How can "hackers" be so stupid ?
Are you calling me stupid ! If you downloaded a suspicious file, didn't run antivirus software, or entered your usename and password anywhere but runescape.com (the only 3 things that could have happened), you did something stuipd ;) I have Symantec Antivirus Scan everyday, I almost never download anything off suspicious websites. It could have been that I had been using IE. Using Chrome currently. Sorry, but Symantec is pretty bad as far as Antiviruses go. It won't catch much, and is very cpu/ram intensive and slow compare to other, better programs such as Avast, AVG, and Avira (Those are just the free ones. If you want to pay, get Nod32 or Kapersky)

Prince of Persia
Yeah, it looks like you set the smudge rate to 100 and rushed around the entire thing. Try it in moderation, and be a bit more gradual. :P Also, that dark on the right doesn't work.

Does you password look like this? l3jf8enjfb4jvhwfnj3ikr3kih5rb :?: Nah, I'm not that paranoid. But no more questions about my pass, or I'll have to kill you. :?

Request: Changing Avatar Chat Heads.
No. Red just fails. :P Really, try to stay away from it. I used to use it, and now realize how terrible it looks. And I like what Uno did (well, I like everything Uno does  ). The white works well, and doesn't detract from anything.

How can "hackers" be so stupid ?
Rule number 1 - Clans recommended by random people ingame either suck or are scams. Rule number 2 - Getting hacked is extremely easy to avoid. No site can download viruses to your computer without your permission. And there are plenty of free antiviruses. Off-Topic - I clicked the link on Runescape to see "How to make my password safe" and it said the max number of characters was 20. WTF? My pass is 40+ characters  Yeah, I'm a bit paranoid.

Signature help.
My pleasure :) Dynamic signature = Automatically updating (changing) signature : The only thing that does not automatically update is the questpoints. You can do it yourself, though, by finding the number in the url that was how many questpoints you had, and changing to how many questpoints you now have.

Post your Speedtest.net results!
This is from my old laptop that has a wireless adapter pushing 6 years.. I'll check later on my good desktop to see if there's much difference. To Wongtong and Star, I would cry at that Internet speed. EDIT: Speed on desktop (still wireless) Not much different, but a much better ping.

Signature help.
You need to go to the UCP, or user control panel. It's at the top of every forum page (just click the link). On the left, there's a list. Click profile, then edit signature. Paste the code from the signature into the box, and hit submit. [url=http://sign.tip.it][img=http://sign.tip.it/0/5/91/40/supernova190.png][/url] [stats]0/5/91/40/supernova190[/stats] Your code should look like one of those two. They need the BB code tags around them, or they won't work. If nothing is showing up still, make another sig with the Tip.It maker. If that doesn't work, try putting something else in your signature to see if anything will show up.

extra ge for p2p
o my grammer and spelling burn ur eyes? u kno wats ironic? dosent looking into a computer screen for 24/7 hurt ur eyes at least a little, they shud after couple 99s. who the fek cares about spelling on a chat? and if ur afraid of it not being so "grand" u could make several small booths around rs so teh "grand" huge one stays "grand" Erm, sorry? They have 99 skills because they were motivated enough, just because they have 99 skills doesn't mean that they are on the computer for 24 hours a day. Also, I for one care about proper spelling and grammar. If I were to post my whole post tlking 1n 133t spek it wod look a b1t stup1d, w0udnt it? I see no need to type in chat speak as opposed to the way you naturally talk. OT: I see no need for an extra GE. Sure, it's really laggy, but I find going into Standard Detail stops almost all the lag. The actual "usable" part is small anyways, and it's within easy reach of a glory teleport or a Varock teleport. o ye thnks for makin it clear u dont have to stare at a computer screen 24/7 to get a 99 playin for couple hours a week gets u a 99 in no time. thnks for the insperation  If it lags, turn down some settings or go into standard detail. If you lag on standard, get a new computer, or deal with it. It's not Jagex's fault that your computer can't run their software. And as for the 99, only real noobs call people who actually spend some time and effort no-lifers. They spent hours and hours to attain this, and insulting them in poor grammar makes you look like an idiot. I'll be honest. You are one of the dumbest, stupidest, and insulting (well, you try to, and fail and just make me laugh harder at you) trolls I've seen on these forums. Ever. Really.. get some grammar and common courtesy, or leave. Honestly. GTFO

Buying a new computer.. tell me what you think!
What do the ratings stand for? Quad 6600? I too was put off by the high cost of the processor.. but I'm still dieing for that 2.83 I just need some extra cash. PS. Would anyone recommend after i get my comp, to get a better quality Processor fan? Because some of the reviews says it gets hot. You're not going to notice the difference, especially without using a previous quad to it's max. Not to mention the fact that you could easily overclock the Q6600 to like 3.0Ghz on air cooling. I do think it's better to buy now, than upgrade later. But, if that's what you want, you should buying a Core i7. Completely right. The extra 200 Mhz won't make much difference, and the Q6600 can easily, easily, be overclocked to 3Ghz, while the Q9400 isn't that great for overclocking. Get the Q6600.

Buying a new computer.. tell me what you think!
I'm almost positive that it doesn't matter as long as they're both the same adapter (ie. PCI)

Buying a new computer.. tell me what you think!
- You've already gotten help there : Follow Joe's advice. He knows what he's doing. - Building a computer can be difficult, but doesn't require everything you're doing (just do it already!!) ...And Nadril was right. When you're looking at really similar processors, or other components, just get the cheapest one. You won't recognize a few Mhz in clock speed, or a faster fan, or w/e. As long as the manufacturer is decent and it'll do what it's supposed to, buy it. You're even starting to piss me off...

Signature idea.
I remember some mod posting that putting anything in hide tags would not make the signature under the rules if it was larger to begin with. And Shazarabbit... to the siggy and avvy

IP addresses and their effects in runescape
I tried it with a friend online who has a variable adress as well. It didn't make any difference (I usually won :P ) The reason? Faster internet speed, and lower ping and latency. Not some supposed code inside Runescape. Sorry. Th3 1n73rw3b2 4r3 4 d4ng3r0u2 pl4c3. D0n't b3l1v3 wut u h34r. :ugeek: [/random]

Tip.It Presents: RuneScript
I think I know what you're asking. If your not in the Tip.It channel and in another channel, you should ask the channel admins(or whoever has the highest status in the room) if RuneScript is available in there. If you want your own private channel for using Runescript, you can go to #yourchannelhere (replace with a name of your choice) then try /invite RuneScript #yourchannelhere. From there, the runescripting is up to you. Hopefully I answered your question? Runescript requires 3 users in a chat before it joins. I heard you can do it in pm. How would you do that? I know next to no IRC commands. EDIT: */query runescript* works great for me \

Tip.It Presents: RuneScript
Time to be nub : What Tip.it channel is good for Runescript other than #runescape? I might just be doing it wrong too... can I just type !(randomcommand), or do I need to do something different for the Tip.it IRC? [/nubness]

Building A Computer?
$300 for an XP Liscense? That's probable equal to all the accessories and the license, plus $50. (At least here). And as for time, you can get it done in around 5/6 hours. Not that long. :
