  1. Because theres loads of solo players who want to have the same ability to resume a dungeon if they happen to get dced or lag out as someone on a team does. Instead of losing alllll the xp for that floor. Also solo floors can take a fair while. You do get some xp back at the end if you leave early, and I lost a lot of xp because of a glitch affecting all of our team which made us crash the game in a large dungeon before. I wouldn't be too bothered about losing 4k or so xp in a small dungeon in which I did a trial run for and it took me 12 minutes (including starting and ending time) to do and I did awful at. :P It'd be nice to resume progress of course but it just seems as though time would be better spent elsewhere. Note the very long time to develop in the diary for something I doubt many people will benefit from.
  2. I don't see why they're spending so much time on solo dungeon saving when they take such a short time to complete. What they really need is an easier way to rejoin large dungeons if all of your partners have chat off (happened to me a few times before), and the ability to recruit new people/change floors without having to all exit and create a new game. The updates look very promising though, the first screenshot looked the most exciting. I hope the next update to dungeoneering is soon rather than "hopefully before the end of the year" like they said as the skill seems to be dying already (it died within the first few weeks outside of W117).
  3. That almost makes me want to play cwars. Almost. It's a mixture of agile armour and dungeoneering armour. <_< I liked the old armour because of the colours mostly, none of the new armour looks like the status symbol that gold Castle Wars armour once was. I guess you can confuse people in game by wearing this armour. :P About the improvements, most rewards are pointless IMO as even 1 token is a lot to spend on something which only lasts for one game.
  4. Yeah, I finally finished the statue for the first time because of this update.
  5. All the prices seem wrong, a shield said it costs 40 but actually costs 60. Someone on the RSOF said they bought something and sold it back for a 10 token profit. :P They must have had the shield before the update and sold the item for a higher price than it said.
  6. Keep solo rushing Sagittare until it drops them? :P I think I got my first arrows by mining all the promethium ore in a large floor, it doesn't take too long as you get 15 arrowtips (you say it's 20 though so you may be right :P) per bar.
  7. i've seen a single soulgazer (it didn't drop anything unique) it drops the hexhunter bow, but only by elimination. We know what all the other slayer monsters drop, not because i've actually seen a hexhunter. They could add more slayer monsters with more drops in batch 2, and AFAIK Soulgazers don't exist yet but Edimus do (seen one before).
  8. For the spreadsheet adamant knives should be there instead of rune darts, they have the same stats and are a lot cheaper. No suprise with the tests though really except I wonder why noone uses MSB anymore.
  9. Mithril / Rune Cane? Save it as a PNG. :P A random image from this laptop, not using my own atm.
  10. I'm the one that buys tons of slaying junk such as bandos and has a low prayer level. :P I do try to piety most tasks though as I just fill a yak with prayer potions.
  11. Another post soon after last but saw a thread about furys so thought I'd post this I dug up from my pictures: Also an outfit I thought looked good in the past. :P
  12. I suspect thats from a dead herb patch? That patch can't die. abrikoos, can you go into more detail on how you obtained that, so I can add it in the guide :P It might be a glitch as someone said before they got a ranarr seed from a spirit weed patch. FTP3 Complete: [hide][/hide]
  13. Found a boss behind a guardian door before. :S I think a previous poster is right because I'm sure I only had bosses behind key doors for a long period of time. And "When searching for a team in the lobby, turn your public chat to hide so you can easily click on the invite when you receive it in your chat window, instead of scrolling through dozens of public spam to try to click it." You can also click on the trade tab to see invites. Otherwise they're nice tips.
  14. I've started getting those recently. :P I keep mine on friends because of the name changing system (I remove people I don't recognise but they may want to talk to me), I have more people who talk to me who can fit on my list, dungeoneering (team mates who want to rejoin, they'd probably type in my username as it's easy to remember) and if anyone wants to talk to me and I teleport just as they ask something so I can PM them.
  15. Very nice stats. Been following you for a while now, since we had some similar stats, but it seems like your just turning into an upgraded version of me now :-) Didn't know you had the money for 99 herblore for instance. Thought those were my stats then. :o
  16. I don't know if anyone's posted this but there's going to be 60 floors apparently: Source: http://www.gamerzines.com/pc/previews/runescape-dungeoneering.html
  17. "Dannni", a friend introduced me to it when it was quiet but now it's full most times of the day. I'm not sure how it started though but a lot of high level dungeoneers use it, and has helped me find teams (didn't use to have a clan world but even now people look to invite purple dots).
  18. Pure KQ Pax is level 3 with 81 dungeoneering, and Toonami is level 99 and is around the same level as you are. People will accept you if they see you around in the chat, have a good level and have a good rep.
  19. Pic of RS: Pics that remind me of RS for some reason: [hide] [/hide]
  20. I think anyone whos willing to spend $125 on a item that offers no benefit, and is there just to look cool and realistically wont be used often except when your standing around showing off DOES need to get some counselling. I mean no one should spend that much money on a worthless item, especially if it brings no benefit. If someone needs to show off in a game, it probably says that there i something wrong with their life outside the game, that or they are extremely addicted not to the game but to the attention they get in the game. You didn't answer the question. If I posted on a thread where someone was talking about spending months grinding to get 200 million XP in a skill, or to get a party hat, saying that I thought they needed to get counselling, everyone would flame me to a crisp. How is spending a lot of money on a worthless item any different than spending a lot of time on a worthless item or a meaningless "achievement"? I guess this is an illustration of how few people understand that time and money are pretty much interchangeable (which explains why people do pointless things like getting 200 million in a skill in the first place). If this item were achieved by spending 250 hours grinding in a minigame instead of paying $125 cash, there would be thousands of players who had it within a month or two. Yet most of those same players would scoff at paying the cash just like people here are, not realizing that they are implying that the value of their time is less than 50 cents an hour. There are people who spend hundreds, thousands or even millions of dollars to collect all sort of things that most people find silly: stamps, coins, artwork, furniture, baseball cards, baseball bats, cars, trucks, flowering bulbs -- you name it. What's the difference? Heck, I think blowing $125 on an e-trinket is silly too, but not as stupid as blowing $125 on getting drunk in a bar, which many people do on a regular basis. At least you don't have to pay this much. :P
  21. He was doing the dart trick under the troll by the beacon, I snipped him on long range with rcbow from bottom, outside of his range. That's why you use Javelins. Unspam images:
  22. You have a chance to get 2 items at once from HAM, I got a clue scroll and got another item at the same time (not sure if you can get 2 clues at the same time :D). It also lets you continue thieving even with a full inventory.
