I apologise partly for that first floor, thought we had plenty of time then the start of BXPW creeped up on us. :P We probably could have got more xp for the floor too. The information I had found "Level mod is a bonus up to 10% which depends on the number of monsters killed. The full 10% can be obtained by killing all the monsters on the critical path.", however apparently this is incorrect. :S Also in previous events I remember having to log out first for the bonus XP to show up, but it was applied automatically this time. No levels during the BXPW for me so far, just some XP milestones. I may just end up dungeoneering, thieving or woodcutting after I've now finished with herblore for now, as even with the bonus XP, I don't have the motivation to train the few skills I have yet to get 99 in. I got 90 mining and all skills 90+ not long before the BXPW started however. :)

The only way I see lodestones to be useful are those times you forget a teleport when you're Runecrafting or something, so you can get to Edge bank for instance without having to home teleport to Lumbridge first and then teleport using a glory. Most of the time when I teleport I need to teleport to a number of places, such as farm runs, daily runs, JOT runs etc. I hardly ever use the home teleport feature and it doesn't seem to have made much more useful for me, except low level players who don't have access to runes, tele-tabs and the like. The only teleports I can see being useful are the bandit camp teleport (doubt the scrolls from clue rewards will cost 35k each any more :( ), and Lunar Isle and perhaps Port Sarim teleports because of the difficulty in getting to those places. EDIT: Maybe the Catherby teleport for farm runs too on second thought.

Hunting for Medium Clue Scrolls probably. I do that all the time. :shades: You have to make a rune hasta and jump over the shortcut to complete tasks for the achievement diary. Perhaps he just decided to kill a few before he went? My most recent level up:

I got my information from this about Arctic Pines: I'm not alching logs however and just spam dropping as many as I can between logs when needed. I've just been doing arctic pines to 99 (got the level now) but not sure whether teaks are better or not because I hear little other than cutting ivy regarding woodcutting.

I have full Lumberjack, Juju woodcutting flasks, strong woodcutting urns, beavers and an infernal adze. I just want to know which of these two methods is best overall, mostly in terms of XP. If they're close I'll probably go with Teaks as they are more profitable and have the bonus logs too. I've not been able to find a proper answer anywhere and hoping that someone has any good advice here. :) EDIT: Sorry if it was already posted, I only just remembered the search function after posting this.

Thought to share this Summoning method I found on Youtube as it's new to me and thought it may be helpful to others. :)

Thought this was an average level 3 clue... until... :thumbsup: Not bad for ~10 minutes of work. Too lazy to go to the GE for a pic but I think the RS toolbar works just as well for this purpose. :P

I still have you to thank for letting us know about that and enabling me to get my awesome display name :wub: Thanks from me also. <3: Still probably gonna look for more names however. :P I've been looking since someone posted on a different site yesterday but haven't found any inventive names, at least compared to last time a lot of display names were freed up.

Some of the best updates from this don't seem to be posted anywhere: being able to put any untradable potion (including Jujus) in BoB familiars, and being alerted when the Greenfingers aura rewards you with an extra herb from a patch. Not sure how long the flasks will stay 25k each for as it's an easy 1m gp/day at the moment for very little work.

Holiday events have had members only items/parts for what, 4 or 5 years now? It's nothing new. Just more complaining from the usual suspects for no good reason. Only since the start of this year actually with the Wintumber Tree in 2006 is the only exception unless I'm mistaken.

I don't really see the problem, other RS fansites probably copy off others in some way, shape or form - if someone just copies and pastes a whole quest guide or the whole treasure trails guide for instance I can't see it going unnoticed.

Something that I thought was worth mentioning was the new home page that they have shown in the BTS. There seems to be fewer mentions of the game being free now and there is no mention whatsoever on the new home page about it being free to play - I don't see why they aren't advertising that it's a free game to anyone who may come across the site for the first time. :huh:

Nope. :P Was before free trade too. :P Got the skull whilst getting long and curved bones for BXPW. :D Stocking up and hoping to sell for higher in the future, got like 20k potions at the same price so far - 100k then 1m eventually would be nice. :P
