  1. Wow, they N made it onto the consoles? Sweet!
  2. Oh god, that is the best thing I have ever seen. I practically died of laughter in the first chorus. I don't understand. I cringed from the begining.....

Have you read Enders Shadow, because it's the same time as Enders Game? I'm trying to read Ender's Shadow, but because I've already read through everything that happens in Ender's Game I'm really not interested. But I have to push along just because I am sure there will be quite a bit of extra story that I need to know to move onto Shadow of the Hedgemon. Needed a book for the plane to Florida, and something to read in my free time there, so while shopping with my Mom at Sam's Club decided to pick up Public Enemies. Looks like a good historical book, it's told in more of a story format so you learn while reading an exciting story. It's not like the movie though, I guess the movie is kinda based on it. Looks good, talks about Dillinger and all the other gangsters, along with the birth of the FBI. Tell you in a couple weeks whether it's worth a read or not. I've read Ender's Game, it was much different than a lot of things I've read. (Naked shower battles?) I haven't been able to find any of the sequels anywhere, though. And about Public Enemies, I didn't know that was a book. Can't someone come up with an original story, instead of all these books being made into movies? People will think they won't have to read anything! I've read both of those books, too. I was surprised how different the movie was (For Jurassic Park, I mean). They changed so many things. Andromeda Strain had a dissapointing ending. [hide=*Spoiler Alert*]Quick, we've go to find a way to stop this thing from ending the world! Nevermind, its not harmful anymore[/hide] I also read The Lost World, the sequel to Jurassic, but it just wasn't as good.
  4. Why do you think that adding a question mark to the end of a sentence makes it a question?
  5. Thats just.......ewww... I'm imagining it to be something like trading Pokemon cards......
  6. ^that pretty much sums it up.
  7. And it's 9.50 here. It always amazes me how the states seems to have low minimum wages when they are a country that has a higher cost of living. Any way, ya talk to your boss. If he says no though, I don't suggest quiting, unless your job is actually very crappy. A job is a good thing right now. Min is 12.55 here, but in terms of conversion, AU -> US, Its proberly 6-7$. Which is stupid as things are rising, jobs being lost and we get low pay to afford rising costs (Fail World atm) That's weird, I thought I heard somewhere that Australia was doing surprisingly well during this recession.

 Do people go to bookstores just to make out?
  9. Really? I remember watching the first one and it was really cheesy and stupid. I can't imagine how much the fourth one could be. :ohnoes:

  11. Do you just attract misfortune?
  12. I just made a grilled cheese sandwich, and one of the slices of bread I used was the first one! :ohnoes: It tasted fine to me.

Today I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich. It was pretty good, but I should've used more cheese.
  14. ^good song Got to get you into my life by The Beatles
  15. Wait, so now we have to be prepared for the zombie and human threats?
  16. Is the answer to number 3 [hide=]fire?[/hide]
  17. Peter Jackson and George Lucas? How can they fit that much epic into a movie?
  18. They were fine until they started screaming. :wall:
  19. [hide=] You have heard like 3 or 4 songs I'm guessing? Btw, listen to some folk metal. You mean electric banjos? What the hell are you talking about? "Numerous folk metal acts include a dedicated violinist in their line up." "The tin whistle and flute can be found in such Celtic metal bands" "Some bands are also known to highlight more exotic instruments from their ethnic background or country" Just a few excerpts from Wikipedia. And plus most doesn't talk anything about killing (In depth at least) So that's another plus for you. Also normally the vocalists dont really growl as much but a scratchy singing (I dont know how to describe it) [/hide] That doesn't mean they don't use electric banjos -.-
  20. You have heard like 3 or 4 songs I'm guessing? Btw, listen to some folk metal. You mean electric banjos? EDIT: Just listened to some folk metal. It was a band called Skyclad. Its, uh, interesting, to say the least.
  21. Or meth. No more nicotine!
  22. Ouch. Why do these bands think they need to diverge so much from the original?
  23. I don't like it because from the songs I've heard, it's all just a bunch of guys with long hair screaming into a mike along with heavily distorted guitars.
