Weilding a magic/range/melee weapon determines the emote, and other than that it's random I think - so there's too much risk they could equip an item without you realising. It may be profitable to people who host (if it isn't considered scamming, it probably is :P) however, as people may be interested in betting in a Rock/Paper/Scissors type game.

Has anyone else thought about buying some silver ores in anticipation for the smithing update?

That would require him spending time alching, no? I sell them to people who want to alch them then. And I may as well use my GE slots for this because I've never attempted flipping and I'm not likely to do so. :P

Buying cheap stuff off the GE which alchs for more. Decorated rune plateskirts for 30k when they alch for 38,400, and splitbark stuff such as gauntlets which buy for 2k and alch for 3k are good if you have nothing else to use your GE slots for.

Let me guess.People buy them instead of legs? People seem to sell them below their alch price as they think they're worthless so I made around 10-20k on each skirt by selling them to someone who wanted to alch them as I didn't want any mage xp. The guy giving his Armadyl Plateskirt away for free shows this is common. :P

:thumbup: Buying those skirts is good money considering I just have to leave offers in the GE. :P I'm researching some other items too that seem to be good, trying Splitbark at the moment. :P

If anyone wants some cheap armour to PK with, I'd suggest God and Heraldic rune. I managed to buy a guthix plateskirt for 5k gp. :P

Battlestaves and seaweed would be likely to stay anyway, and vials/runes aren't that profitable anymore, if at all. Yak Hides are more like 800k a day and not 500k, so what's your secret? :P EDIT: Most likely broads? :P To answer the OP's question, I think Jagex said that shops will remain the same.

They should just do what they do for Fish Flingers. :P

It is to stop people from manually dropping their items when they're going to die for sure, just to spite the person who's killing them. I guess. Exactly that, dropping items they'd otherwise lose (or protect over other items) so they can often run back and pick them back up when they die. Except that right now, you can't drop anything worth over 1k while in combat...But If that's the reason, I'm satisfied, because it sounds fair. It sounds stupid. :P Instead of the person killing you getting your stuff, your friend can pick your stuff up for you. :P Are there any answers about what will happen to shops? This will affect me a lot because I'm buying 1k yak hides a day atm and selling them for 700gp each (for around 2.5m gp profit/hr, more if I sell the hides for more) and if they add unlimited stock back or something this won't be possible. Also, what about the chaos tunnels? They've moving some stuff out but I haven't read about them. Also, I don't think bringing potions/borrowed into the wilderness hasn't been thought through: what if you wanna go in the chaos tunnels or kill the KBD/Chaos Elemental or something with borrowed dragon claws and overloads? Nothing about these changes sound good to me (they didn't initially either) and If there was a referendum now after seeing the big picture, I would expect it to be pretty close compared to what the results were.

Are you planning to do anything with duel tournaments at all? Are you bringing PJing and tag teaming back? What will happen to those who PK wearing untradable items? Will PVP armour be removed from the game? Are you still keeping the hiscores? Will teleblock remain a spell for F2P?

"Borrowed items may not be taken across the ditch." Same goes for teleporting in. They'll probably do that. :S But what about anyone who wants to use a borrowed item for the KBD/Chaos Tunnels etc?

How can everyone remember great stuff when everything I think about now is better than it was before? :P I died in lumbridge bank before and the guys would only sell my rune amour back at inflated prices and I agreed because otherwise I'd take me ages to buy it back. :P There's the GE at least now so this wouldn't happen but I still think the game is better now than before having played during both time periods. I'll just post about PVP though: IMO, the wilderness isn't going to be anything like it was before anyway by the sound of it - wilderness used to be free of rules and restrictions but they're thinking of banning weapons, armour, prayers, potions etc (http://forum.tip.it/topic/284933-wildernessfree-tradestaking-confirmed/). Combined with the return of PKers struggling to find fights because of non pkers being in the same place, 1 itemers PKing with no risk and being able to get full loots, teleporting without penalty, possibly being able to fight with untradables and getting them back on death, the possible removal of PVP gear, statuettes, and brawling gloves, the removal of being able to fight anywhere on the map, the removal of hiscores and other reasons, I don't see how PvP will be any better than it is at the moment. I also don't think they'll return everything planned in full and they'll be some sort of compromise because over 100,000 people voted no, whom can't be ignored, even though they are a minority. We'll see what happens tomorrow though.

If I offer to sell charcoal for 3m and a friend offers to buy it for more but, after I sell it, they decide they don't want to buy it after all, is that technically scamming? :P Not that I'm going to do that like but...
