I find DFS useful for tanking dust devils and fire giants in the chaos tunnels with a combat familiar rather than having to use a bunyip (not just the defence but the strength is better because these monsters have no defence). It's also great for range slaying and is the best shield for dragon killing (with the new potions, if they run out you die). My sister range slayed to 99 range and had to make do with a rune kiteshield on most tasks - a DFS would be an obvious replacement here. I bought mine 20m while they were still drops in PvP and don't sell because I'll always find uses for it and want to buy it again. :P If you can afford it you might as well get it because it's the best item in the shield slot for if you need defence without paying billions. Places people use DFS the most are at hellhounds (they hit hard), Armadyl GWD (probably the biggest use of the shield I've seen) and 75 defence pures. :P

Got about 20 spaces free at the moment but it's always on the brink of being full when I slay. :S I use all my stuff too so it's hard for me to get rid of it.

So it's a free 135K (- nature cost)? Apparently so! Yup just did it she gave me one back free of charge. I wouldn't recommend doing it if this is true, you'll probably get banned like the Crystal Bow glitch if you do it often (stop after 1m :P). I still have Glorious Memories to do before this quest, and two quests before I can start the one that came for the new prayers.

Only thing I have. Whats wrong with it? Nothing works with Windows Media Player for me as it only supports a few file types, to get anything to work you have to download tons of codecs - I use VLC media player. To answer your question: No.

If you want to use any prayers piety probably would be better as Tormented Demons don't have much defence. I wouldn't change to a stole as you're giving up too much bonus, and +5 prayer isn't much really, considering you'd probably have 20/25 prayer bonus with a standard gear in fury. This is if you don't use void (I find it too much hassle), I'd probably use a fury with void though as void range doesn't hit often.

Ignore this, Christmas time :D Pretty certain it's the Christmas event (as it's roughly a week before next Wednesday, which is when I suspect it'll be released), but not sure on the second sentance. I think it may a seperate, smaller update (like we've had those bank buttons to deposit all earlier this year).

There's multiple ways - I think before multiple fire capes someone did it with diamond bolts (e), void and eagle eye but I've seen people suggest halberd for 360s and whip for rest with slayer helm. You should do this for Jad though. :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzyL-PENAsY&feature=related

No but you may still have to finish MEP2 to get them assigned as a task (unless that's what you were asking - if you were I don't know).

Dagannoth, Gorak and Warped Terrorbirds > Terror Dogs, Warped Tortoise, TzHaar, Living Rock Creatures and Warped Tortoises I really am unsure which slayer master is best to use though, but I definetly prefer Duradel's assigned monsters. The xp will be close because of the new ring, Jad task and larger assignments (more Abberant Sceptres and Kalphite to cannon etc) compared to more cannonable tasks and more charms.

I'd be careful anyway because even if you click no it can install keyloggers/viruses.

Barbarian training requires strength levels I believe.

95 slayer and doubt I'll use the slayer master because she doesn't assign Dags. :P If someone proves she's faster I probably will though. Got plenty of goals before slayer anyway at the moment (98 fletch, 96 summon, 95 prayer, 96 herblore).

This month we are getting some guild content, a slayer update, a quest and the Christmas Event (they may as well just give us the BTS as they've said what we're getting anyway) and there's four Tuesdays left in the month, so it'd either be one of those? Probably Kuradal as final destination may refer to the films with the same name (death = slayer?) and she as it's a female character (obviously :P). It probably won't be FTP3 this week as it never is when we think it is. :P

Three of the top four require quests to start the skill (and the other requires talking to an NPC to start the skill)...that might be why. :P

It's probably an important NPC because someone posted a video earlier and there was a chat head in the cache. It makes me think she's to do with a quest as it's like Dark Squall in the Chaos Tunnels.

NOT granite as you pray against ranged. Rune kite+ is what I'd wear. It'd be difficult finding a team with only a terrorbird though.

i am failry certain the pray boost ( i think you meant it) has been there for a while. it is just so out of the way no one uses it. also there are better places to get better boosts. og'loog, and seers church w/ the headband ~~~legoman187~~~ I don't get it... you have a detail set off so it looks like you're in the air, or you logged off in an altar and got teled there? (happened to me before with nature altar but it teled me to the RC guild instead...)
