F2P has the "downgraded" version of a skillcape: The emote. To "upgrade", one acquires P2P services.

Because those skills are the basis of this game. Let's try starting over without those skills. No mining=no essence, pure or otherwise. And as such, no Runecrafting. No ores, no smithing. No woodcutting, no firemaking, no arrows. (I'm fully aware they are also produced as monster drops, however Runescape can't justify removing them from fletching.) No planks either, so no (or not much) construction. No, fishing, good luck PKing with whatever fish it is that you PKers used to eat. Very little advancement available in the cooking skill either. Now, taking away PKing resulted in a better game. Not only that, but it also GAVE us something: Whiny morons like you. Now get your head out of your [wagon] and THINK.

I wouldn't say they're scum.... but..... common sense shows you that the level of begging and general annoyances grow higher when you enter an F2P world. They're not freeloaders, but they don't deserve any members things, i.e. skillcapes.

I totally agree. I'm hopefully getting 99 fletching, and sitting at the GE fletching, I've already been told what a noob I am. It's the same goddamn thing as fishing, I'm clicking and waiting. Jesus, it's incredibly annoying. In fact, the other day, some level 107 who had no 99s came up to me and said, and I quote: "wow lol u noob only getting 909 fletching" And yes, he said "909". I said, well, you don't have any 99s, what makes you so much better? He didn't say anything for a while and then he said "but ur a fletch nob". Then I teled. :wall:

I'd probably like 6-12 more months of economical freedom and the old wilderness than living out the rest of my rs career without them.
