Its a Dell inspirion 1525, I noticed that whenever i told it to record from speakers i get a error message saying "WaveOutGetSelectControl()" I searched it on google and I didnt find any real solutions. I'm on vista "WaveOutGetSelectControl()" error means that camstudio cannot fine the line in. I would try updating your driver as that would be a simple fix if it works. Click here to download your sound driver. You might also need to set the default line in in control panel to your on board mic.

I don't see how the should can be coming though the mic. Mics on laptops are usually small. What laptop do you have Model/Brand?

I think its just CamStudio but I set it so that it only records from the speaker, I've never really used the mic in any other way so I can't be too sure. You set it so it records from the speakers? I thought speakers speak? Isn't that what i mic does? captures sound?

You can just tell that buy the title. There is no way vista can run on an xbox360.

I completely agree with you. It is just the fun of going though the trouble of getting on there and learning and say i have been there and done that. Possibly that is what he wants as that is why i did it. Also it is so as hell too or at least on the ps3 it is. I personally think linux runs ok on the ps3 as linux requires alot less system wise as apposed to windows. You could possibly try installing linux on your xbox360.

ah..so THATS what bochs is.. I saw it on a friend of mine's PSP once when I was browsing through his roms and had no idea what the hell it did. Yes. He might have been emulating a OS that runs on x86 architecture as you can sue it on the psp as well.

I know i have done it on the ps3. I know when i did it on the ps3 you need to use a x86 emulator because the ps3 is ppc. A good one to use if you need to know is bochs.

But "hacking photoshop to 'get' it" is not only highly illegal, its pretty much 100% impossible to do cleanly (meaning without being traced and/or getting a virus/rootkit/trojan/other malware). I'm kind of confused too. I think he just wants the folder to quit appearing. have a look at the pictures. the properties of the folder say it is 64kb in size, but there is nothing in it. It isnt a hidden file because he has show hidden files enabled, so he doesn't know where the 64kb is coming from. Try displaying the system files for that folder. Also did you make or rename the file?

You just change the listening port which is 80 for most web sites. Just change the port as comcast blocks 80 incoming (fist hand experience). I wouldn't call them all they will tell you to do is get business class internet.

You could try updating the firmware on the drive its self. Also updating the driver windows uses for it.

I can tell you most likely it is on your end. Which means it is the connection or something with JRE. You could try updating JRE. Also is your computer on wireless internet?
