of Mary, a common phantom hitchhiker story, and a cop missing half his head that pulls over drivers, and we have a fun location to take a look at.
  5. I don't get people that don't like the gore  I'll probably end up liking this movie.

An eye for an eye is perfectly fair for an individual person, but it doesn't work as an absolute system. ex. Steve kills Bob's family. An eye for an eye would give Bob the right to kill Steve's family, and that's not fair. After all, it was Steve that committed the crime, not his family. So sure, Steve will feel the same thing Bob felt, but the punishment extends to people that don't deserve it. Tbh, I have no idea how to punish people for minor offenses. But look at all the people that are serving life sentences. Living for free with taxpayer money, and the government has no intention of ever releasing them. Why? I say kill them and harvest the organs to be given to people on waiting lists. If we actually end up with a surplus of organs, export.

Although it's well below the general level of this board, I want to ask something that has been bugging me ever since I first read the Chronicles of Narnia series back in early 2007. Is it just me, or are several of them completely [bleep]ing unnecessary? The Horse and His Boy and Voyage of the Dawn Treader come to mind.

Been watching Dexter all weekend. Really interesting show, especially the flashbacks. On part 6 now.
  16. I have to bring this up again. Prices are based on supply and demand, so how can you charge for something with infinite supply?
  17. My world at this point. I got bored, and started a TON of building projects.
  18. Finished a minecart track that goes from the lava room to the bedrock level. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to make it come back up afterward. Also made some lava-y changes to the lighthouse. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO5BsYE3exs
