Future Update Discussions
The reason Lumbridge gets a make over so often is that its the first area of the game any new player will see. Similar for the rest of the f2p area, most new players will spend a lot of their time running around and Jagex want them to keep playing. They are after all a business. Every so often they'll redo a members area like Zanaris or the upcoming Fremmenik update but there's no point in redoing mostly members area if the f2p looks crap and no one becomes a member. If the game doesn't look aesthetically competent compared to other modern games, most new players wont give it the time of day. They do a pretty good job with the member areas updates and I agree that some of them will be amazing when there done. I'm disappointed that I'll have to wait as a paying member so they can draw in only potential paying customers. f2p already looks good though. This just tells me that they have no faith in their product and don't think that the content will keep people playing.

Future Update Discussions
I'm a big fan of graphical updates but why does JaGex update the free world areas so frequently? Lumbridge has been done about 9001 times and the rest of the free map seems to take priority with graphical updates. Not really complaining here, just wondering why areas that already look fine keep getting tweaked when other areas that could really be amazing remain untouched. inb4: makin dat paper

dot TK is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Tokelau, a territory of New Zealand located in the South Pacific. Most dot tk sites are phishing sites though. I wouldn't trust him.

anyone know how to set up a google earth style thing if the someone had the images? something where you can move around a large image of the RS map in HD. like this: http://server.minecraftaddicts.com/map/- Infinite Gold Glitch
What a poorly made fake.- 20-Apr-2011 - Dungeoneering Guide Competition
You were rank 1 on the first day then yeah?- 19-Apr-2011 - Items Kept on Death Changes
jagex should have added the new trees everywhere instead of adding new rocks. I understand that this is a huge task however, so I wont complain too much. I would love to see an "expansion" where jagex goes through and makes the map look amazing. The whole map. When was the last time the tree gnome stronghold got updated? The launch of rs2? new sounds are cool and the items kept on death are fine as well.- Infinite Gold Glitch

bittttttcoin- Is anyone else just completely disappointed with everyone?
Hey all, just wanted to clarify our motivations for separating from tip it. Mainly, we felt a lack of support from the administration. Some of them are great people with a strong vision for RS community building. But at the core, we felt some serious issues: -- Mods and admins were retired from RS and out of touch with the modern content-focused ('efficient') community -- Didn't post on the most popular forums often and, again, were out of touch with their primary userbase -- Supported moderatory action which was uncalled for and unjust -- A lack of a transparent and reasonable moderatory process -- Didn't take initiative in bettering the forums Because of these problems, which we've observed for a long time, we were thinking of separation from tip it. Grimy was originally intent on this, and I agreed. The halfway point some of us wanted was a separate "efficient" general discussion so that "fun" focused and "efficiency" focused players could talk separately in peace. However, negotiations went sour. Not going to lie, we made a few mistakes on our part, but more importantly we did not feel a strong initiative for change from the administration. They agreed with some of our ideas but didn't give us much feedback. We felt like they were discussing things behind closed doors. Moreover, you know us - we're blunt - and quite frankly angered a lot of the admins, who unfortunately couldn't look over their anger and thus made some pretty personally motivated decisions and statements. These mistakes are regretful and obviously go both ways. Things turned for the worse when they started handing out very unreasonable bans, such as one for xpx for "trolling" Ancient when it was quite obviously joke. Threads got deleted and moved for no apparent reason and without much explanation. It was at that point that separation from tip it was a pretty obvious move. - Developers Console...
