  1. Thanks! Well GE is going to stay so I might still be able to utilize that. Thanks man :) And here's a good 3.6m ;)
  2. Considering they can just send a memo out in the office or hold a meeting
  3. +2.5m Not exactly sure how the free trade is going to effect this blog in the future. Might end up merchanting still, but in a different manner that doesn't involve GE. I've never merched without the GE because pre GE I never had this much cash. Should be interesting though :)
  4. I loved staking back in the day on a friends account and made my own account to stake/box, but unfortunately never finished building it up because of the updates. I will certainly try and rebuild a staking account once they bring it back.
  5. Obviously everyone and their grandma is going to vote yes on this one (with some extreme cases), but I'm not sure how they're going to implement the free trade system. They can't do it instantly or else thousands of items are going to lose their grand exchange value and many people are going to get destroyed economically.
  6. Alright, but be careful because I see they've already risen quite a bit. Once they drop people won't even buy for lowest and you'll be stuck with them for a while.
  7. Nice man I wish I had enough cash to invest in 22 dfs's :P. Yeah I know I'm glad I've kept up with it as much as I have and once I get 300m it'll be the most cash I've ever had. Good luck on 99 construction man ;) Also: +2.9m
  8. GE definitely makes things easier and quicker when it comes to buying and selling items, but it is a pain for merchants who want to make a quick profit. I remember a couple of things before the GE that were a pain. I remember having to go on Runescape forums to see what prices things were in the moderated price thread. Nowadays the prices are listed for us, but merchants can't go beyond a price limit if they find someone who is willing to pay extra. I also remember selling 25000 cooked lobsters in edgeville to pkers for hours on end just to break even for cooking gains. Now I can just go to the grand exchange and put up a bulk amount of items for sale so I don't have to look for a buyer. Overall the GE is a great thing in my opinion, but like others have said its the restrictions that take away from anything positive it has going for it.
  9. Sorry I've been away from a computer the past 2 days. Here's an update of the last merches I've done: +3.6m And updated cash pile:
  10. Pretty sure this topic has been made before. OT: Buying deaths
  11. To highlight on this I have two recent offers I'd like to point out: This first ZGS bought instantly at 16,400,000 so I decided to wait another 10 minutes to keep it buying slowly at its lowest sale price. Nothing happens for the next 10 minutes. My next option was to raise it so I brought it up to 16,500,000 and waited another 10 minutes. Nothing. Repeated what I had just done another 2 times and within 40 minutes I found the actual lowest sell price: 400k above what I had originally bought instantly. The GE is definitely broken. The guy who sold his ZGS for 16,400,000 should have gotten at least 400k above what he sold it for.
  12. Thank you very much :) Yeah I would do combat stuff just because it's much easier to keep track of with all my cash, but it's just too risky right now :/ Definitely start getting into it if you can! Also a small merch overnight: +423k
  13. The way I look at it offers are completed by stock of an item (at different price levels) and time it was bought. For example: Billy is buying whips for 3.1m and put his offer in at 1 PM Jill is buying whips for 3.1m and put her offer in at 1:30 PM Andy is buying whips for 3m and his offer is also 1PM Billy is going to get his whips the soonest because he is buying it for the highest price and he bought it sooner than Jill. The Grand Exchange doesn't give it to him because it see's he has a higher price however. The reason he would get it quicker is because there are more people are willing to sell it for 3.1m than 3m and therefore there is a larger stock of whips for people who are willing to pay 3.1m than there are for people who are willing to pay 3m (Also more people wanting to buy it for 3m). Then it comes down to whether or not the GE gives it to Billy or Jill and this is where chance comes into play. The longer Billy keeps his offer in the GE the higher chance he has of buying the whip over people who are willing to pay the same price. Although this is only a chance and Jill may get lucky enough to buy a whip before Billy, but this is highly unlikely. I assume Jagex put this in so people aren't waiting in line for items as there are thousands of runescape players each day and that line would be long as hell. Pure speculation of course.
  14. Hey man! Good luck on all your goals I'm sure you'll achieve them considering you got 99 rc and that's an insane accomplishment in itself
  15. Total Profit: +1.6m It seems smaller ticket items/items that aren't combat driven are doing well right now
  16. Yeah it's a pretty rough economy. Best to just lay low for now and invest in items that don't pertain to combat. I know right?! Will do thanks :)
  17. Yeah I'm actually kinda afraid to merch anything it's very tough figuring out what's going to happen to items within a few hours. I'm going to try some smaller items today
  18. Imo I don't think the guy was stuck on 1 hp forever he was just lagging. What was really going on was the guy was getting hit with what looked like 0s, but he was actually taking damage and eating accordingly so not to die.
