Just the oppostie - how FREE TRADE has destroyed my will to play runescape. Not a big deal if you do blame FT, you are entitled to your opinions, but you have to see where people are coming from when they say you do. OT: I don't really feel changed by this update. I've made faster money than I have in the past but it doesn't make the game feel any less fun that it used to. This may be because I enjoy the "grind" skills or things that you have to pay attention to that don't cost any money. I also have no problem with people coming in to large sums of money very quickly at the duel arena. There is a huge risk involved with staking and there is a good chance that you will end up with less money than you went in with. If you want to take that same risk, do it. Just chillin here scapin'.

This video inspired me to take advantage of the people who wanted to try this out for themselves. After failing to buy any of the shirts off the G.E. I tried my luck at looting pirate implings. I found that you could insta-buy jars for 5k each, and that the loot rate is about 1:20 for the purple shirts. I could then sell these shirts, that had virtually no market, for up to 1m a piece. I ended up selling around 50 shirts at prices over 100k, selling many of them for 1m each. Fun night :) E: I dont suggest doing this now. The shirts no longer sell for 100k each which would be the minimum sell price for you to profit at 1:20 odds. A buddy of mine has like 20 shirts that didn't sell at 50-100k each.

I genuinely feel that non-rushers would like "rush" floors if done with the right team (DGS). The biggest talking points of non rushers seem to be that they enjoy killing every monster in the dungeon, they enjoy skilling and making things in the dungeon, they want to relax and enjoy themselves, and the occasional golvellius post of "I DG slow to DG slow". However, it seems like these thoughts come from bad past experiences. I think that if a non-rusher did a few floors with the clan that I use they would have a new perspective on rushing. You can really get all of the benefits that you were looking for as a non-rusher, as well as faster exp, if you are using a good clan/skype. If you like to kill things in the dungeon, that's great. With a good keyer you will almost always have a GD lined up filled with bad guys to kill. If you want to relax and have fun, that's great. Skype calls usually involve the team cracking jokes and goofing off, and as long as you aren't keying, all you have to do is click a few monsters and ggs when asked. You definitely need to pay attention in a dungeon, but if you follow directions, you'll do fine. Skilling is a bit of a different story because there isn't really a point in making things in dungeons. I still find that I gain considerable skill exp though because of the doors that I have to open. If you say that AFKing is fun, then you don't like to play Runescape. Both rushers and non-rushers are scarred by their past experiences in 117/148. Just remember that you were DGing with the truly terrible there. I challenge all non-rushers to do a few floors with the Dungeonsweeper clan, and I ask any rushers already there to show them what's so great about rushing.

HOLY CABBAGE BATMAN! They're still only 25% done and are already at 19B?!?!? At that pace they're going to be at 75B by the end of this ordeal. I'm no expert, but couldn't jagex look for any level 3 accounts that magicly received a 2B 'donation'? The article said that the guy made the accounts recently so there wouldn't be that many accounts to look through. I say, Jagex lets them hack every single account, then bans all of the mules and lets that 75B GP dissapear into thin air. Oh, and then sues that 14 year old kid :twisted: EDIT: I found this online and it seems to have been written from the other side's perspective. The only interesting thing to me was that Jagex is taking legal action against the guy who stole all those passwords. Assuming that statement is true, I would like to see what kind of punishment, if any, he receives.

I have a small group of people that I am comfortable doing "trust trades" with, and I know that the trust is mutual. I would never take advantage of a friend anyone for personal gain.

It's not a coincidence, it happens all the time with these welfare servers. And guess what, I never talk ingame...would you assume I bot because I have no desire to be 'rs friends' with you? Or socialize or interact with you in any way? When I said "Could be a coincidence though" I was saying that those people might not have been bots. If you knew me at all you would know that it takes A LOT for me to call someone a bot, because I too don't always talk in game. I was just acknowledging the fact that the player drop could have been caused by a bot client crash. Perhaps you are overly sensitive/ defensive because you actually are a botter :wink:

I fully support the idea of an official tip.it DG clan and think that Low C really hit the nail on the head. I think its safe to assume that Jagex doesn't have any plans to improve the exp rates of solo dungeoneering, so it really comes down to how will the players fix this problem. Seeing as its unrealistic to try and teach everyone who uses 117/148 how to DG, I think this clan is the perfect solution. People will only be there if they want to get better at DG, and after it gets going a little, there will be a solid base of good dgers to run floors with. The major problem that I encounter when trying to join teams on 148 (wont touch 117) is combat level discrimination. For some reason people think that because I am lower than 138 combat, I must be a terrible DGer. Seriously, it blows my mind that people will throw aside someone who can do most skill doors and has 95+ Dungeoneering purely based on my combat level. (2286 total - 120 cb)

The fall in the graph could have very well been caused by a bot client crashing. I was fishing at barb on my alt last night around when the player drop happened. There were around 15 people there who weren't talking and it seemed like they all logged at the same time leaving only me and one other person. Could be a coincidence though.
