may i point out the obvious? putting this in RuneScape Metagame Discussion, although sounding like a good idea. was a mistake. cls v cr "Discussions" are never about the true detail. as for me, i have had a whip for ages. it is a trusty weapon, one that plainly always works, even if not the best. the way i see it, i can get a cls and get something thats probably an improvement. or i can get a cr and get something that is defiantly an improvement. for me, someone who is far from maxed, has only 70 slayer, does not pk, the cr just wins. thats all there is too it, its better then my current weapon, while being the same. and im willing to trade a 5% boost in dps for a 5% boost in reliability.

I started the quest, but I dropped the mirrors and stuff because I was not going to bother finishing it for a while (and you cant bank them). a while later (aka, now) I cant seam to get the items back. I have the newly made crystal, but that's it. help :(

stone of jas 101. zamorak used it to go from being a demi god to a full blown god. (when zamorak attacked zaros, Zamorak took zaros's "god-ness" though the staff, but only later did zamorak really become a god). the stone of jas is the reason for rune crafting, rune essence is normal rock that has been around the stone of jas for so long that the huge power of the object has warped it in to something strange, and allowed it to absorb raw magic. the moonclan used this to copy the runes guthix left on the world. the stone of jas has been stolen by another mahj-something-something-t (lucin) also with the goal of becoming a god. the stone of jas has been moved around and around. as said before, the essence mines was where it was, it was also at the fist of guthix (infact, guthix named the stone of jas the "fist of Guthix", Saradomin also named it the "eye of saradomin". gods, they can be really up them selfs sometimes) later was moved to the lumbige caves. its current location is unknown. just to clear thing up. back to the topic though, the moon clan gained ability from the stone of jas, so we should too. two things though. 1: they had a much longer time to mess with it then we have. 2: we already have the ability to make runes. and that was caused by the stone of jas. so in fact we already have a runecrafting ability caused by the stone of jas XD.

lets be honest, could anyone NOT pick Chuck Norris? when it comes to looking tough enough to kill demonic creatures 5 times your sise with your bear hands, there is no substitute.

too everyone complaining about underpass being a stupid quest. dam right it is, but it was when jagex had much less exasperation at making quests. things have gotten better. just would like to say that. back on topic. underpass was a horrible scar upon-logic, one that I would not hesitate to chew of one of legs just to not have to go though it like when I first did it. a truly mind bending go at sifting though those liked by the RNGgod and those who are not. ...over a large amount of time .......large, long and painfully slow amount of time just be happy WHEN you finish it. then be unhappy knowing you gotta go though it twice for a later quest.

the worst bug I found was sometimes when trying to summon in the first one the chat box would cut out before you could finish, making finishing (un-abridged) it impossible. :wall:

very in-your-face comment, but I cant help but feel an annoying large amount of truth in that... the first thing I thought when I read about the new slot with the loyalty stuff was. "this cant be good"

someone was looking at me do thok it to em. that was the first thing they said. thok fact. getting shot out of cannons is thoks favourite mode of transport. thok fact. thok can turn coal in to diamonds just by squeezing it in his hands. thok fact. when jagex needs to move something big (like how the entire wilderness was moved about 07) they just get thok to pick it up and move it.

the basic idea is a bit strange, but still simple. the time it takes to get the Torso is more then the time saved by the 4 str bonus. its like spending an hour to scam someone for 50k when you could work for money for an hour and get 500k.

how do I start one of these sagas? something about finding an item, but where (monster/boss drop ect)? can it be started on complexity 1?
