  1. Sounds like a bad download. I don't know much about iTunes i have never personally used it. Can you redownload the song with out them charging you? If so i would try redownloading it.
  2. Honestly, do you have any idea what you're talking about (no) or did you just wiki T1 and look for a number? T1 is used for servers and offices and such because it has symmetrical up and down speeds, as opposed to residential cable or whatever where the upload speed is almost always going to be significantly less than the download speed. T1 lines also connect directly into the ISP's "hub" (there's a technical term, presence point or something like that), as opposed to a residential connection, which can be routed through several "sub-hubs" (again, there's a technical term and a bit more to it, but I can't find the source I remember right now) before connecting to the ISP's main one. I'd never recommend one for residential use because it's just stupid to pay that much, but saying the connection is garbage is equally stupid. Thank You!
  3. I wish t1 was free and i am sure most of the other people here do to. In fact for the most part it is costly. For the most part it is in the $500-$1000 a month range. Along with a high install price as a line has to get run to your location. Never got the point of a t1. 1.5 downstream is garbage. If you want a good connection go with something like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OC-3#OC-768_.2F_STM-256x or, in a year or two, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OC-3#OC-3072 160 Gb\s? Sign me up, that's 20GBs download speeds. What the [bleep] are you going on about now? Know one gives a [cabbage], he wants get get his problem solved not sit here and listen to you [cabbage]ting.
  4. I did. I have had good experience with their costumer support as you can see in my previous post, but most computers we've had were HPs and lasted quite long, there's one that is now 8 years old almost 9 that never broke once, an HP. The one I have now is an HP as well and never had trouble with it in the 2 years and a half I've had it. ++

  6. That would be you correct? *compfreak847 hugs Microsoft and pats them on the back.
  7. A little Googling. I also have the latest magazine with PC World's Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey (60k+ participants) that ranks Dell above most of the other manufactures. Same with the PC Magazine survey. That's weird. Were these dated for 2 years ago? At the moment HP is kicking Dell in the [wagon].
  8. *compfreak847 hugs Microsoft. Yep :P I love Visual Studio, covers a ton of languages under a single standard interface, regardless of if I'm designing web pages or applications. Plus Windows is still over 90% market share (basically every non-tech person I know), and will probably gain more with windows 7 (the beta looks really nice). Sad.... real programmers don't mess with Microsoft [cabbage].

  10. Most of us are pretty familiar with what a computer program is. :P
  11. I have made a few apps here and there with c/c++.
  12. What about this.
  13. Not true. I get sub-200 ping to virtually any server in the world, and sub-100 almost anywhere. Ok... your point is?
  14. G15 is good but i would go with the G19 it has a color screen!
  15. I personally feel that this topic should be locked. I say this becuase people here are suggesting things and you seem to blow them off and go for something different. You then question the parts which is fine but you have done it for 9 pages! This is the first time i have ever see a build last this long in Tech and Computers. The prime reason is what is stated above, you continue to blow peoples ideas off and then go find some other part, ask there opinion on that and then they say it isn't good and you keep that. That is fine it is your money but, why they hell are you posting about in Tech and Computers? All you have done is piss alot of people in Tech and Computers off.
  16. +1 Hurry up and order already. 8 pages and counting -.- ++
  17. Why is it that this topic is on page 8 and you still can't figure out how to build a computer or figure out the components you want?
  18. Try a different browser and try clearing your cookies and cache.
  19. I agree if that. I never wear any anti-static stuff. Complete overkill in my opinion. If you have your mother board drained of power you should be fine.
  20. It seems that they pretty much just tried to improve on Vista, not redesign an largely different system like they did from XP to Vista. I've got the beta now, and high hopes for the finished product : I think there in a scramble to fix there vista screw up.
  21. I have had it for a few days it is alot faster no doubt. Not as many background processes. I think they copied vista way to much. Still a few compatibility issues. One of the big ones for me is skype.
  22. sloter replied to firanzo1's topic in Tech and Computers
What do you mean by that?
  23. I think Nadril meant to say is home premium or Ultimate for Vista 64bit ;) . There is no pro version on vista :P . Vista > XP. Do not listen to the Mac commercials. Whatever Mr. Certified vista
