religion is fine. the only problem is only [cabbage]s follow it, and by [cabbage]s I mean humans. religion is fine. what humans make of it is not.

i used to play AQ (lol), dieing meant nothing. all it would do is slightly lower the chance of me getting a sword i already had. and i couldn't even use it anyway. rs compared to that is madness! XD

How Would You Detect Bots?
This is due to Jagex's bizarre philosophy that players should have to "pay" in experience, coins, or both for gameplay that is more interesting. I'm not sure who in Jagex is responsible for this view, or if they're merely adopting the view of their most vocal players. This needs to be turned around before any serious update can take place which would reduce the incentive some players feel to bot. i did once read that "the goal of quests is to have a one very few levels, so you can grind a skill for a short time and do the next quest then grind a bit more" obviously not word for word, but thats the basic idea. training is something to be done in-between questing. not like that will ever happen...

cape prices
I don't know about you but I blame George Bush.... Bush didn't do anything wrong, this is ALL OBAMA'S FAULT. ALL HIS. NOTHING MORE. [/parody] More OT: Last I checked, the only people who gave a crap about team capes were people who put off the extra bonuses that fire cape, soul wars cape, even obby cape gave in order to wear a team cape to "have less risk of hittin yer buddehs @@@". So it's no surprise that their price may volatilely change at any given time. umm... its the best f2p cape there is...

cape prices
they where steady at 300k. it was the skill capes and GE that made them so cheap. anyway its logical capes are going up in price. there is more demand now, from people wanting to pk in. and because of pking, many of them are disappearing.

How Would You Detect Bots?
as i have said before, bots will always be here, and the only way to get rid of them (by "get rid of" i mean low enough numbers to not care about) is to make then unprofitable. not just in terms on money, if in the time it takes to make a bot, its becomes obsolete, then i highly doubt many would be around. what i would do to get rid of them is make botting obsolete. if i find a bot, i would; acount ban, ip ban, and depending on the type of bot, posisbly ban all ip's within 100meters of that ip. but for more passive action, give players little tools to play with, that just happen to confuse bots , flowers, marcker seeds, drawf cannons gota love em. really just a [cabbage] load of stuff that you can walk though/past with no effort. if your organic that is. and if a place is known to be bot heavy, some heavyer equipment may be authorised for that place... i would also make random events much more common, and harder. and tweek the current ones, make them have no unique music (keeps playing what the stuff was form where you where, has no sound effect of you going there, and very little graphical effects. this way people botting but watching there account (bot in one tab, something else interesting in another is common) wont instantly go "errgh, random ... done" and get back to botting. but to contrast this, some very obvious random events will happen, but move you to a place that looks a lot like your current one. so if your picking flax, you could end up in a flax field (with flax you can pick, but disappears when/if the player/bot finished the random) in the middle of nowhere and are told to do an emote to get out. this would stuff with RWT bots as they will think everything is well, but its far form it  on top of those randoms, some little random movement of small things, a fence, a block, a door. stuff that a human would go "its not here, oh its there" but make a bot go "error". anyone remember when the wildy ditch was made in to a wall? thats what im talking about. some more things are D&D's that no one would miss the chance to do. you know someone mining rune essence is a bot when they just walk past a shooting star with a pickaxe already equipped. stuff like a lumberjack walking around going from one place good for wc xp to another. if you go talk to him and get the right questions, you get a chunk of free xp/money. would any human NOT do that if they saw him? i could probably list much much more, and maybe i will, but i guess i will end this. really though, it boils down to: make people not want to bot. make RWT unprofitable. make designing bots a waste of time.

Crafting and Smithing
to level crafting cheaply, i recommend killing green/blue dragons, selling the bones and d-hide to buy dragon leather. a sacred clay needle would help a lot here. while your at it, getting a few gems will help a lot (killing bork, having MTK set to mining etc) basicly, crafting dragon hide is if your best bet. but there are plenty of other ways, buying gold bars and gems to make stuff is cheap and sometimes even profitable. as for smithing, i dont know as much here, people say iron ingot grade 1 is good (at the new smithing update). super heating gold bars with gold-smithing gauntlets is also quite fast. going to the blast furnace can also be very cheap. no mater what your doing (besides super heating) a sacred clay hammer will be your friend.

Best runescape outfits
this thread should probably be called best zamorak outfits. anyway, heldric helm and shield (zamorak as your coat of arms obviously), unholy symbol, dragon boots, cape of zamorak, whip(not painted), red mystic gloves. epic. another one of mine is: change your body and leggs in to the missionary set. (noit your armour, what you look like with no armour on) the ones with all the yellow trim. and make the colour dark red. the rest is up to you, thay just make sweet starters.

Prayers and magic defense
all mage boosting prayers only effect accuracy. fwi, steel skin should still give mage defence (mage defence = 70% of magic + 30% of defence) even if not a lot.

[dev blog] Capes of Distinction
this topic has partly turned in to what people would like capes to be for. i wouldn't mind a cape saying im a balanced skiller lol. but really, i think there should not an "uber cape" as such. more like "completion capes" of varying amounts (with the current plan for an uber cape to be very near the top).

ROW is still junk for pvm
a ferocious ring in kuradal's dungeon increases your odds by 10% a zerker i increases your odds by around 5% very true. however, i am a player who has money for a 3 million gp ring or 75 slayer. my only other option is lumby ring 4, that although is very useful, is not as useful as an extra drop. case in point, RoW is not very good, but any ring of comparable cost is worse.

18-Mar-2011 - Guaranteed Content Poll: Veteran Cape Design
the 2 major things that i found anointing for the dscim content poll where: a, it does not have the original. and b, you can chose the entire pic, but not the details. but to the point, we can get the details we want. nice to see jagex picking up little things like that. anyway, i voted: a2 b2 c3 (they all kinda looked ugly to me) d1 e1 (they all kinda looked ugly to me) at first i thought the "flame" one was horrible, but now i look back and its not that bad.
