Mining sucks for money. Iron is inefficient for money, so is adamant. Iron ore is brought in by F2Pers, coal by MTK, mithril is ehh. Then adamant bars are brought in by the masses through Aviansies. Rune is actually being botted in the Hero's Guild, and isn't decent money. --- So, it doesn't leave it out of the loop, it's just highly inefficient. I remember pre-MTK when everyone dreamed of 60 mining to access the guild, so they could earn oodles of money, MTK ruined that, but made smithing easier/cheaper. Then there is the Stealing Creation thing, it creates less of a demand for bars and subsequently ores, even further denting the market.

Maybe, but with the Drag X bow already expected, it's more likely to be this, IMO Did Jagex confirm the release of the Dragon xbow? Because I could say that this is a hugely disproportional dragon pickaxe, with a bit of wire/rope across it to hold it up. The release of the dragon pick was confirmed by Jagex. I could be wrong about the normal bow (I'm definitely wrong about the pickaxe :P) but just don't get your hopes up, all it does is let you down, which is what MMG does not want.

It's not a cross bow. It's a longbow/shortbow with an arrow loaded and perpendicular to the bowstring, looks more like a dark bow or a strange equivalent.

Yea, I realized the line thing, but I assume people would just click south of there anyway, most people who have completed Heroes Quest would probably know that. And I've never mined at the Heroes Guild, nor have I entered the Rogue's Den, so I'm not sure, but it could be a plausible alternative. Thanks :D
