  1. There should be some pins on the mother board that have some type of label if you read closely stating. The other thing is HP might have done some weird [cabbage] with it and how they need to be hooked up. As for those pictures that seems to be a wireless device. Seeing those 2 wires and a mac address written on the side.
  2. 1. Install and try opera just to make sure the problem isn't firefox. 2. Delete the folder called jagex_cache_32 found at c:\windows\jagex_cache_32. 3. Uninstall java using revo uninstaller then reinstall it. 4. Give us your RAM, CPU and graphics card specs. If you've done steps 1-3 then I still need your specs. Why are you so horney for opera? I agree with Dracion1 IE should tell if it is working just fine assuming you are one windows.
  3. This would be one of your other pointless post. Does it really matter what he wants to burn? When you say CD burning i take it your are looking for an application that burns. Not the physical hardware of a CD burner as your refer to iTunes. I would use ImgBurn or InfraRecorder. I personally prefer ImgBurn.
  4. I seriously was just thinking the same thing. What is the point in the other sticky. Also is there any way some one can delete all the unless stickies that no one looks at?
  5. Possibly you should call the company that makes the thing instead of [bleep]ing you would probably get somewhere. I couldn't imagine it is out of warranty.
  6. Possibly you could try logging in on meebo and see if you can get in.
  7. Denismage, That's nice that you could give me the code, congrats on being a script kiddie who can copy paste things off milw0rm. This post is the same as all of your other posts. The information is iffy. You are telling everyone to disable JavaScript when there is a patch for it (not surprised). Maybe what you should have done is search around like you did with your anti hack post (which was [cabbage]) when you are unsure on the topic or you could simply keep your [bleep] mouth shut. Sloter Oh yes. I'm being bashed by a tip.it online techie. Are you still upset about the other topic? Yes, I'm such a script kiddie, I warned people about the exploit they didn't know existed before. Yeah, I created the other topic just to show off my googling skills, and all the programs I contributed are ripped off somewhere else. I'm feeling so threatened by you and your computer knowledge, I'm shaking. I'm so afraid you are going to somehow trick my into opening your batch virus which will mess up my system for good and remove my internets. Oh, and you know milw0rm, that surprised me! It's only the biggest exploit website on the web. Please don't smite me with your uber dos program sloter, I'll behave. It isn't the fact that you were warning us, but you're telling people to cripple the functionality of their browser without telling them why. What does DOS have to do with anything? How did that come up in me telling you to shut up?

  9. I was kind of thinking the same. After thinking about it if he has to post about this topic I am thinking he used the automated recovery disc or partition that come with prebuilt computers. A lot of them will install the drivers for you. I could be wrong though. If your computer is prebuilt please provide us with the maker and model.
  10. If the hdd is perfectly good they would be completely [developmentally delayed] for smashing it(money), and you have to wipe a disk several times before it is truly cleaned as when you reformat some stuff will remain, you can't access it though without some programs, that will be waiting to be written on over as you use the hdd. If you stole a laptop might you want a new hard drive in it or wipe it?
  11. I would say you should ask and see if someone blocked it. If so then you know that is your issue. You could try pinging runescape.com it might possibly just be a speed issue.
  12. People have suggested using programs to track the laptop back. What happens if they take the HDD out and smash it or wipe it?
  13. sudo macchanger --mac 6B:1C:32:33:41:65 wlan0 Ta-da. Same applies for windows. That is just going to fake one. That isn't going to change the actual hard coded address. You can change it nevertheless. For windows it's even easier, you can make the change persistent as long as the program does what it needs to do on startup. You can fake in in the registry with out a program in windows.... The point is you are not going to permanently change it on the hardware. I know that, but why bother if you can just click. What I'm trying to say is that you can spoof mac if you really want to. Sigh. You can spoof it but you can not change it. As i have said 3 or 4 times now. I was possibly stating you could use as a means of identify it it. However, you would be correct, as stated in my second post, ("I'm sure there is a way as it is the computer a lot can be done. That i know of? No.") that you can not trace it over the internet. It would be extremely challenge if possible. You posted thinking well I'll prove sloter wrong. You proceed to post that you could change it. You cannot and now you are saying that you can spoof it.

  16. I'm sure there is a way as it is the computer a lot can be done. That i know of? No.
  17. Those look like [cabbage] to be honest with you. I doubt they have good bass.
  18. Not really. They will get a new IP address when the connect to another LAN or WAN. The mac address could possibly do something for you as those are hard coded into the hardware.
  19. Did you install the driver? Did this happen after installing the driver?
  20. But he can hook up another monitor? So I'm assuming you're talking about hardware in which case you shouldn't buy an all-in-one. That and you don't get what you pay for. Far from it.
  21. If you want functionality and multiple monitors, don't but a mac. Bottom line.
  22. I believe an imac is the mac with the screen and hardware combined? If so isn't it going to be a bit difficult to change out the card if it change able? It doesn't have an external port? Also why would you need more memory for for dual monitors? Your going to most likely be running the same applications just with more of a view. I suppose if the graphics shares memory then maybe.
  23. I use to just put it in standby when i had a 680i on the Striker Extreme. It would have CMOS issues on boot up time. Later issues even greater lead me to RMA that board they sent me a Striker II Formula which has the 780i. I don't do standby anymore. I don't leave it on either as my room will get about 85-90F and it also eats power. I do leave my laptops on all the time though.
